They installed a new HVAC in 2018 and did an adequate job. Today they came out to diagnose an issue with the air handler blower motor not running properly. It was still under warranty according to the quote I signed which had a five-year parts warranty on the inside air handler and ten-years on the outside condenser. The technician was very professional and friendly. He determined the capacitor for the blower motor was weak and needed to be replaced. He quoted a warranty replacement price of $226, which was for labor basically. The capacitor itself probably costs around $15 so they are charging over $200 for five minutes' worth of labor to unplug the old capacitor and plug a new one back in. That's in addition to the $89 service call, which he said covers testing of the unit, although he admitted it wouldn't be worth testing the outside condenser and refrigerant levels since the fan was not operating properly on the inside. I understand they are in business to make money but charging such an outrageous price for a simple repair for a customer who has spent money with them on a new system before is unacceptable. I will know who NOT to call for any future HVAC business and I recommend you stay away from them as well.

I had three previous plumbers who failed to diagnose and fix my kitchen sink leak. The progressive plumber figured it out in 10 minutes and was done in 10. Also I called a couple plumbers before Progressive . One said their service rep would call back and never did. The other called back 2 days after Progessive. Also the came within 24 hours. They are my go to plumbers now.

If you are looking for an all-round, exceptional service company, I recommend Progressive Service Company. I have had their annual home maintenance plan since 2018. I get two HVAC/Furnace system inspections a year, an annual electrical inspection, and an annual plumbing inspection. They are not cheap, but are good, and can catch things that will save you in the long run as well as keep your home cool, warm, bright, and flowing :-).

Chad came and diagnosed a problem with 3 electrical outlets and repaired them quickly. He explained the problem, showed me what happened to the outlets and gave me reassurance and advice. He was very easy going and friendly. The price for services was more than reasonable and if I need electrical service in the future I will call Progressive! In addition, I indicated that the problem was an emergency ( at least it was to me!) and less than 3 hours later everything was fixed! Thank you!

Excellent work. New HVAC system. Routine service. But some office snags. Have two year service contract. Never did service for first year. When I requested service they couldn’t find a record of my contract. After a day they made an appointment but confirmed for the wrong time. Eventually came at the correct time. Tech was good.

I just had a regular maintenance on a pair of new HVAC installed by Progressive Service Company. They checked the airflow and cold air register temperature that seems to be OK. It seems the technician was a bit in hurry. In general, he was OK.

6month old heat/air cond. unit failed. The company was quick enough getting here, but I wasn't impressed with the tech. The transformer was too hot to touch and probably should be replaced under the warranty. Instead the guy just put in a larger amp fuse and called it fixed. The first fuse failed so he put in a larger fuse? I guess it worked but not sure it will stay fixed. Transformer shouldn't be too hot to touch? I'm suspect. He also had put everything back in place, but forgot to put in a metal box that protects wiring. He asked if he could just leave it off so he wouldn't have to open the unit up again. I said yes because I really didn't want him to mess up the tape used to seal against air flow. The tech was friendly and he did fix the problem ...
