Called Spartan because our AC was not working. They came out and diagnosed the issue and gave us two options. We went with a new system due to the issue and age of our current system. The staff at Spartan are always friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There is never any pressure to do more than necessary. They got the new system installed in an efficient and timely manner. The techs were great. They cleaned up all their mess and left my home tidy. I have used Spartan for other heating and cooling needs in the past and am always happy and satisfied with the results. Definitely a top rate company.
Nick (the owner) installed a new AC unit recently for one of my rentals. He did great work fast and I’ve already contracted his services for a furnace/AC install on another house. Very satisfied.
They were able to diagnose my problem quickly and repair it even after another HVAC system technician From another company had wired it wrong.

Spartan was an excellent choice for our central air installation. Nick was extremely responsive, professional, and communicated throughout the process. Nick was the most professional business owner I’ve ever worked with. Not only did he go over all my issues and showed pictures of the issues he went above and beyond fixing other issues previous hvac people had missed or didn’t fix. Once him and his team finished their job, everything was cleaned up and was told detailed instructions on everything they did and the maintenance of maintaining everything I had installed! I would highly recommend having spartan heating and air do any work in my home and I will continue to use them for any projects I need in the future

I was looking to add a humidifier to my existing furnaces and contacted several companies. Nick was prompt with the estimate and scheduling. Price was in line with other companies. Install was quick and painless. Now house is healthier for family breathing and comfort. Thanks Spartan
Over the last few years they have always been reliable when the furnac, thermostat or A/C unit has needed repairs. This year the very old furnace went out one week, and the hot water tank the next. They came out within a day both times and replaced the units. Haven't had any problems since.
Had the gas regulator and motherboard on my furnace go out and they had my system up and running the next day after getting the computer part overnighted.. technicians were friendly and respectful even explained what they were doing and testing while doing their diagnostic checks. I will definitely be using spartan heating and air for all my hvac needs.
We were in crisis last July - A/C died in the middle of a heat wave. We called several vendors; Spartan Heating and Air was at our house in less than a week with a quote, and the new unit was installed roughly two weeks after the first phone call, which is crazy fast in this industry. The new unit works great. Professional, very polite, answered all our questions and took time to educate us in the basics of home A/C.
Had a new water heater installed and couldn’t be happier with the job Nick and James completed. Before the instal, Nick was in contact to update me on when parts would arrive and when he would be there. Showed up on time, let me know the time frame needed, and was true to his word. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Cleaned up afterwards as well. Will definitely be using Spartan for all future needs and I suggest you do too!

My 27 year old furnace broke down, and the guys at Spartan Heating yanked it out of my basement, and did a new Installation. The owner of the company came out to do an estimate for the job, and was polite and professional. He was also straight to the point on what my options were, explained everything so I could understand, and quoted me on the several different installations. Once they preformed the installation, it took them roughly 3 hours to complete, and that included staging to have an A/C unit installed down the line. Overall I'm very satisfied with my experience, and I would recommend Spartan Heating and Air to anyone looking for HVAC services in Toledo.
Nick was professional and courteous at all times. From first inspecting the furnace to replacing it a year later. He took the time to explain every aspect of the job and advice on how to keep the furnace running at optimal performance. Never tried any up sale tactics, just straight forward options we felt most comfortable with. In today’s economic times, any home improvement can be costly. But Nick will shake your hand and look you in the eye and give you honest answers about pricing, installation, and scheduling. We’ll be calling him back for the central air addition later next spring. Heating a home is no joke. Spartan has our trust and confidence. Nick and his team were awesome. Our furnace went out and we had a new system installed three days after we called. He even loaned us space heaters to use for our house to use in the meantime. Very timely and professional; we would recommend them to anybody who needs any HVAC service.
Nick was great to work with. We called Spartan to get a second opinion on replacing our HVAC system and he was so helpful. He took the time to walk us through all of our options and what each step of the process looked like. He was transparent when there was a delay with receiving the parts, but got us a portable AC unit to tide us over during a heat wave while our central unit was down. His whole team was prompt and professional, and we will gladly work with Spartan again in the future.
My A/C unit stopped working right at the beginning of the August heat wave . I called Spartan , Nick was very quick in returning my call and was out promptly to give me a quote on new furnace A/C install . After we agreed on cost , he ordered both units . He was right on time when they came to tear out / install new system . Nick was very professional , took time to answer every question , gave me a few pointers and did EXCEPTIONALLY GREAT WORK ! Everything was installed very neat , well planned and adapted to the existing ductwork flawlessly !!! Will , his helper was just as friendly and did exceptionally great work as well . Wendy was amazing , took care of the paperwork and financial part and was super nice as well ! If you are needing heating / AC work done , consider Spartan , I am very happy with them and I am sure you will be also !!!!
