Have been using Barker for 11 years, before that my mom used them in same house. They are professional, prices are very reasonable. Technicians are always friendly and explain the job that was done in detail. are always friendly
The Barker techs were very knowledgeable and took their time to do the job right. They were professional, courteous, and cleaned up after the job was finished.
My furnace had finally kicked the bucket and I decided it was time to replace my HVAC system on a Thursday, and they had a technician out that afternoon to discuss my options and provide some quotes. They were very above board with their pricing and recommendations, and once I had made a decision, they had an installation team out the following day. They were able to remove the old furnace and the old A/C, as well as install the new systems in one day. The following business day, they sent a technician to adjust the blower speeds and charge the refrigerant. They were responsive, professional, and I am very pleased with the quality of the work. I would definitely recommend Barker Heating and Air.
Barker Heating and Air Conditioning installed a replacement home A/C, Furnace, and Water Heater at my home. Everyone from the Owner, the Salesperson, and All the Technicians are Friendly, Respectful, and Professional. The equipment arrived on time, installation was quick and efficient. Everything looks and works great; everything was cleaned up upon completion. I strongly recommend Barker Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone considering new or replacement home systems. Give them a call...the price is right, and the comfort is awesome.
I've had these folks come out for everything! When our heater was broken in dead of winter, to do air duct cleaning, to do the check up, and most recently too replace my ac and furnace (ughhh homeownership sucks sometimes lol). They're always professional, friendly, and do a great job. I got 3 quotes and I still went with them because they're BBB accredited, have a good reputation, and included all the because city permits and etc in their quote so I didn't have to bother with it. Love this place. And it's woman-owned! Bonus points!
We had a couple of estimates for furnace replacement and A/C installed. Barker's employees were great! I got my electric upgraded by a local company, who also installs HVAC. We chose Barker's to install ours. My grandparents owned our home. They chose Barkers to maintain the coal converted to gas furnace in their home. We did,too!
I called about my A/C unit, they sent a tech out same day. He had to get a part so it was fixed the next morning... very polite and professional!
I did not actually use Barker but they still gained me as a loyal customer. After calling around to several HVAC companies for my frozen AC during the Heatwave, I finally reached Barker who helped me over the phone with some useful tips to help me until they COULD get to me (which was asap when someone was in my area). Next week was the soonest for any other company, understandably so! I did explain to the dispatcher that I was pretty worried about my dogs and They put me on a service call list for someone to get there as soon as possible. They called me three hours later but I was at work:(! I just appreciate their willingness and making me priority in a stressful situation. Thank you!
The receptionist who took the call was super polite and professional. The technician Joe came out and was also extremely polite and professional, educated me on what was wrong and offered a solution. It was clear he was very knowledgeable and he was in and out within under an hour. Overall a wonderful experience, I'm happy to support a local company who supports me and will be calling Barker Heating and Air for my next service need.

I recently finished a whole-house renovation of a 100-year-old house and needed two new furnaces installed. Matt and his team walked me through what needed to be done, showed up on time, and cleaned up as if they were never there. They even handled the rebates with CenterPoint Energy. They made a big job easy.
We have a 120 year old Victorian home that we converted from an upstairs/downstairs duplex to single family and needed to add A/C to the upstairs this past spring. We had quotes from several contractors in town that were all very high because of our "old house with unusual needs". Barker came out, did a thorough inspection and told us we didn't need many of the extras the others were including in their quote. And that the size of the system they were recommending was larger than we needed. We decided to go with Barker, and we are so glad we did. The new A/C system kept our upstairs nice and cool all summer without blowing up our utility bills. And the total was about 40% less than the other quotes we received. We couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend them.
First time ever for cleaning air ducts and they were very professional and were respectful of my property. They explained what they were going to do and I was very pleased with their service.
A breath of fresh air! My sequence of events with Logan Service to fix or replace the air conditioning at my residents: 7/20/2021: Called to make Appt. 7/21: Ryan Johnson came and assessed my needs, explained everything and gave me a quote. (Not the cheapest) 7/23. Clay Nippert and Eli Archer installed my new a/c! NO service charge!! (I paid almost $200 in service charges with two other companies), Everyone was on time, pleasant, looked professional and was on time and no BS! Was having issues with a new thermostat. He was very knowledgeable and was able to fix the problems with the previous wiring job.
I called to have someone come out to look at my air unit cause I wanted it replaced and talked to a lady and she said someone would call me ASAP that was 2 weeks ago and still no phone call.
Joe was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I'm a small business owner responsible for the HVAC for my office, and its something I don't know much about. As you can imagine, when there is a problem with your office HVAC in the middle of winter, that can be a big deal. Joe came out, answered every single question in a way I could understand, explained my options and was fast an efficient. Very happy to do business with this company now and in the future!
Great technicians. Very professional and knowledgeable. Reasonably priced, they have never tacked on surcharges to my bill.
