Thane is a great and efficient problem solver, affordable, and kind. All things that are unfortunately rare in businesses around here. If you're looking for professional service without constant upselling, this is your contractor. I've used them twice: once to fix a furnace that inexplicably kept shutting off, and again recently to deal with a disconnected duct (different houses). He sticks with it til it gets fixed!
Thaine has saved us twice! NO AC when HOT outside(85 inside)! Fast response and quick to repair. More than reasonable .. He's the BEST ever ...and we've worked with many Dayton HVAC companies!

I' thinking one of the potentially worse situations today is your heat suddenly going out in the winter or your air conditioning goes out during a heat wave and you're suddenly at the mercy of a HVAC person, eager to sell you something you may or may not need. Well, you won't see any of that with True Heating and Air. My A/C suddenly went out on a high 80's day during a heat wave. Suddenly I'm faced with the dilemma, "Who do I call to fix it?" Well, there are several big companies with a hundred or more people that can probably get you in. But my past experience with them has been, let's say, less than pleasant. The solution I chose was to check with area neighbors. As True was very highly recommended, I called them. As expected, the upcoming schedule was busy, but I was told someone could come out the next day. Shortly after, I got a call saying that someone had rescheduled and an opening had become available and someone would be there within 30 minutes, if that was acceptable. I'm certain that it took all my will to not blurt out "Hell Yes!" Owner Thaine Odom arrived and quickly determined the problem, which fortunately for me, wasn't really serious. He replaced a defective part and cleaned the coils, a task I usually do but neglected to this past Spring. He also gave me hints on preventative maintenance I should do. The heavy sales pitch and enormous bill I was expecting didn't happen. While my furnace was replaced in 2012, the A/C System is older, but using the tips I received, should last awhile. I had already had plans for HVAC work in the future, one problem is solved. I will have True Heating and Air do the work. He's professional, reasonably priced, and an excellent all-around people person. I recommend True Heating and Air very highly. I figured after researching local companies that the number of satisfied customers couldn't be wrong and I was right. To say I'm extremely satisfied with this company is an understatement. I'd give more stars if I could.
Thaine is the bomb! You won't find a more honest, skilled, or hardworking professional. If I could give him 6 stars I would!!

My old furnace quit on 7 Jan 2021 when the high temp was 37° & the low was 31°. Thaine Odom ordered a new furnace & installed it on 9 Jan. He & his co-worker arrived on time & quickly removed the old furnace. They had the new furnace installed & the work area cleaned up in a few hours. It was so good to pack my radiators away & have heat throughout the house. I highly recommend Thaine & his company, True Heating and Air Conditioning. I also use this company to service my Air Conditioner.
I rarely enjoy interacting with salespeople, but Thaine is a rare exception. Start to finish, Thaine was invested in helping us find a solution. If you're looking for a company with a customer first service model, True Heating and Air is it.
I am beyond happy to have found my forever HVAC guy! I had been using a bigger company (not to be named) for years. Well, I am glad I found Thaine because it is crucial to know that your HVAC provider is honest and operates with integrity. Heck, he even texted me after installing my system to make sure everything was ok. Just blown away with his service!
Thaine alongside his trusty sidekick Kevin were both amazing! We recently bought a home and were setup for failure due to a terrible inspection from an inspector who missed items that should have at minimum been acknowledged. With that said, our home received a brand new preferred HVAC system, a custom job to say the least, and it is awesome! Will never use anyone else, no matter the price! True will he forever our HVAC professionals!
