Luckily Joey was able to meet me today for a quote and discuss options for repair vs replacement of an attic air handler and outside unit…he let me watch and ask questions from the pull down attic steps (good opportunity to learn), Joey answered all my questions…the unit was installed in 2005 (3 story townhouse) and so we decided to replace it…Joey arranged a portable AC unit for the bedroom til our install date next week and that will work just fine! He was very professional! I especially appreciate the text message that told us a bit about Joey including his length of work in HVAC industry and his military service! That’s reassuring!!
I've heard the commercials on the radio and I really liked the straight forward no shtick approach. Travis Crawford was 1st company I called when my A/C started blowing hot air. It was after hours so it took a little more time than usual, but nothing unreasonable. Josh arrived and was super pleasant (I mention this because I've met on-call persons that are irritated to be on call) Josh diagnosed and explained everything he was doing. It was a simple repair but not cheap due to a couple factors, BUT I'm glad it was not 90+ degrees in my home anymore. I would certainly recommend this team to my friends and family.
Great company who cares about its customer before, during, and after service. As a new homeowner, I was left with an outdated aquatherm HVAC system that most companies wouldn’t touch or highballed their quotes, but not Travis Crawford. They were fair, understanding, and completed excellent work and customer service. Thanks TC!
Please see my original post below when first working with this company and DISREGARD. I am now changing a 5 star to 1 star although I wish it could be 0 or negative. As this has been a nightmare company to work with. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Here is my story: I initially had Travis Crawford come out post my home inspection (did not own property yet) due to hearing great reviews from friends. I explained the inspectors said the heating and cooling was not working. Travis Crawford came out, post my initial review, and said everything was fine. Month goes by. 2 days being in my property after closing I notice the upstairs was definitely not working. I called them back and the same tech came out and proceeded to tell me " worst case scenario, you need the whole unit replaced... it didn't happen over night" now I am was being asked to pay thousands... thousands 2 days after owning the property.... I asked to speak to GM. I then find out that they fired the tech who initially came out to my place... The tears I have shed over this experience is unreal. The negligence this company has done to me. I am 24 years old and I was extremely taken advantage by this company. It is now June/July I closed in April... and here we are. STILL NOT FIXED. Trust was broken with this company and I gave them the chance to make things right. I had other HVAC companies who (I now also did not trust because of my first interaction was with Travis and they ruined my image of all HVAC companies) this other companies I spoke to have never felt so bad for me and my experience. Travis Crawford then came out himself to my property to give me the most accurate quote. For someone who has so many commercials on trust, empathy, and "making a difference" I felt none of that while working with a single one of them. Flash forward maybe a week and I had an active leak in my system 10:30PM had to text him and he couldn't have anyone out until the morning. I said I was not waiting unt

After having an issue with a previous plumbing company that I reviewed we called Travis Crawford company. Could not be happier with them!! They came did the work and we are very happy with them. Would highly recommend them

I can't recommend this company highly enough. They really look out for the customer's best interests. Reasonable pricing, outstanding service. I've had new HVAC and water heater installations, and routine service/maintenance for a few years now, and every visit has been highly professional and respectful. No high-pressure salesmanship or rush jobs, just excellent service. Five Stars, for sure.

We had a small issue with our HVAC and called after hours on a Saturday, a tech was here first thing Sunday! He was courteous and helpful and quickly resolved the issue.
Billy was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Discovered previous heating mistakes which he brought to my attention and resolved. Although at this time we are not ready to have the heating replaced but we do know who to turn to when needed (Travis Crawford). Thank you Billy for your good service... As of June 12th Josh came out to do regular maintenance. A friendly guy and very helpful. Showed me an area of concern as well as advised me. He also helped me with a picture I needed taken while he was in the attic. Thanks again, Josh.
Travis Crawford, was singularly the most proficient and personal Business to Consumer experience I've had since moving to NC. They level with you about the situation, explaining every detail and go through every option on how to move forward and be preventative in the future. Today they have won a client for life. Thank you Josh & Joe, you guys rock!
Technician tried to sell a $14 part (conductor) for $600. We were told that the part had to have a 5 year warranty included. I asked several companies about this after he left. They said this is B.S. We were also told that the capacitor was weak and should be replaced. The company that replaced the conductor said the capacitor was fine. He showed me the numbers on his equipment. The technician also overshared. We still had to pay $89 for the diagnostic and he would not give us an estimate showing the above conductor issue with the warranty. He only reluctantly gave us the name of the conductor part. Terrible!
Our expectations have been exceeded once again by Jared. He is always on time and super friendly. We will continue to have Jared handle all of our needs as we know we can rely and depend on him. Jared @ Travis heating, cooling & plumbing is the best, barnone.
Gave me a quote for $3000 and the HVAC is only 4 years old. Got another quote for $1200. $1800 may not be much to them but that equals my mortgage payment and most of my utilities for a month. A real attempt at robbing a hard working person. I will never call Travis Crawford again.
Technician, Charles, came out to give estimate on water heater replacement. He arrived on time and was very professional. Very knowledgeable about the service I required. Great job!
After researching a few companies to repair the ductwork in my crawl space, I decided on Travis. They were responsive, incredibly communicative, reasonably priced and did a quality job. I am happy with my decision and their work.
