I scheduled dual temp to fix a problem we had on our two rooftop A/C units with the alarm panel. We’ve never used this company before we have another company that we use, but we were referred to them by this other company that they can fix this issue. The issue ended up getting fix by my alarm company, so instead of canceling them I asked them to clean the ac units on the roof. The other company was $600 with the belts, dual temp was around $900 what I was told but I still when with them to give them my business. They did a decent job on the roof getting the system clean. 2 day later I’m still getting water inside so I call them and they said it was because of the ductwork wasn’t insulated not because of the job they did, but magically it stopped leaking and hasn’t leaked since so obviously it was not the duct work .So today they called me to pay the bill and I find out it’s $1950 versus $900 like I was told. I go to find out they charge me for the return visit and they charged me for the time they came out to find out what parts they needed for the cleaning. When I said something to them about this they basically did not care I did tell them that I would not be using their company anymore and they acted like they didn’t need any of our business not realizing I own multiple restaurants. I do not recommend them because of the game they played in our bill and I will not use them again.
We have been using Dual Temp for several years now and we are very satisfied with the service. Reactionary maintenance and/or emergency items are hard to manage from a remote site. Dual Temp does a GREAT JOB of taking care of our maintenance needs and they react in a timely manner.
