Recently my Sub-Pump failed resulting in damage to my Furnace and hot water tank. Rob Williams was concerned about the weather and was able to replace all three items in 48 hours. Fantastic service.
Having your Furnace die the week of Thanksgiving is never ideal especially when you are hosting. I called and Rob was quick to send someone out to diagnose the issue. The motor that needed to be replaced would be too costly for a Furnace that was at the end of its life anyways. So we decided to just have a new furnace installed and not worry about what would stop working next. Rob was able to get everything over and installed within 24 hours and we're back up and running for Thanksgiving. Absolutely blown away by the professionalism, affordability, and promptness. We will be using Williams and Son for all our future HVAC needs!
We have had both our furnace and AC replaced by them at different times. My greatest story is when our furnace stopped in January a few years back. I called the other companies I had worked with before. No one able to come out quickly. One said it would take two weeks. We were cold!!! I googled for someone else and found Williams and Son. They knew nothing about us. Yet, they apologized that it would take about 2 hours. They were here before 2 hours and replaced the part needed. We became warm again quickly. Thank you Williams and Son. Would never call anyone else.

I cannot say enough good things about Williams and Son Heating Contractors, Inc! Our central air was installed by another guy, and we were having problems with it even though we hadn't had it for that long. The original guy was ignoring my texts and eventually told me he "wouldn't be able to get to us". It was a sweltering 81 degrees in our house. We were dying. I called Williams and Son, and after speaking to Tammy (who was very polite and understanding), Rob was at our house in less than a half hour!! I was very grateful for such quick service! He got our house to start cooling down the same day, even though we still needed a new condenser, which was installed the following day! I recommend Williams and Son very highly!!!!
I called Rob to see about getting a central AC unit moved from the backyard to the side yard. Rob promptly came out within a day, explained the process and gave me a fair and reasonable estimate that I was happy with. He came out and moved the AC unit promptly as scheduled. He pointed out some things about the unit to watch out for in the future, but absolutely no sales pitch or pressure. A few days later, when temperatures got warm, we noticed the house getting a bit warm. Rob came out an in about 10 minutes took care of the problem at no additional charge. Works perfectly now. I would highly recommend.
I smelled gas coming out of my furnace one day and called Williams and sons. Rob came out that afternoon. He replaced the gas valve. Two hours later I smelled gas again. Called Rob he came over within hours. He replaced a joint along the pipe line. 24 hours later smelled gas again. Rob could not come out, he was traveling for his sons hockey game but had someone else at my house within hours. That man replaced the shut off valve and all the pipe and joints going into the furnace. After that NO gas smell. I leave to go about an hour and a half away. A few hours later my daughter calls the furnace will kick on not blow heat and then shut right off. Call Rob, he gets ahold of someone they come right over somehow the thermostat gets pulled out just enough it’s not making a connection with the furnace. A few hours later my daughter calls me....furnace is doing the same thing kicking on not blowing heat and shutting right off. Called Rob, now it’s Saturday at 8:00 at night he can’t get ahold of someone to come over. He calls me back says he is on his way home and will be at my house around 10:00 pm. He finds the problem immediately.......our propane tanks, which have sensors in them and relay that information to our supplier....Irish, are COMPLETELY empty. Called Irish at 10:30 at night there answering service took the information explained the circumstances they came over at 1:00 am to fill the tanks and coming back on Monday morning to try and figure out what went wrong. The reason I am writing this........Rob always answered, always came over if he couldn’t sent someone else, traveled 2 hours or so to get to my house at 10:00 at night. I will always call Williams and son for my heating and cooling and recommend them to anyone......
My furnace went out on Sunday evening it was cold out. We toughed it out with space heaters. Called Williams & Son at 10am. Rob (son) was at my house at 12:50. He diagnosed the problem (bearings in motor were shot). He returned with a replacement and installed it in under 30 min. Right before temps dropped lower and we had 2 snow storms on the way. I called Williams & Son Heating this morning because I had a major basement flood from a water main break yesterday. The fire department turned off the furnace and I wanted someone with knowledge to turn it back on and make sure it was OK. He was prompt, courteous and understanding. If I could give them six stars I would. Highly recommended.
Williams and Son is top notch! Rob is the most prompt, professional, and knowledgeable HVAC person I've every hired. I will not hesitate to call Williams and Son for my next job.
Great service
I really can't say enough about Rob from Williams & Son. I called him on Sunday night to see if he could come Monday to look at my furnace. The motor had blown. He called me back and was at the house Monday and within an hour had the motor switched out and the heat back on. Very much appreciated in the middle of winter with a storm coming.
This company will do it`s best to rip you off at every turn. Do not do business with this company unless you too enjoy getting taken advantage of. They have no idea what they are doing regarding pool heaters for sure. Drag you along until the heater is out of warranty then tell you there is nothing they can do.
