This is the second time I’ve used Quality Mechanical Services. On both occasions they worked me in for same day service & got the job done in a timely manner. The staff was polite & very professional.
David was great helping this 'damsel in ditress'. My AC is up and chilling.

Overcharged for services and didn't honor their quote. The mother board went out on the Furnace, and we ended up replacing it completely with a new model. Once they started working, they found an additional problem of an rusty coil going to the Central Air unit. When this was replace it caused additional issues with the Central air unit needing full replacement. All in all we should have just called another company that knew what they were doing, and not been unnecessary extra charges. I wouldn't recommend there used car salesmen approach. The accounting department is also very disorganized and included extra charges that we finally just gave up and paid. We will Never do service with them again, and wouldn't recommend them to our worst enemy.

Best place to get your HVAC systems. I have been a customer for 20 years. They have installed 4 systems for me all with yearly service contracts. Great peace of mind knowing QMS is standing by ready to service On a moments notice. Thanks Quality!!

Furnace stopped working. QMS came out tapped on the gas valve with the back of a screw driver, and said yup... gas valve is bad. I went to town installed the gas valve.. same problem. I called them back. And the tech was back in the office, I talked to him over the phone. He says I went to the next house after yours and same problem you were having, it wasn't the gas valve it was the circuit board. I called degraff plumbing out we troubleshot for an 1 1/2 hr and it was the pressure switch.. Degraff charged me $116 for labor, I bought the parts. Just got the bill for these jokers to slap a valve with a screw driver for 5 mins. $151.25. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Mike T. Was very rude and condescending. I had a furnace and AC quote done by him. Tried to explain what I needed. ( Yes I know a bit about this stuff) .first he stated there was no way to put my furnace where I wanted it. Ok??? Funny Jay said it wouldn't be an issue. And actually liked the idea . Especially considering that meant you didn't have to lug a complete furnace into a muddy dam cellar and through a small hole. Tried to inform me he couldn't put the cold air intake where needed. Mike it's a downflow the cold air intake is at the top. So put it straight through wall. Anyway, I let it slide he goes downstairs to see. Crawls arounds and looks . Basically refuses to answer any of my questions. I wanted a quote for tankless water heater. He looked at mine and informed me it was leaking and needs replaced. Does it need replacing...yes. but instead of being honest about the true issue (which was pressure relief valve leaking by) he told me it was the tank. (Again not a dummy). I informed him I didn't want to pay $2500 for one he said it would be more. Anyways I get the quote it stated the AC unit was $311. That didn't sound right. So I emailed to see if he included that. In all caps. He informed me the unit was $3115. I also asked what a tank hot water heater was . $875 . But the part that gets me is he didn't even include any ducting. He was actually gonna reuse my old plenum. That thing is shot. So my quote for over $6000 doesn't even include a new plenum, lineset anything. The quote I got from Jay last year was damn near the same just a little more. Included new plenum, also my furnace was gonna be where I wanted it. Funny part is had I felt with Jay I probably would have paid more to have this done. Even if it couldn't be where I wanted. But I had decided once Mike left the house I wasn't using quality mechanical I'd rather do it myself. Being in small town in Kenton ohio it's hard sometimes to find people to do work . Employees are always professional and helpful, reasonable pricing. I recommend several times for new furnace installs that they completed with no issues. Great company.
Got the furnace working but took them over 2 months to simply change 2 thermal switches. Once I called and talked to Mike E. things started happening.
The salesman Mike and the installer assured me that I would not be able to hear the condensing unit run. Talked me into putting it right by our living room window to make the job easier for them. A change order could have been done to save me money. But Mike told him to put it where he told him. Unit sounds like a car starting and running. Mike's exact quote was "your wife must have exceptional hearing" so I got charged $360 more to move the unit. Installer took the lineset that I paid for when he came and eventually moved it. Then 3 weeks later the same installer is complaining to my aunt about this couple in Mt. Victory as he is working on her furnace! Very unprofessional! Harold Sexton
