We are very disappointed with their service and how they took advantage of us. First service: "it's a little low on coolant left me charge it." Then "hmm... That didn't fix it. I think it is a valve." Then "It wasn't that either. It must be that it needed a cleaning." I complained to their boss and asked why wasn't the cleaning done first? Second service: Then 6 months later the same system is acting up again. We call them to see if they will warranty their work. The new technician says that the refrigerant is very low indicating a massive leak. His recommendation is that the whole unit be replaced. The quote: >$10k for an 1100 square foot town house!! We ask why did they service it both times if they knew it had major leaks? They took over $1500 of our hard earned money for the service calls that never should have been done. We are opening a Better Business Bureau claim.

Responding to fly eagles fly. It was appreciated what you have done, but in hindsight this was a brand new unit that had issues from the beginning, and because of your negligence on the first year complimentary check up this should have been a red flag to you that this was a faulty unit. 4 consecutive years there has been a issue one way or another with this unit that prompted us to go a different route. Therefore that is the reason why you did not get a response from us. We are DONE dealing with Jack lehr and their inadequte service. THANK YOU. VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER 7000 dollars down the drain and also what you wanted to charge us to come out and fix it this year, so glad we didn't have you come back out to fix it cause who knows come next year what problem AGAIN this unit would of had..

We had a contract. They came to check HVAC. Their employee took our thermostat off of the wall. It had NEVER been off the wall He had trouble getting it back on the holder. Later on when I was checking the heat. The whole thermostat fell off the wall and broke. They refused responsibility and said it was in working condition when they left the house. This happened in the winter. They then would not fix it for a week!! I had to get another company to do the work and it cost me $1200!!! That thermostat had NEVER been off the holder since it was installed, and these two elderly Ladies certainly didn't take it off. They will no longer be doing any work for us. They are not reliable or reputable.

2019 had a trane ac unit installed. 2020 went to turn unit on and did not work jack lehr came out to fix. 2021 same thing, went to turn unit on and did not work.2022 again turned unit on did not work again. Now 2023 AGAIN turned it on and did not work. Jack lehr comes back with a quote to fix everything it would cost 3000 dollars, after back and forth with jack lehr they come back with a quote of 1.075.00 to fix the problem. Ok well that being said how can I trust them to come and do anymore work on our system. They have used the excuse that we have humidity in our home which is causing the unit to breakdown. We have talked to 5hvac professionals and each one has said that would not be causing the problem. Jack lehr should have replaced this faulty unit the first year it broke down, even the one service guy we had here said...THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RED FLAG FROM THE BEGGINNING. Stay far away from this company they do not stand behind their customers, they will put the blame on you anyway they can.
