They were great until they fired us during a snow storm, when I had bronchitis and no heat and were maintenance customers.
In the seven years I’ve lived in the area, we have had them out three or four times. All of the issues have been less than $500 fixes, and in a few of those cases they let me know that cheaper solutions were possible, and that it made sense to start there, and then reassess. Those were all good decisions. Overall, my experience with these guys has been great. They have been prompt, and friendly. I believe they are one of the smaller shops in comparison to the large franchises, but the quality of work has been excellent. So much so, that I’m about to call about a strange hissing coming from one of the outside AC units!
The above contact number for this company goes directly to voice mail. The average turn around time for a call back from them is two days. I'm in a situation where the heat pump that they installed for me is a size too small. They put some efforts in troubleshooting it during the first summer. Now, it's two years later. The unit, still won't keep up in the summer and Climate Control Expert's way of handling me is to not return my phone calls or emails. At this point, I'm screwed out of almost $4,000.00 that I spent on installing the heat pump and I'm sweating in my house during the summer. I've never been so disrespected in my life. I was even told by Greg, the owner, that Trane wouldn't call them back and that's what they're waiting on. It took me two minutes to speak with a rep at Trane and he can't get Greg to call him back. I've left numerous messages with only one return telling me on a my voice mail that they can't take on any more work coupled with an email quoting installing a new unit at FULL PRICE!!! and no explanation. I'll be pursuing other avenues to attempt to make them pay for their incompetence and inability to accept responsibility. Their workers are great at what they do and easy to talk to. Their management and customer relations are horrible. The one and only point of contact for that is one man, Greg. After my experience... I wouldn't trust him to install a window unit. Stay away from Climate Control Experts.
