I personally had a very good experience with the service I received from Olmsted Heating & Cooling. Three months ago they installed a new furnace and hot water tank all on the same day. They also just serviced my AC unit. They are honest and very reasonably priced. The worker, who did all the work for both jobs, was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He did also ask if I had any questions or concerns before he left. I appreciate the good, old-fashioned service without any hassles.

We had our furnace serviced due to it not working, and ended up having a new one installed. Everyone explained all of our options thoroughly and did a great job installing and making sure everything was working correctly. Very prompt phone calls back, and they offered to bring over space heaters if we needed them while we didn’t have heat.
I called Olmsted heating and cooling to check out air conditioner unit, check out why hot water tank had moisture coming from top and to service furnace. Absolutely disappointed in the service. First guy (supervisor) showed up and didn’t have the proper stuff for the job literally was here for less than two minutes looked at the equipment and left and said that his partner would be here to do the job. Just felt like one hand wasn’t talking to the other. The other guy shows up and asked what needed to be done. I advised him that the other gentleman had not done anything literally was here for less than two minutes. Everything needed to be looked at and completed. 2nd guy service the air conditioner but then had stated that he didn’t have some tools or something when he was servicing the air conditioner. He had to call to make sure that he was servicing it correctly because he didn’t know what the gauge levels needed to be at! After he completed air conditioner I asked about payment and he said that the office would be in contact to have someone come and service the other equipment because he didn’t have the proper equipment for the job. Waited for weeks and even called and left a message nobody returned a call or even attempted to come and service the rest of our equipment. Received a bill in the mail and felt very blindsided because the service was never completed. If you need service I highly recommend you go somewhere else because Olmsted heating and cooling is just an utter clown Circus act.
Very professional work done in a timely manner. The heating and A/C systems are a great value.

I bought new House in 2019 at that time i didn’t check my HVAC is working or not as soon as summer is coming and i turn it on and its not working properly i call olmsted heating and cooling they inspect my entire home 2 to 3 times and they recommended brand new Air conditioning system and perfectly installed very reasonable price and after that its working great very nice service and good staff knowledgeable all people

Horrible experience with this company. We scheduled an appointment for 9 - 11 and no one showed up or called. Then, we called at 12 and were told the appointment was rescheduled for 12:30, unbeknownst to us. Since this time conflicted with a medical appointment I had to leave work and rush home. Guess what? No one came or called! We called again! Then we were told 1 - 2! Again, no one showed or called. I waited until 2:45 and called again. This time I was told the Tech would call me in 30 minutes. When I asked why he would be calling I was told "I don't know, that's what the guy told me. " I waited until 4pm and then just called another company. We never heard from them and they had my number and my wife's. Finally, the tech shows up at my house (again, no call or contact) at 5:30? No thanks, you guys are terrible. Horrible service, no communication, unprofessional, and they strung us along all day! Never again. Don't even waste your time on an estimate. Ifi could give 0 stars, I would. Angie's list has 8 reviews with an average of 1.5 stars currently. Do not give money to these people. Regarding the response from the owner: We WERE scheduled. We called on Thursday and were scheduled for Friday from 9am - 11am. It's ridiculous that you would lie in response to my review which is 100% true. This was my first experience with your company and it will surely be my last. What kind of company argues with their customers when they tell them they had a horrible experience? If you were told the story you stated in your response, you were lied to. Why would I make that up?

Tried to call multiple times to service my ac unit and not only is the 24 hour emergency number disconnected, I can't get anyone on their listed number. I'm not even sure if this place is still open. You can't do business without a working phone number.
Had an appointment with this company for a humidifier installation. No one showed. No one called. I finally called and was told he was still coming but running late, would be there between 1-2. Again, no one called and no one showed. Update - The owner of the company contacted me the next business day and offered apologies and a discount on the service. I decided to give them a second chance and my second experience was much better. Service was on time and as expected.
The owner went above and beyond to assist me with finding a part that I needed to complete my own furnace repair! Great customer service!

Can't say enough about Ed and his crew they were wonderful I had both my hot water tank and my heat go out within a couple of days of each other they gave me portable heaters to use so I had some heat until they got mine up and running They installed the new hot water tank and worked endlessly on my hot water heating system until it was working like it should. They were very professional and did a great job. Would highly recommend them
