Awoke to a leak from water heater drain spout that was flooding my basement. Within a short time, Lyle came out to fix the issue. He assessed and fixed the issue in no time. Lyle was extremely polite and looked over our water heater to make sure everything was in tip top shape. I cannot recommend Lyle and Maitz home services enough! Maitz has always came through when we have an emergency in our 100+ year old house.
Have used this Co. before. First time, job well done. 2nd time they never showed up and never called me. Turns out they called a number I told them to delete. When I called them about it the woman at the office was horribly rude to me. Cancelled and will never use again! Update: Days later someone from the company reached out, asked about what happened and apologized and made an effort to make amends.
I made an online schedule. I received an email with time confirmed from 12pm-4pm and I waited. No one showed up. When I called, it was too late. no one answered. The next day I called them and they said the got the wrong number on the appointment? I only had one number that I used for decades and not one of those numbers that they repeats back to me even made sense. They used this tactic to not have to take care of their responsibilities ?If they really wants to contacted me, they could have also send me an email.
Had to get a new energy efficient heating and Ac unint. Great experience from begining to end and workers were awsome. Thank you. Steve, also Steve and john and sales rep John.
First rate. Sales and technical staff were very professional and knowledgeable. Their price was very competitive when compared with other companies. We also liked that the warranty was not dependent upon purchase of a maintenance plan. We would highly recommend Maitz.
Came out to help find spigot and outdoor water system. Very knowledgeable about plumbing. Very friendly and helpful.

They were on time, no monkeying around, went right to work, cleanup after the job and communicated about each process of the job. Answered any questions I had or didn't think about. We have had a great experience with Maitz! They are very reasonably priced and won't try to oversell you. Our sales person, Jim P., has been great from start to finish. Our new furnace and AC was installed within 3 or 4 days of Jim coming to our home for the quote. Techs were prompt, friendly, and efficient. A big job was done in 1.5 days. They left the area cleaner than it was when they arrived! When I needed a more detailed invoice months after installation to apply for a rebate, Maitz was prompt and helpful. Jim even called me personally within 24 hours of my call to make sure I got what I needed. Can't recommend enough. Saved us hours of headache and provided us with peace of mind.

chris was awesome the company itself was awesome but Chris Burda the electrician was awesome spent all day trying to find a problem that took out power to my whole house 8 hrs later found the issue came back the next morning and fixed it wihno issues at all very professional made sure I understood what was going on diagnosed my problem that wasn't easy very uncommon problem back te next morning had it fixed in a couple hrs stayed around to make sure everything was working good before he left great service i will definitely call them for any problems I encounter in the future amazing service and knowledgeable employees was a great experience definitely got my business forever
Excellent! Better than advertised. The whole process was extremely easy in regards to a whole heating and A/C replacement. I saw the sales representative (JAMES) on Friday and on Wednesday the job was completed. Professional, tardy and complete! Jerry and Chris the two techs were very knowledgeable and covered all questions and completed everything in one day! Great work. I will refer Maitz to anyone and everyone moving forward! Ken showed up right on time and promptly got to work replacing our leaky water heater and a softener that had stopped working. The install looks great, and they even shop vac'd up the old mess from the other units. As an added bonus, he did a water hardness test before doing the work and then one after, which really showed the difference. I'll be using Maitz again for sure. Thanks Ken! Update - 3/31/23 After returning home from a trip, my water felt “slimy” and it took a while to wash soap away. Ken showed within 24 hours of my call, diagnosed, and fixed the problem in no time. I couldn’t be happier with him and kudos to Maitz for sending out the same tech who did the install of the product I was having problems with!
Our technician was great, very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He replaced and upgraded our hot water heater. The service was fast and done better than expected. Thankyou, you will be our go to for these kind of services moving forward.
Felt totally taken advantage of. Service fee never mentioned on the phone and not taken off if you use them. pricing depends on what they think you can afford. We were at 800 and 500 then 200. Absolutely ridiculous. Took 10 min to clear. I would like to update my review to include that I received a call from Maitz the following day to discuss my review. Seems there was a misunderstanding between the office and the driver apparently they were running a special that day waiving the service fee. She proceeded to refund me 89. for the service fee .
Scheduled an appointment with Maitz to have a boiler pump replaced. Technician was wonderful and thorough. I consider myself to be reasonably versed in my own appliances but didn't have the time to repair it myself. The technician diagnosed my system and agreed with my assessment but noticed another problem my eyes had missed. The technician re-evaluated the cost and time but was very reasonable. I was delighted to give my respect to a worker who takes pride in job and catches small details in complex systems. Thank you Matt, and thank you Maitz for providing a wonderful service.
Joel replaced a hot water heater for us with little notice. He got the job done with no issues and even installed shut off valves that were not there before. He was great. We could not recommend more. 10 stars!!!
System and service for HVAC system was great. There financing company Synchrony Bank is outrageous, more than half my payment goes to interest. The sales representative does not tell you that. I called them Monday to discuss and never received a call back. If you need financing, do not use them, it's not worth it.
Wondered if we wanted to fix our old toilet ourselves,. Thanks to Lyle for doing it for us. We appreciate having Maitz for our Home.
