This is a great company, and our service man Eric is truly a professional
032123: We've had CP&H for almost 10 years now, servicing our HVAC system, performing check ups, etc. Have always been satisfied with their TMs and their service. So when our leak detector went off three times over the course of a couple hours, I gave them a call. I was handed over to Scott, the plumbing manager. I explained our situation, detailing that all faucets, valves - you name it - where thoroughly checked. Not a leak in sight. He was very engaged, and walked me through every possible scenario - until Voila! We (he) found the trigger of the leak detector - a faulty toilet tank flap. SO grateful for his expertise and experience. SO grateful for the high level of customer service. Just SO grateful. Re: HVAC service: Sam has been coming to our home for several years now to perform semi annual checkups on our HVAC system. He is consistently pleasant and respectful. He also knows his stuff. I have complete faith in the job he performs. Everyone at the company with whom I spoken to thus far has been knowledgeable, kind and prompt. No complaints here. Just kudos to a job well done!
Good
Had a simple clogged pipe. DO NOT CALL ON THE WEEKENDS!!!! Charges me $800 for an hour of work
Decided to try them out again after disappointing me several years ago. Entered into an HVAC service agreement. The cleanings went well. Called them to service my malfunctioning condensate pump. I told them the float was likely stuck since it wouldnt stop running. They charged me $210 to come out and simply clean the float which was stuck open as suspected. $139 of that was a diagnostic charge which was apparently unnecessary. Two days later it malfunctioned again so I replaced it myself. Asked them to credit back the cost of the pump since they didn't solve the problem. Said that wasn't their policy but would have waived the diagnostic charge to install it themselves. How benevolent. Never again.
Doug was amazing! Steve was amazing! Great plumbers! Lazy girl answers phone but don’t let that put you off. They are great plumbers and very honest, conscientious, careful with your home. Plumbers are polite and knowledgeable. We’ve been customers of this company for 20+ years. Hired them to plumb house as we built it and ever since. We have called other plumbers but always went back to Cocalico Plumbing. They really are the best. Girl at front desk must be family 🙄 Otherwise, she wouldn’t be there … very different attitude than the “can do” attitude of the excellent plumbers.
Highly recommended. During this heat spell amazing we could call and technician was here at our home the very next day. Kudos to Eric - knew exactly what to to and courteous as well. Very pleased!
Always friendly and great service
Plumbers arrived in time frame. Gave an estimate and completed job. Good experience,
Definitely a top notch place. I called yesterday because our pressure tank looked like it was leaking water on the floor. I called CPH yesterday and they made an appointment for this morning at 830. The person came and found out indeed that the pressure tank was leaking. He went to pick up the parts and returned with another person and they had the job finished by shortly after lunch. Good Job, Doug and Jason.
Simply outstanding company to work with for plumbing and HVAC needs. Would recommend to anyone.
Very good service
We were looking to replace our heat pump and contacted CPH for a quote. Dale came out, evaluated our needs, made recommendations and provided a prompt and complete proposal. The following week Matt and Dennis arrived right on time, discussed what was going to be done and addressed all of our questions. They were friendly, very professional and respectful of our property. They did a great job on the install, tested the system, and cleaned up afterwards. The office manager then registered our system with the manufacturer. Bottom line, this was an excellent experience and we would highly recommend this company.
As a realtor on the buyer's side, we wanted a sewer line inspection completed on a 100 yr old house for a purchase. We hired a home inspector that performed inspections, but he was unable to get his camera through. The sellers then hired cocalico plumbing. An inspection was "performed" with the report stating that there was just a slight bevel in the line and no roots that we were concerned about because of trees in the area. "nothing to worry about, I would buy this house myself." it was scoped all the way to the street that day??? When I asked for the video, 'the technician must have not hit record, none available." We rescheduled for another day. I called their office that morning to confirm the inspection was happening, and was told their camera equipment was broken. Since we were only 2 weeks from settlement, Cocalico subbed another company to come do the inspection. The new company also had issues navigating their camera through the line and had to water jet the pipes to clear the line. I was astounded by what I saw. I am not a plumber and do not claim to be, but I am sure when you look at the pictures below, any average person could tell the line was not free of tree roots. When I contacted Cocalico plumbing and asked the service manager if he had seen the new video, he had stated he had not. I asked him to please do so and respond to me with some kind of explanation. That was 45 days ago. 30 days ago I called once again, he had still not viewed the footage and asked me "what I wanted" I wanted an explanation. Please consider this review before hiring this company.
I've been using CPH for furnace and AC maintenance since I've owned my home. When my water heater started leaking, I submitted a request on their website and someone contacted me within a few minutes. They were able to send out two service technicians the same day and swapped out my bad water heater with a brand new one. While the mess in my basement wasn't convenient, getting my water heater replaced was as easy as can be. I appreciate the quick response and great service to get me back up and running! Office staff and techs are friendly to deal with also.
They scheduled me quickly the same day. Call when they arrived introduce themselves and wore a mask. Diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate of the cost of the repair. Finished the job, wrote up the receipt, choice of check or credit card. Toilet works Great, am very happy.😁
If you use this company make sure you get a price 1st for them to show up and have one hours worth of work and give me a bill for almost $300 I feel this is taking advantage of their customer
The guy that came to our house diagnoses the problem quickly and effectively. He fixed the problem and then gave me a discount. He was very nice and attentive. Wore a mask the whole time. I would definitely recommend this company to my local friends and family!
Best plumbers around. Fair and honest, hard to find anymore. Plan to use for all our needs!
Absolutely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with, they came out to my house for an emergency call the technician told me he saw mud in my lines, claimed after that statement that it was a clogged pipe, it wasn’t the pipes were crushed they never corrected the problem claimed it was a clog, charged me $1000 and never resolved the correct issue. $5000 and another company later it’s finally fixed!! The guy clearly had no clue what he was doing and Marci is the fakest and most unprofessional woman I’ve ever dealt with. Please do yourself a favor and don’t use this company they rip people off and do not back their work they should be ashamed of how they treat customers!
