There was a bad fuse in the disconnect and replaced and then started up and checked the thermastat. Very well knowedgeable. Thank you. Peggy
I wish I could add more stars…the experience was THAT unbelievable. Props to a company that… 1. Has a human being who answers the phone 2. Goes above and beyond to accommodate client regardless of how close to closing time it is (I called Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend-my blessing, don’t hold them to that) 3. employs workers who are personable, respectful, engaging…and a picture of the technician to expect and his eta were sent after the appointment was confirmed. Kenny and Justin were nothing but polished and gracious West Jeff Plumbing should be the model for the service industry. I cannot say thanks enough.

We have used Jefferson Plumbing and Heating for over thirty years and they never disappoint. This time our well line was in need of repair. They were out first thing the next day. In less than 24 hours from our incident we had water running again. They’ve fixed everything from our well pump, pressure tank, sump pump, water heater, and completed general plumbing repairs. They nursed an air conditioner for 25 extra years and eventually put in a new central air system. Anytime we have had an emergency situation, like this one, they have been out quickly. They’re always friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. They’ve been our go-to call every time and will continue to stay at the top of our list.
We've been having problems w/ our toilet for over a year which was just a cheap basic toilet w/ our new build. Plumber was able to replace it the same day of service and explained how it should actually work. Very happy with our service!
Ever since West Jefferson Heating & Plumbing replaced my HVAC system - I don’t even bother with looking for any other outfit. These gentlemen are always professional, do excellent work, and truly “nice guys” - always pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable. Excellent value for exceptional work. Warning!!! We had West Jeff come out to do a routine air conditioner maintenance. Our air conditioner (confirmed by 2 other hvac companies was only 8 years old) was working just fine before the appointment. The tech told me it was a little low on Freon and he would add some. I agreed to that. An hour and 45 minutes later it sounded like someone was starting a lawn mower up in my house. The tech came back and confirmed a coil had burst and we now needed a new air conditioner. The tech said he needed to call the office to figure out the next steps but instead of updating me, he jumped in his truck and left leaving me with a broken air conditioner and no answers. We had 2 other companies come out for quotes. Both companies confirmed the tech was negligent to not check for or secure the leaks (I also have an email after he left the first time that confirms he did not check for leaks) He then added too much freon which caused the rupture. West Jeff offered us $1000 credit to a new air conditioner which still left us $2,600 out of pocket which is not even close to making us whole for their tech’s negligence. Our air conditioner probably still had years left in its life. We called them to do a maintenance to avoid a situation like this and we still ended up with a broken ac. Mistakes happen, but to leave us with an unexpected $2,600 out of pocket isn’t right. We took our business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same.
Clint performed a variety of plumbing tasks, including installing a new toilet and a new shower head. Thorough nest and professional. Excellent communication.
This experience couldn't have been better. My old furnace and AC unit were in need of replacement. WJPH did a very complete analysis and presented me with some of great options, listing the prices for each. I did my own due diligence and found their pricing to be very attractive. Once I chose my systems, installation was done within a week. The service guys were extremely professional and weren't at all bothered by any questions I posed to them throughout the day. They even tried to save me some expense by pointing out that my existing filter box could be used. They cleaned up properly, had a cool tool for processing my payment and even registered my products for me, which is an important step in extending the manufacturers warrantee. A-1 job, all the way!
I can't say enough about West Jefferson Plumbing and Heating. They were fantastic in solving my water problems. I knew exactly when they were going to arrive because of their notification and tracking system. They were very professional in their communication with me every step of the way. From the installation of a well pressure tank and switch, to the installation of a new iron filter and twin tank water softener, nothing could have been better. Noah had a wealth of knowledge and experience to solve my water pressure problem, and Anthony led the charge with his coworkers in getting my old water softener removed and my new one installed. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing their services. Top notch!

I have used West Jeff heating and plumbing for plumbing repairs and water heater replacement and just recently A/C work and I have never had an issue with them. Service is great and prices seem fair to me. I would not hesitate to use them for any issues I have!
I highly recommend this company. I called around a couple of weeks or so ago to different companies for quotes and West Jeff gave me a price (best I found) promptly without run around. I unfortunately put off the water heater replacement until tragedy struck this morning. Called them back and, fortunately got service the very same day. Outstanding ! So I suggest, at the first sign of trouble, call West Jeff Plumbing and Heating on the double.
Arrived when scheduled and got right to work. Took out old hot water heater and put in new. Tested water throughout the house. Cleaned up any mess. Pleasant to talk with. Explained and demonstrated to me how to drain some water out on a regular basis using the old hot water heater valve. Now I really know what to do. Many thanks for that!!
The entire process of replacing our heating and cooling systems was made easy by Ivan and his installation crew. On a recommendation from my neighbor, who was very pleased with their work and pricing, I chose West Jeff as one of the bids for the job. The price was significantly lower than the competition, which concerned me at first, but they provide Lenox systems which are top rated by Consumer Reports. Turns out there we no negative surprises. Every step from model selection to price points were clearly explained by Ivan with no up-sale pressure. He even advised how we could same money by keeping components from our previous system that were in great condition like the HEPA filter and humidifier. The installation crew was knowledgeable, courteous, and completed the job in a timely and careful manner. I especially liked their follow up with registration (which extends warranties) and rebate paperwork! They have my highest recommendation for what an HAVAC company should be! Well done guys.
It started with an AC repair that got me through a few 90+ degree days and ended with a replacement of my entire 20 year old system. 100% no issues. I went out to several companies for quotes and some have yet to even give me a callback. A couple were absolutely rediculous. This company answered the phone....2nd ring! Service the next day. Ordered a replacement system and it was installed within the same week. Great Company. Great People. Great Pricing. I am definitely a customer from now on. Additionally, I had some plumbing work needed. The exact same type of fair, on-time service. I added many things on the fly and all were handles perfectly. Another great employee met. He tackled all needs and more. He is 7 for 7. He'll know what that means. All in all, many years and many homes, if I have a future need for plumbing or HVAC, I will only call West Jefferson. I recommend them 100% and I had no issues in any area! Keep up the great work!

West Jefferson HVAC and Plumbing was able to replace our leaking hot water tank on the same day that I called. Our technicians were polite, fast and cleaned up the work area including taking our old tank. I have previously used them for furnace repair as well and recommended them.
