The gentlemen at Metro have been awesome each time I've called. They replaced my water heater 2 years ago and did a phenomenal job. This past weekend I went to turn on my furnace but didn't hear the tell-tale sound of it clicking on. Called Metro at 8:30am, Chuck was here at 1pm and within an hour had switched out my thermocouple with a new one and cleaned out the gas valve. Was up and running after that! He was great at answering my questions and pointing out things to keep an eye out for. Thanks again! Highly recommend!
We've all heard horror stories about various companies, but as a builder I strongly recommend Metro heating for all your HVAC needs. Prompt, reliable and extremely fair pricing. AS such I am giving them 5 stars. Thank you Metro for keeping us warm

When I bought my house in 2001 it still had the original, AC and Chrysler furnace. My boss told me about Metro Heating and Cooling. I received three estimates and MHC was 2/3 the price of the big companies who advertise heavily. They put in a great furnace and AC. They told me to have it serviced every couple years and that there was no point in a service contract. I've had the heating and ac units for 19 years now and I haven't had any issues with them. I get them cleaned and they have never done any work they they didn't tell me about up front. If you need a new heating/ac unit you are foolish not to contact MHC for a quote.
Provided excellent service. Very efficient and has the best prices around town! He didn’t give me the run around and everything went smooth. Would highly recommend.
I had metro heating do a furnace cleaning at my house. Along with the furnace cleaning they also supposedly installed what they said is a pressure switch and put in a new filter. The problem is they did not ask me if I wanted these things done. When I initially spoke with them we had agreed on having Metro Heating do a furnace clean for $70. Without my permission they charged me $253.75 and put in a pressure switch and a new filter. I already had a new filter and did not want to buy theirs and I was unaware that there was any issue with the pressure switch. If you end up using metro heating be careful that they don't do work that you do not ask for and charge you more.

Last January (2018), my furnace broke while it was about -15 Celsius outside. On the one MH&C responded quickly, made an offer, and installed the new furnace. The offer was quite overpriced but given that they were able to install the furnace within two days, I bit the bullet. Unfortunately, it took repeated email reminders and phone calls for MH&C to follow up on their promise to remove the old furnace, clean the worksite, to explain how I could apply for a tax refund (given that it was a high efficiency furnace), and to deliver a receipt. Given that I had paid upfront, this was disappointing. When the receipt arrived, it listed a thermostat that hadn't been installed (I already had one), but MH&C did not reimburse me for those costs. Upshot: the person who installed the furnace was friendly, did a great and fast job (I had not problems with the furnace since). The follow-up handling by MH&C, however, was lacking, and for that price I would have expected more.
I'm impressed with the customer service and look forward to working with Metro Heating and Chuck
Made an appointment for someone to come look at our unit on a Monday from 2-4pm. No one ever came, and no one ever called. My hasband had to call again and reschedule and no one addressed the missed appointment at all. Very disappointed.
I haven't used this contractor yet, but I got an estimate from him last year and he crushed the competition. He was also a really nice and informative guy, on time, explained things to me, and answered all of my concerns! I did not get the work done last year because I just continued to manually relight the pilot light, which kept going out, for the remainder of the year. However I am having him install the new furnace this year for sure! No more re-lighting the pilot light for me!
We had an issue with our air conditioning so I called Metro. Chuck called me right back and came down later in the day and fixed the problem. He is the nicest guy and prices are very reasonable. We had used Metro before and were very pleased so we did not hesitate to call them again. When it is time for a new furnace they will be the first ones we call. An awesome company!
