For Comfort Tech and A-Z Appliances Our 2-ton heat pump was acting up and Eanes H&A gave us a price of $6,000 to repair (with no guarantee this would fix the problem..their words). And then their price "up to $20,000" to replace the entire unit and air handler. Well I thought this was very excessive for a 2 ton heat pump and there was no way two senior citizens could afford a bill/payments on that. So we contacted Cheryl from A-Z Appliances. From DAY ONE, she made it her mission to find the heat pump equipment that would work for our small house. Working along with Comfort Tech H&A from Thomasville to assess exactly what we needed....A-Z supplying the equipment and Comfort Tech installing the new equipment and hauling away the old. If I could give both a 10 star rating, I sure would. Under $6,000 for the entire package and installation. Folks, don't walk, run to visit them if you have needs like we had. They are actually in business to HELP their customers. Other big companies could learn a lot from A-Z Appliances and Comfort Tech. Kiddos to Cheryl for going way above her job duties to help us out! And also Wayne at Comfort Tech.

I was a little bit shocked when he finished. It took less than 15 mins and he didn't change the filter or check the unit outside. Usually the techs do this. It was also pricey at 135.00 for the amount of time. I'll look elsewhere next time

The technician Steve is highly rude and unprofessional. He thinks it is okay to yell and scream at customers and then turn around and act like he didn’t after being confronted about it. Just because Steve could not get the job done correctly he took his anger out on innocent customers that were not once rude to him. As a business owner myself, I would NEVER speak to a customer like he has nor would I allow any of my employees to. Steve has a lot of anger issues he needs to deal with before stepping into another home. I am leaving this review in hopes that customers will go do business with anyone else that values them and their feelings.. because this place clearly does not!

I called on Sunday and they came out immediately. My unit was fixed within minutes and they didn't try to up-sell me on anything. Great work and fast service. Update: 8 months later I have to call comfort tech heating and air. They stated that I needed freeon but didn’t check the straighter valves on my outside unit for a leak. One week later I had another tech come out and replace it. I’m very disappointed that they didn’t actually look for any simple and obvious leaks. I will no longer be calling comfort tech.

Would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. I called them for an unexpected issue in mid February and the tech that showed up either mis-diagnosed the problem or just lied so that he wouldn't have to do any work. Paid a $75 service fee to Comfort Tech, a bill to an electrician for a bogus diagnosis and then hired a reputable company to fix the original issue that Comfort Tech missed (bad transformer). Repeated calls to the owner have gone unanswered.

***update 1/15/2018**** I want to thank Wayne and his team for standing behind the product he recommended to me. He followed thru on his warranty and surpassed my expectations. I was so frustrated with my problem, that I was ready to help pay for the problem to be fixed, just to be done with it. But Wayne was very professional and only asked me to pay for a prior service call that was still outstanding. I am thankful for this, and am hopeful this system will give me years of problem free heating and cooling as my older system did. Thank you, and sorry I have not got check in mail yet, but I will get it to you. ***update to the original review below..... Thank you very much for replying and contacting me. All your guys have been super nice to work with. I am looking forward to meeting with you next week as planned to solve our problem. Thank you so much! ***** Wayne and his crew installed my system several years ago. During the warranty period, we had to get the system recharged and were told that everything was good. Then, year after year, we have had to get the system charged about 2-3 xs per year. Within the 2nd year, we were finally told that there is definitely a leak but could not find and they put dye in the system to help locate the leak. They came back out about 6 months later when I called for another Freon refill, and they said they found the leak, and put stop leak to slow it down until part could be ordered and installed. We were advised that the system was still under warranty for parts only, even though this has been an ongoing problem since year 1 under full warranty parts and labor. The tech told us he was going to order the parts and get back with us. Going into year 4 dealing with this, I had still heard nothing back from comfortech on the new part and my system Freon was low, yet again. Maybe you ask why I have let it go for so long.....well, I usually trust what someone tells me they are going to do. Wayne is a great person,

Funny how reviews and ratings range from one total extreme to another. In the case of this particular company, maybe no one has actually researched (or asked for a second opinion) based on what these people recommended. Maybe each person who has a left a positive review for this company has money to blow without question. After the tech inspected my unit two days ago, I received a call and was told that my gas heating unit needs either a $700.00 replacement valve or the unit could/should be replaced at a cost of $1,750.00. Well, HOLD the phone!…. fast forward 20 minutes.... I called a friend who has a friend who has a friend who is a retired jack of all trades. Friend of friend of friend comes by the house and simply "bled the gas line". HUH? WOW! $80.00. As of 4pm that afternoon, my house was toasty....AND I'M HOT!!! I don't come close tolerating anyone who even TRIES to take advantage of me. G'DAY.
