Was not happy with where they vented the furnace right next to the back door....did not level the air conditioning unit...said the air conditioning unit was fine...would not fix the vent at the back door....Rick is gruff and I feel could care less....wouldn't recommend to my friends or family

I usually don't write reviews but since I only called them based on others reviews felt it was necessary. I Definitely don't recommend them at all. 1 star is too but you have to give something but zero is more like it. Save your time and money. A couple weeks ago we found ourselves with no heat. So began looking for someone who could handle the issue. Clayton's had fairly good reviews so called. I really wish I would've saved myself the time and more importantly Definitely money. When I called it wasn't after hours but by the time the tech called to get address it was. But with no heat I had no problem paying the fee for after hours. I was quoted $270 for after hour call and one hour of work. Needless to say it was much much more. That wouldn't necessarily wouldn't be an issue if the problem was fixed and more importantly other issues werent created. The tech had no clue what he was doing and finally after about 45 to an hour he just says, I'm tried and I'm done. Talk about unprofessional, but said he'd come back and correct everything after getting sleep. Okay no problem. Well he was here he disconnected our heat pump ac some things in the electric box jumped a bunch of wires and made a huge mess. Never heard from after they took my money and ran, so i had to hire someone else to fix everything properly and undo the mess that was created by Clayton's. Just stay away from Clayton's unless you would like to throw your hard working money away.

Clayton replaced my furnace in 2019, furnace quit working today, I called and they sent Ron out. He was here within an hour after I contacted them. He did a great job finding the problem and repairing it! What a great guy, very professional and respectful of my property! I wouldn't call anyone else! Thanks Ron for taking care of my problem so quickly!!

They were very professional and fast. I ended up paying $1000 over the estimated price for a heatpump/AC/Furnace installation, and I think the recommended units might have been too big for my house, but it was quality work and polite workers. In the end, with climate change coming on us, the larger units might be the best thing for me regardless of the price. My AC had broken and I needed new anyway, and I wanted an all electric unit so it could run off my solar instead of a non renewable source that might have price hikes. From start to finish it was the best contracted experience I could have hoped for. I am happy I chose them for the work. Grateful. 🙏💛✌️

Was told that this company was not accepting new customers until August after my address was checked and compared to another previous owner’s file. Very unprofessional and discriminating. As administrator of “Historic and Notable Youngstown Ohio Homes” Facebook page, I would recommend all 1600 members to avoid this company.

I used them in February for a furnace problem and was well satisfied. In March my furnace failed again and the tech(Al) spent three hours diagnosing the problem. He determined that a part installed in February was faulty and he replaced it. They guaranteed their serviced therefore there was no charge for todays service. Called for a furnace repair. Was told that I wasn't an existing customer so they wouldn't send anyone out. How exactly do they expect someone to become an existing customer? It's not like you replace a furnace every year. My money spent just fine with one of their competitors.
