While I can’t speak for the rest of the company- Marcus was extremely great to work with. He was super professional, empathetic, and just all around helpful from the second he showed up to fix our AC! He’s so knowledgeable about his trade and answered all our questions. I can’t speak highly enough of Marcus and I trust if he’s the one that shows up to help, you’re in good hands!
Absolutely terrible service, I am waiting since March. Ordered the full A/C unit changed for one of my business properties. They miscalculated how many BTU’s for the square footage of the business building. After the installation the A/C Isn’t cooling off. Call them many times with no response. Summer is here and all people inside the building are suffering with Gentry’s service. Never will use them again.

Very pleased with the work and outcome from start to finish.
We came home to a warm house. Called the 24-Hour service number and received a call back within 15 minutes. Service tech arrived within a reasonable time, diagnosed and fixed our air conditioner while here. Great service, response time and so happy to have our air on! Thanks, Gentry, for amazing service!
Excellent work installing a Mitsubishi mini split in my home. They were polite, professional and knowledgeable. I could not be more pleased.
We are extremely satisfied with the HVAC installation carried out by Gentry Service Group (Swannanoa, NC) on June 6-7, 2023, at our residence in Hendersonville, NC. Our technicians, Alex and Carson, demonstrated immense competence and professionalism. They both served as fantastic ambassadors for the Gentry brand. The preliminary quotation for a new system was acquired from Justin W., who provided careful follow-up during the installation process. We needed a new heat pump and air handler for our house. We contacted four different companies to give us a quote. Dean from Gentry was professional, extremely thorough, and we loved his color-coded quote that gave us four different options to choose from. Because of Dean, great reviews of Gentry, the Carrier products they carry, and total professionalism top to bottom we selected Gentry. They kept us in the loop, took care of the paperwork, and installed it about ten days later. Tony and Jay did an incredible job. Clean, friendly, thorough, and professional. They cleaned up perfectly and took ten minutes to go over how to program and work the new thermostat. I am writing this review to help other people. Our 17 year old heat pump was beyond repair and the cost for a new unit is substantial. We would highly recommend Gentry. Could not be more pleased. Thank you Dean, Tony, and Jay!
Giving a big shout out to Marcus Crump, a terrific tech who really took ownership of our furnace issue. He did the job that was scheduled and then when he realized we needed more done so the system would work properly, he spent the necessary time to fix that problem as well. We've used Gentry for years and they are outstanding, with another shout out to our maintenance tech Rick!

Always terrific service and cares about our property. We just had Marcus Crump here to upgrade an old furnace and he was awesome -- really took ownership of the known problem, as well as checking for additional issues and fixing them during the same visit, even though it added time to his scheduled service visit. Thank you Marcus! Always need to shout out to our maintenance tech, Rick. We continue to recommend Gentry to everyone we know.
I would definitely recommend Gentry! We had them replace our HVAC system and furnace. They were the most reasonably priced around AND could schedule us within a week. They did a wonderful job…very responsive, professional, and accountable.
Jeff did a great job servicing our unit. He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional.
A worker came to my setting and assessed the appropriateness of installing a mini split. Explanations were clear and he was courteous in answering our questions. The following week a three-person crew consisting of an electrician and two technicians arrived promptly on time. In four hours, the installation was complete. All the crew members were conscientious, courteous, and capable. The lead technician not only explained how to use the remote but had us hold it and make the commands we would be likely to use. No one was rushed. All personnel were professional. I have called on Gentry in the past and will continue to call in them in the future. They are reliable and the equipment they install and service is well-made. I am very pleased with my new mini split.
Jordan did an outstanding job for my clients. Very professional in all aspects. Completed the job in less than 5 hours and hauled away old system. Gentry is our main HVAC vendor.
