Dan at Valish Heating and Cooling was excellent! We had an issue with our Air Conditioner, it had a leak. Instead of persisting that we buy a new unit, he took the time to check the whole unit and found the leak, added more refrigerant and fixed the leak!! I would recommend this company!
He came right away, fixed our heating in a short amount of time, and was very professional. He went above and beyond in answering our questions and explaining how our current system worked in good detail-much more than any other technicians have before.
2020: Had Matt out today to fix my boiler ! What a great guy. Went over and beyond for me to make sure every little thing that could go wrong in the dead of winter would not happen ! I'm very impressive with him and the work he did . I will only use Vallish heating and cooling from now on . Thank you so much. 2023: Today had to call them out for a last minute emergency and Dan came when he said he would. If you're looking for genuine, honest, over and beyond, hardworking individuals to do your AC or heating problems, look no further because you've found the best. Very, VERY professional. Thank you once again. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Had Matt out at our new house this week to repair some leaks and give our system a 'health check' - It was a really great experience, he was knowledgeable, friendly, gave loads of advice, did the work quickly and charged a very fair price for his time. The largest company in Akron turned us away as they didn't have any technicians for a boiler, but I'll stay with Vallish now for sure! Thanks for helping us out!
Matt Vallish came out and inspected our mini-split unit which had been installed incorrectly by previous contractors, and was running incorrectly because of their errors. He was professional, HIGHLY knowledgeable, and fair. My best friend happened to be visiting during his appointment and said he had just installed their system and had nothing but amazing things to say as well. I will definitely be using Vallish Heating & A/C for ALL of our HVAC service needs from now on!
Let's be real, nobody knows what you're getting when you make that furnace/ac repair call. This is an honest, trustworthy family run business. No regrets whatsoever

I have called on Vallish Heating and Cooling for many (almost 30) years. Both Matt and Dan are professional and excellent, yet easygoing enough that I really enjoy having them at the house. They let me follow along and learn a bit as they work. This is a family business run by a nice, humorous, and superbly competent family.
Came the next morning after my evening call. Matt fixed the A/C for a reasonable cost. Great service.
Hands down the best HVAC company I’ve ever worked with. We bought a 92 year old house and needed to add HVAC to half of it. Dan came out and assessed the situation and recommended we go with traditional HVAC as opposed to a ductless mini-split system. He then proceeded to design and custom build an entire system for our home. He has incredible attention to detail and was also kind enough to help us deal with some issues we had with another HVAC company. I will never trust the work on my HVAC to any other company besides Vallish - the absolute best!!

Fabulous work! I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this company. I was given the name of this company from a friend who had used them before. I got a quick reply from Dan. He called 30 minutes before showing up, showed up on time and went straight to work. He diagnosed the problem quickly. He replaced a starter and fan on my 32 year old Train air conditioning unit. He had the parts in his truck! He was done from start to finish in under one hour. I had some other company come out the 2 days before. He just sat and listened for the unit to make 'the noise' again. The technician did absolutely nothing with the A/C unit the first day. I had more trouble after I returned from work the 2nd day, called them back and they wanted to reschedule me for another day! I had already taken off work early the first day to meet them, who didn't show up until 1.5 hours after they were scheduled. The same tech came out. DId nothing again - meaning he did NOT even touch my air conditioning unit and told me that it was the compressor. I asked him how he knew that without even opening the unit or using any gauges. Unbelievable. I will always come back to Vallish and highly recommend them to ALL my friends! Thanks again Dan!
I live in a 90-year-old home. I had one air conditioning installer tell me that my home would be too difficult to install AC and opted out. I had others quote extremely high prices due to the layout of my home (no duct work, currently have a boiler system, had addition added to the home). But Matt Vallish came in and did a thorough assessment of the house and had some creative ideas for installing an AC system. The system that he installed looks great. He was timely and offered a very fair price. I've had the units in my house now for almost a year and everything works well.
Came out and quickly repaired our furnace. Will recommend to friends and family.

We have had wonderful experiences with Matt Vallish after hiring them for a furnace tune up and some subsequent repairs. We had an issue about a month later where the heat went out from no fault of their own. The answering service and return phone call from Matt was prompt and he was able to come out and restore heat within an hour. We will only be using them from now on!
