Israel made the experience easy. He made a fair and honest assessment without trying to inflate or take advantage. People make the difference. When he finished his work, I signed into a maintenance contract. And he will be putting my new system in when that time comes. For now, he thankfully bought me a little more time.
Israel and the Air Carolina team are amazing!! I recommend this company above all the rest. Being 7 months pregnant and not having air over the last couple of days was not fun but Israel stepped in and saved the day. Israel and his team were quick, efficient, and professional. Air Carolinas Plus was the only HVAC company that came out the same day I inquired. He was the only business that educated us on zoning and how it would help our HVAC system. The two days that we waited to have our home serviced, Israel provided cooling units to help keep us and our home cool. No other company offered this for us. We appreciated how quickly he responded to our initial inquiry. Air Carolinas Plus also upgraded our original thermostat units to Nests. I don't think we could be more satisfied with the way Israel handled our situation. I highly recommend this business.
Israel and his team came highly recommended from a trusted contractor, so the bar was set high. He did not disappoint. He assessed the problem with our a/c and made a recommendation that would save us money in the long run. His team was able to come out to replace our a/c and convert our heating system very quickly. Once the work was done, he took the time to show us how to set up and use our new thermostats. We appreciated the diligence of Israel and his team to get the work done in a timely manner and professionally with quality workmanship. We would recommend Air Carolinas.

Absolutely great service and great quality equipment. A huge THANK YOU to Isreal and his crew. You saved us this weekend. A hot water heater and HVAC emergency all in 48 hours and you guys did it!! Every other company said the next available date to come and look would be over a week!! I cannot thank you guys enough for all the hard work on no notice at all!
I received an estimate from Israel Worek to install a heat pump line set and was quoted $1800, which included labor and materials. On the day of installation, he said he couldn't find the lineset so he asked if he could use the one I had purchased and he would refund me the $500 cost for the part. When installation was complete he said the cost would be $2000 for everything. I proceeded to ask him why, and he said he had to add $700 worth of R410a freon into the system which he said my system took 11lbs of freon. But I was confused why $1800 quote for parts and labor didn't include freon? I did not really question him about it, because he seemed honest. I proceeded to pay him for the installation. A few days later, and upon further examination of my heat pump installation manual, it said my complete system comes fully charged for up to 15ft of line set. I then asked Israel about it, and he said they emptied the freon b/c it was no good. Not sure how you tell freon is no good. Didn't know it spoils. He told him they didn't recover it, but rather empty the system into the air. I have video proof from my security cameras that they did no such thing. Isn't that an EPA violation, anyways? Why does he even have his HAVC license? Buyer Beware!!! He sounds very honest, and he tells you alot of things that he will do, but make sure you watch him! because more than likely, all the things he said he did, will probably not be done.
We had an awesome experience with Air Carolinas Plus. In an industry where many other providers are unresponsive or extremely expensive, these guys are both reasonable and quick. Would use them again in a heartbeat

Air Carolinas Plus are the GOATS of HVAC repair, seriously. After bouncing between multiple providers giving us long time lines and ridiculous quotes, my boys at Air Carolinas Plus pulled through. They secured us a new unit the day we called them and replaced it the next morning at 8AM. Other providers told us it would take weeks to get the unit.
