Costco has a Heating and AC partnership with Lennox . I signed up at Costco TWICE Schmidt Heating sent a representative out TWICE to give me an estimate on replacing my 25+ year old HVAC system .... the first time was in March and they just ghosted me... so i signed up again.. got another appointment to get an estimate... that was seven days ago.. and THEY HAVE NOT GIVEN ME AN ESTIMATE..... i WOULD NEVER use this company...... if they do such a poor job of getting an estimate to you..... image how they would be after you actually paid them for a service...RIDICULOUS...

The two knowledgeable men from Schmidt worked quickly and they were friendly. The company has always been quick in response over the last 26 years -- with the service, inspections and equipment,. On Friday Night of a holiday weekend my AC unit went out. This system is only 4 months old. The installation Company advertised emergency hours. I called immediately expecting a phone call back in the morning. Nothing By Sunday Had given up and the house was becoming uncomfortable. I called several local companies that advertised emergency repairs. The first three did not answer and have still not returned my call and it’s now Tuesday 😂. When I called Schmidt A polite lady answered on the first ring and said we can help you.. This is a Sunday mind you! She told me she would have a Technician call me. Less then 5 min later the phone rang. A gentleman named Mark asked me what was the problem. I told him the basics. In a two minute conversation he was able to describe what to look for in my unit diagnosed the problem over phone and I was able to fix it temporarily till I could get ahold of my contractor and fix it under warranty. This company’s actions this weekend will make me gladly call them in the future when I have a service Issue. Mainly because they were the only ones on a holiday weekend that had my back when I needed help. Words cannot describe how much I appreciate your help. A business ran in this manor is hard to find in today’s world I definitely recommend them!

The guys showed up to install a new AC unit in the attic. Originally thought they would have to cut a larger hole, but were able to remove the house fan and go through there. They were awesome! Any mess they made was cleaned up as the only sign they were there was the new unit and thermostat. Highly recommend to have the crew at Schmidt Heating and Cooling for any HVAC needs!

I contacted Schmidt to do a diagnostic on our radiant floor heating system that was not working. I was told I had to pay for the service call and the "expert fee" to send someone to my house, which seemed fair considering this was not a typical job. The technician came to our house and was very knowledgeable about our system and said someone would follow up with me on further steps to take to get it working again and a quote for such services. That was back in December and I have since called them four times and have yet to have anyone return my call. Very frustrated I paid $120 to have an expert come to my house to tell me something I already knew and then the company make absolutely no effort to follow up as promised. Although I was happy with the technician's skill I still would not recommend this company. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I paid for a service and have been asking for a simple quote for four months and continue to get no response.

I was having a “loud sound” coming from my outside unit only when the temperature dropped below 30. My heat wasn’t kicking over to oil heat either. I called another place prior to Schmidt’s. They came out, spent a total of 15 minutes at my house, told me everything was running correctly, and charged me $207! Needless to say, I called Schmidt’s up yesterday, and Mark came out today, spent 2 1/2 hours, and was able to diagnose the problem(s). I need a new shroud and my timer for defrost was set on 90 minutes instead of 30. Mark was EXCELLENT. He explained everything, in detail, to me. He took the time to actually figure it out instead of just saying, “well, I don’t see anything amiss”. And the charge was DELIGHTFUL. I will be using them (Mark) from now on. If you want a place that will do you right, THIS IS THE PLACE. EXCELLENT JOB Schmidt’s!

Research the Better Business Bureau - Buyer beware. Left details through Schmidt's website. Set up a day and time range through email. After that, nothing. The day of, I checked email and thought I had not responded to a question on timing when in fact i had already responded - twice. Time was set for 10am to 2pm. Came and gone, then got an email saying "we have you down for tomorrow." Okay, one day wasted that I could have had someone address my issue. I emailed back, sounds good, what time? Again, nothing. No response. Have no idea if they are showing up or not. Update: No call was made until the second day (TODAY). It was one call, that was returned within 10 minutes. You've stiffed me one day. If you're stiffing me for a second day, you can owe me $120 in small claims court. You'll pay me $60 for stiffing me yesterday and you'll pay me $60 for the frustration caused today! Plus court and legal fees.
