Highly recommended! Chris and Jeff did excellent work at a fair rate, and on top of that are extremely honest and friendly. Chris prides himself on making sure things are done right and that people are treated fairly. It's refreshing to actually find a service company/person/contractor that lives up to everything you'd hope for. We completed a partial install of two ductless mini-split units in our RV, connecting cable and power, pre-running the refrigerant lines and mounted the outdoor and indoor units (mostly, left movable). Chris and Jeff came out and handled the final copper line trims and bends needed along with adjusting indoor units based on the copper routing, vacuumed the lines, and topped off the refrigerant. It sounds simpler than it turned out being, and they handled it like true pros. Cannot recommend them enough! Chris didn't shy away from a more unique install request and challenge, and it was by no means as challenging as some interesting work he talked about handling for large companies. Whether your job is large or small, reach out to Chris and rest easy.
Chris and Jeff are awesome! They arrived on time, within 24 hours of my request, communicated in detail about the problem, and were able to have my system up and running the same day. As a woman, it’s refreshing to not be “upsold” or taken advantage of, and feel confident about the integrity of the technicians. I would absolutely recommend these guys!!

I highly recommend Ambrose Heating & Cooling. Chris Ambrose has serviced my HVAC a few times over the years. He's consistently responsive, professional and punctual. Most importantly, he's skilled and honest. This week is a great example. My downstairs heat went out. I phoned Ambrose, he called back within 30 minutes. We made an appointment, he arrived right on time. It took less than 10 minutes to diagnose the issue. Chris explained the situation and fixed it. He also said that most likely this is the last winter for the heating unit because of extensive rust. A less scrupulous company would have said "sorry, can't be fixed, time to replace the unit". What I heard from Chris was "I got it working for now but be prepared that soon it will be time". There is no question that Ambrose gets the call when it's time for replacement. Professional honesty is priceless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ambrose Heating & Cooling.
Awesome. Called for service. He arrived the same day, diagnosed the problem, drove to Raleigh for the part, and then installed it and got the unit running properly again. All in one day! Very happy with this service and will definitely use again.
Chris was awesome. He was knowledgeable, honest, prompt, professional and very reasonable. He also didnt try to sell us newer units. He said our older units were working fine. BONUS: I didnt have to put my 3 large dogs away he was totally fine with them barking at, following and begging for attention as he worked!
I have dealt with many different HVAC companies over the years and Chris is simply the only one I trust is giving me the straight scope. Honest and does great work, that is hard to beat in this Industry.

I placed a call in the afternoon after discovering the heating failed to come on and Chris was promptly my doorstep early the next morning.
