Kris was my technician that came to perform the service. He was very personable and professional. After calling the company the night before he came over the next day to inspect the system. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and took care to explain what was going on with our AC unit and showed me all the parts that were damaged. We explained what options we had to repair the system as well as plan for preventative maintenance to help keep similar problems from happening in the future. The repairs and cleaning were performed timely and with care. I was very impressed and look forward to having them work on my AC and furnace in the future.

I am a recent transplant here in Charlotte from NY and when I moved, I found it intriguing that my girlfriend spoke so highly of Charlotte Mechanical Technician - Kris. Once I got to meet him, I totally understood why. Kris is personable, knowledgeable, diligent, and an all-around great guy. He worked with us to find solutions for improving the air quality in our home and boy did it make a difference. I have had terrible allergies and asthma my whole life and since we made the changes Kris suggested I am breathing easier and no longer having fits of sneezing (even with my 3 cats). We've had a few vendors out to look at our furnace and AC units and all of them have been far from noteworthy of using again. Late last year our AC Unit began to rattle so we were aware that we would need to replace the almost 20 year old unit before the summer heat. We used Duke Energy rebate/referral service and had 3 vendors come out and quote upgrades. Only one was quick to respond to questions and changes, extremely honest about conditions of existing unit and ductwork and clearly highly educated in HVAC systems. That was Jacob from Charlotte Mechanical. While others were pushing for more expensive units and total replacement of ductwork, only Jacob clearly advised us on any issues with our ductwork and why or why not we would utilize 1 or 2 stage units and guided us on a solution we felt comfortable for the short and long term. install and inspections went smooth and we are now just waiting for the heat of the summer to utilize our investment. We look forward to continuing to utilizing Charlotte Mechanical for our maintenance needs in the future.

I have had HVAC problems lately and Kris was sent to my home to repair/replace my compressor and another valve. He has always been on time (or before), assesses the problem, explains what is wrong in terms I can understand, fixes the problem, then shows me the part that was replaced and explains what the function of that part is. He is always courteous and knowledgeable. A great asset to the Charlotte Mechanical team. Thanks Kris!
I highly recommend Charlotte Mechanical. I had no heat, contacted them. Kris came out on time as promised. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Kris found the problem immediately and found the part before he came out of the attic. He drove 30 away to pick up the part and returned to complete the repair and had my heat working! Reasonable prices and did a great job.
Everyone at Charlotte Mechanical is great, and we love working with Kris. He does a great job preparing our unit for the upcoming season, and when we told him our son had asthma he recommended a filter and ionizer that has made a huge difference in his breathing.
Chris is awesome. My heat went out XMas eve and he was here in an hour and had us back up and running. He also does my maintenance yearly and is so honest and professional!!
We moved to Tega Cay SC 2 years ago and were looking for a new Heat\AC place we could trust, Charlotte Mechanical is awesome. We've had our new system for almost a year and couldn't be happier! The customer service is fantastic, I highly recommend them.

Our 17 year old water heater started leaking in the garage. Had two other “big advertising” companies quote replacing. Since it is direct vent I knew it was going to be expensive but WOW!!!😳 I decided to try Duke’s energy referral service and after getting other estimates we decide to go with CLT Mechanical. They were prompt to send someone out to provide an estimate, they offered options/solutions (not excuses, cant’s… etc) and ultimately I got a bigger unit over $500 less than the other quotes. The install went smooth and very neat two days later. I would recommend contacting them should you find yourself in a pinch needing a water heater.
Repair required extensive work to track down a short between the thermostat and furnace. Kris, our technician was excellent throughout. He persisted until the repair was made, and communicated well at each step along the way. Although the repair turned out to be much more involved and time consuming than expected, Kris remained professional, demonstrating expert knowledge in his field, and exemplary customer service skills. He represented Charlotte Mechanical well, and sold us on their services and business ethics.
