If I could give more stars I would! Rick was on-time (during a very busy season), professional, and repaired our unit promptly! Another company came out yesterday and didn't even attempt a repair--Only gave us a quote for a new unit with no consideration of a repair. Rick came in, diagnosed the problem, made the repair and was out the door within an hour. We are so thankful that there are still honest companies servicing the area! Thanks Rick!

We discovered an issue with our AC late yesterday evening. I called and spoke to Angela this morning and she scheduled an appointment for early this afternoon. Tim came out and checked out our unit and was able to fix everything for us in a few hours. I can not say enough how wonderful both Angela and Tim were to work with! I will definitely be recommending them to all of my friends and family.

Call them for HVAC! I have been doing a lot of work to my house lately, and have been dealing with contractors and companies of all kinds. I honestly wish Rick (the owner) and his company did more than HVAC. They’re the best company I’ve ever dealt with, no matter what the trade. I had a leak issue with a secondary system caused by a roof replacement and they offered to come out asap. Tim came out, discussed the options, and I decided it wasn’t worth fixing what I currently had. I opted to replace and upgrade. It was the best decision I ever made. Rick then came out, listened to my thoughts, and we discussed several options. He offered me some good systems from Daikin, but for aesthetic reasons only I went with a system from LG. He said he was able to install it, and off we went! I was not as concerned about price, as long as it was reasonable for the amount of work, and more importantly for me, it looked good and worked well. I wasn’t looking for the “cheap job". Sometimes that’s appropriate, but this time I was looking to pay a professional for a professional job. Install is 80% people, 20% parts. Rick and his crew are 100% in all aspects. I’m also a bit of a particular person sometimes, and Rick was easily able to accommodate. I always felt like I was part of the conversation. For better or worse, I was able to be home every day of the install process. I was curious what they were doing. I would sometimes watch and take pictures, but they never made me feel like I was a bother. For a while I had also been thinking of replacing my 25 year old main unit. I’ve been living in this house for 6 years, and when I moved in I knew it might need replacement soon. Initially l planned to wait a year and maybe do it next year - it worked well and had no issues, unlike the roof unit. But I’m not the kind of person to wait for an emergency. Things always break when you need them most. So while he was here I asked Rick to give me some options for replacing it too, but that I

I have been a customer of My Heating and Cooling Company for the past 17 years. They have installed a complete HVAC system in each of the homes I and my wife have occupied in that time, the 2nd system having just been completed. This most recent system is a sophisticated state of the art high efficiency system which includes a smart thermometer allowing remote operation of our system. In addition, Mr Lane thoroughly evaluated our ductwork and recommended necessary changes to improve the efficiency and comfort provided by the system. This included rerouting some ductwork, insulating previously uninsulated ductwork and installing an attic fan. Throughout my interactions with the members of the My Heating and Cooling team I have always been impressed by their professionalism, knowledge, and competence. They have always been prompt and have consistently gone the extra mile to ensure that the components they've installed perform exactly as specified. They have taken the time to explain the pros and cons of each HVAC option in a friendly and knowledgeable manner without conveying a hint of sales pressure. I have no reservation in giving them the best recommendation I can.

I have been a customer for over 9 years. Now there is new ownership. I called for service. They arrived the next day, and soon found what they believed to be the issue. Needed testing to confirm; they were correct and a part was ordered. Still had issues and in a short story, it turned out to be a manufacture's issue. It took a few trips, but each time Tim was a TRUE professional. (So, good people of Columbus, I have no cat story!!!) On the last day, the owner also showed up. Found out by asking questions he was in the service, so, again, thanks for your service. The bottom line: would I recommend My Heating and Cooling. You bet I will. I always feel lucky when I get that good feeling that the company I am dealing with is honest and proud of their work. This is a good, old fashion family company, so if their service department is so outstanding, can you imagine how at ease and with peace of mind it would be dealing with their sales department. Will I do business with this company again? Absolutely, in a New York minute!!!

I absolutely love this company. My AC wasn't working so I called another company to come out for service. Within 10 min of being there told me I need a whole new unit as well as furnace and they were pressuring me to get it that day for the sale price of $8,000! I decided to get a few estimates before agreeing to anything and boy am I glad I did. The owner (Rick) came out to my house the next day, advised me that my unit was working fine and it was just extremely low on coolant and most likely had a leak. The following day he had his technician out, fixed the leak and replaced the coolant. They saved me thousands of dollars. Don't get me wrong he advised that I would need a new unit in the next year or two but at least now I know ahead of time and can start saving for it and you know who I'll call when I do need it. Such a honest and reasonably price company.

Yesterday evening my house temperature dropped about 10 degrees while I was busy reading a book before I felt chilly. I proceeded to check everything I could think of before giving up and looking for a heating and cooling company online. I found "My Heating and Cooling" in my neighborhood and filled out the service request on their website in the wee hours of the morning. After a long chilly night I got up this morning and found the furnace running but the temp. was only 60 deg. and shortly after 8:00 AM received a phone call telling me they would redirect a serviceman from another job to check my furnace problem. Very shortly a truck appeared in my drive and Tim Lane had the job well in hand. He explained the system operation to me and did a very thorough job of checking and adjusting everything including vacuum cleaning the inside of the furnace. The service was first class and he was very helpful and polite. I would not hesitate to call them again if needed for my 20 year old furnace and A/C.

Got my heat going in no time and then spent hours fixing our main issue. Cheaper than anyone around and did such a great job. My Wife and I have been with My Heating and Cooling for close to 10 years and have experienced nothing but the best service. The techs have come out on time and in a pinch when the unit goes down. Mike is excellent and today, Tim came out for our winter maintenance. He found a small leak in the tube from the humidifier and turned the water off before the leak would cause a potential short in the unit....a $1000 fix. He ordered the part and called me back with cost and a schedule that fits our convenience. You don't find that service from most other companies. It's the customer service provided that makes My Heating and Cooling apart from others and as a result.............#1 !!
