We got four estimates in our search for a new heat pump system, and one "if price is a priority, I won't be the least expensive." Dave is honest and up front about what is needed vs what would be nice to have. Price was right. We are satisfied with the process start to finish.

Thermostat gave blue screen of death on a Friday afternoon. Tried original installation contractor for service without success. Then got hold of ClimateMaster wholesaler who recommended Cowboy’s. Called and talked to Dave who said he had two calls but would swing by end of day. At 6:00 PM Dave showed up, replaced my thermostat, then checked installation parameters and made recommended changes for setting that should never have been done. Now he is even trying to get a warranty reimbursement for me. When you find someone like this, you return again and again for service. I highly recommend this company especially for ClimateMaster Geothermal equipment.

Our technician was Benjamin whom was very professional, responsive and polite. Benjamin informed us about our heating issue. Provided reasonable prices. Benjamin was a pleasure to have and because of Benjamin we will definitely use Cowboys to service our A/C heating system now and in the future.

Dave,Marc,and Brad did a great job. We had to wait for quite awhile for the furnace to come in due to the virus shut down. No fault of theirs. When the unit came in they had it up and running in 1 1/2 days. They rerouted the duct work and we have a lot more room also flipped the filter opening so changing the filter is much easier. Something else they are old fashion in that a hand shake is what completed the deal. Thx Brian&Sharon
Being a slight cynic, I tend to rely more on that old saying "The proof's in the pudding!" Well what Cowboy's did for me in the installation of our geo-thermal adhered to that. Our previous system, which btw they did not install, was a mess for a couple reasons. Dave and his team totally ripped out the old system, including by-passed the convection field in the yard, and started anew. Results...exactly 50% savings on my electric bill from last year based on hard numbers over a six-month window in the dead of winter. And the icing on the proverbial cake was a 30% tax credit for 2019 installs. Not promising you'll see the savings we did but suffice it to say it'll be a marked improvement over what you have now. Dave has a computer model that he can run for you and his estimate on ours came in right on top of our actual savings. Thanks much Cowboys!!!
It has been 7 years since Cowboys installed a geothermal unit into our home in Yellow Springs. The unit has completely paid for itself in the cost savings at the end of the 7th year. If you are considering geo-thermal you should at a minimum let Cowboy's evaluate your situation before moving forward. The larger companies wanted to put in a big unit but Cowboys evaluated the insulation and determine that a small unit would work just fine. As a faculty member at Sinclair College I asked the HVAC professors about the evaluation Cowboys did on our home to determine the size of the unit. The faculty members agreed with the evaluation and design of the unit proposed by Cowboys. There was a major advantage working with a small company. The guys giving the quote are the guys doing the work. I just added a room onto my house and went back to Cowboys to set-up heating and cooling for that room. Again they figured out the best approach for HVAC. When building our home these are the only guys that signed their work because they were proud of the craftsmanship. I am sure you will not find that with any other company. Cowboys Heating and Air get's both thumbs up from our perspective.

Brad gets a job done quickly & makes it as inexpensive as possible. When we had family over for a holiday he was very accommodating. He went above & beyond our expectations.
