Contacted them shortly before closing on a Friday night. We were in process of getting my father in law's house ready for him to come home on hospice. AC wasn't working and we were worried about heat and humidity in his final days. South arrived within 30 minutes.. He happened to be near the area...he spent an hour or so fixing a broken part and recharging the unit. We were extremely impressed by his quickness to respond and his professionalism! Highly recommend!
This place is a joke. Charged a fortune for a job that didn’t fully fix the problem. Then wouldn’t return my calls. Once he did he wanted paid again to “fix” the issue again. No one way. Far more honest and reliable companies out there.
I just wish I could this give business a negative star. Very unprofessional. They serviced an oil furnace, a week later a leak arose that wasn't previously there. I called and emailed to see if they would stop out to rectify the matter....no response. I'm fairly certain they went as far to block my number so I would stop calling. 0/5 would not recommend, hopefully this poor business practice will lead to their demise. Frustrated.
At FIRST I was impressed with South HOWEVER, After $1000 over 3 months and a replaced part....... I HAVE NO HEAT They do not return my call. Looks like they may scam senior citizens. BEWARE I'm so disappointed in these people.

We were without heat for 24 hours and couldn't figure out how to fix it. I called South and they had David there within an hour and he got right to work. We had a blown fuse which he fixed quickly! He was so courteous while he was there and very professional! He replaced the fuse and checked the rest of the furnace to make sure there were no other problems and got the furnace up and running again! There's also an app they use where you can message the person directly as well! I had another concern and David got right back with me and offered to come back and take another look but we found out my daughter had stuffed some stuffed animals in the return vent and that's why not much air was blowing out lol. I highly recommend this company to anyone! Their prices are very affordable as well! I was very worried about having a huge bill as he came after normal business hours and that wasn't the case. Especially with this being the holidays and we are a family of 5 that still struggles to make ends meet this was so nice to not have a huge bill!! Thank you again David and South Heating and Cooling for everything! We will be returning for sure!
Ryan has came to my house on the three times on a weekend and has been great with figuring out what is wrong with my ac. Wouldn't have anyone else work on it. Keep up the great work
Ryan and his team are amazing. They are honest, knowledgeable, kind and patient. They saved us from the heat right before our open house on a weekend. I am so pleased with their service. I definitely recommend them!
I called South heating and cooling when I was having problems with my air conditioner. Ryan and David came out the same day that I called them and troubleshot the problem. With in a day they had the parts they needed and came back out and got our air conditioning back up and running at its best! Ryan and David were very professional and very informative. It was always a pleasure to talk to their secretary Debbie. She was very helpful and very pleasant. I would highly recommend South heating and cooling to anyone who wants an honest and hard working company to fix their HVAC needs! I can't say enough about their professionalism and customer service! I will definitely be calling them again if I have anymore issues. Thank you for a great experience!
I've used South Heating and Cooling for a few jobs already and I am very satisfied with everything. Ryan (owner) goes above and beyond and personally inspects everything. He is honest and will tell you straight up what is the best thing to do. Not what is going to make him the most money

I put an inquiry on their site late on a Tuesday night, about 10:00 PM. I woke up in the morning to an email I'd received at around midnight from "Jereme" telling me to call him. This gave me high expectations for good customer service. So before i started work i called, this was at 6:40 AM and his phone was off which is understandable. (And no voice mail set up) i called again at 9:30 and 12:30 on my break and lunch, still no answer. After work i called two more times at 5:30 and 6:45 with still no answer. (My last call was ignored as well) I don't normally write reviews but with the excellent reviews i was expecting better than the experience i had. I get he may have been working,i get he was probably busy but here it is now 9:00 PM and still no response. Who knows what the reason is but you can't say he hasn't had a single minute to call me back all day or answer one of my calls and tell me he'll call back instead of ignoring it,if he was going to do that he should have never responded to my inquiry. But anyways i took my business elsewhere. Be weary. UPDATE: I received a call from the person that set up the website. There was apparently a mix up in which department my inquiry was sent to, it was not part of the heating and cooling department. They went out of their way to clear up any confusion and based on previous reviews South heating and cooling will be the first people i call for future needs. Sorry about the misunderstanding.
These guys did a great job at explaining everything even as issues arose yesterday! And kept me informed! Very professional! My home is now cool!!!
They came out saturday night fixed it right. They had the part on there van charged me a fair price and it was fixed right and would tell anyone to use them because I had a nother company out a week before and they didn't fix it right and charged more and they came on a Thursday at 2 and South heating came out Saturday around 8pm and fixed the samething they thing but right and affordable. Would recommend them to anybody at least call them and if you ever come out once you'll never use no one else Thanks Ryan your the best
Ryan, the owner of South Heating & Cooling LLC, came to our house in Logan, OH, to fix our A/C unit. He even came out after normal business hours!!! Ryan was kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable. When the times comes for us to get a more efficient heating/cooling system- we will be calling South Heating & Cooling!!!

they where on time and very professional. They came did there jog and charged me a very fair price. they fixed it in one trip and had a new filter on there van to an my filter is hard to find. will use them again and everyone should. Thanks guys its so warm in here
Called in and got help in less than a hour. Problem was fixed in a matter of minutes and the owner was incredibly nice.
They came out at 11 at night and repaired it right then and was cheaper than I thought. I would recommend them to anyone. Nice good price and on time. Thanks ryan
