Not impressed. Young kid came out and tried to convince me that the problem was my condensation pump even though the safety float switch and thermostat were working. He then tried to sell me a new one for $350 dollars even though I showed him the exact same model on Amazon for $55 bucks. He unplugged and blew into 2 hoses inside the heater and left. $125 trip charge and $50 labor charge. Felt like I got ripped off. I ended up buying a new condensation pump anyways and after that didn’t fix the issue I started tinkering around inside the unit. I ended up finding a clogged drain coming from the central “fan thing” pulling in air. I think it was retaining water and stalling out. I had no idea what I was looking at, but decided to give it a try before having the 21 year old con-artist come back out. 3/5 stars. I think I just had an inexperienced or dishonest tech. My father had them come out and had a great things to say about the company. I would suggest that if you hire them, you ask for one of their more experienced service techs to come out. Good luck!

So me and my wife just bought our first home. Similar to other home owners we really didn’t know much about central air conditioning. So when we started having problems cooling the house down we needed to find help. These guys deserve an A+++ First thing first is the communication. I didn’t have a problem getting through to anyone, and I didn’t have to wait or be transferred. The technician was very professional and well groomed I’ll add. He was name was Nick, he called me before arriving and even gave me some cushion time because I was just headed home. Soon as I got home. He went immediately to work. Showed me the problem and had my home back cool within an HOUR !! Ladies and Gentlemen I can not make this up! It was back running cool within an hour! Price was unbeatable and I’m happy all the way around! The only con about the guy was that, he didn’t have a business card for me. I wouldn’t mind giving his card to one of my buddies in the future when they have ac problems. I might not remember the company name off the top of my head. But I’ll know I have a company card either on the fridge or in my wallet to hand out. Thanks again guys and good luck Nick on your future adventures!

I have used Reading Heating and Air Conditioning for over 10 years. I purchased both my AC and Furnace thought them and have all tune ups with them. They are very responsive and always friendly.
Quick response for lost of heat. I have had Reading Heat service and replace my furnaces and AC over the last 30 years. They stand behind their work even when the repairs don’t go perfectly. They work to correct the problem. Courteous and professional. Family business.

I contacted Reading Heating and Air after having an absolutely awful experience with a”highly” rated Kentucky company. Reading was wonderful. They listened to my concerns with inferior heating system. They were able to put my older boiler back in service allowing a better and more consistent heat throughout my home. I would recommend them and not hesitate to call on them again.
The repair man was knowledgeable, on time, and fixed my issue. I'm so glad I called this company.

Excellent service and arrived before their scheduled time
I needed a new HVAC and called Reading Heating & Air so I could have multiple quotes. They came out the same day and got the quote back to me the next. For the equivalent system as what I had other quotes for they came in well under on price and offered a better warranty. When I told them I wanted to replace it they were out to install it the following week. I had no issues with the installation or service and they showed up right on time everyday. The only minor issue with the install was it took an extra day because they realized they had to some extra work that wasn't planned and didn't have the materials with them to do it. However, they didn't charge me any extra and they had everything finished and cleaned up all everything. I've had the system for almost a year now without any issues. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done.
