***Update*** This company installed a brand new unit that ended up being faulty and didn’t respond when I called on the warranty during dangerous heat with a baby at home. Absolutely disappointing. This was previously a 5 star review because they appeared to do good work and I wanted to help support a smaller local team but it ended up costing me an extra $2,000 just to keep my family safe after they failed to do their job or correct their mistakes.
I’m sorry that I chose this company and I’m going to pay for it! I don’t generally leave reviews unless I’m pleasantly surprised but this isn’t fair and you should be warned. This company came to my home last year and replaced my entire ac unit. Within two days it was not working and had froze over in my Basement. I reached out to their team and it was fixed. This was discouraging but I was happy to have the AC. This year around march I start trying the air conditioner on those random hot days. I noticed the air wasn’t working and reached out to the company. I was totally ignored. I called and left voicemails I was ignored. By June I decided to try emailing their company because of them not responding. I finally got a response saying they didn’t have any calls or voicemails from me. Although that’s was a blatant lie, I was fine with emailing. After getting the run around the lovely team finally made it to my home June 30th I’m not sure what they did for hours in my basement, but then they left grabbed lunch and sat in my drive way eating for about forty minutes. When I came out and asked what was going on they looked shocked to see me and said they may not be able to order a part because the store was probably closed. At this point it was 430 on a Friday and it was probably closed but not at 10am when they initially arrived. I was told I’d be serviced mo day july 3 right before the holiday. Well to no surprised Monday I got an email saying I’d be serviced and today is Thursday. We still don’t have air conditioning. At this point I may just have to pay for a new furnace and ac unit thanks to this company
Todd and his crew installed a new furnace/AC when we moved into our house 5 years. Had some issues with the heat this week and he was at my house within 2 hours. Great service and commitment to his customers. Definitely recommend

Todd and crew replaced an aging furnace for me, installed a new thermostat, humidistat, and filter box. Did a great job, very happy with the result and quality of the work. Will be calling them back when my 2nd furnace needs to be replaced.
Mr. Todd is Knowledgeable, Honest , Reliable , Caring and so Kind. He fixed the issue related to my furnace within a reasonable amount of time by providing the best and cost-effective solution. He even checked the next day or so to make sure everything was going well with the Furnace. I will be calling them again for any of our future HVAC needs! I will not think twice to recommend to all the people in my known circle. Todd goes above and beyond for his clients. Excellent job! 10/10 for me!
My A/C wasn't blowing cold air, Todd came to fix the issue and assured me there were no leaks in the system. Just a couple weeks later, same problem; warm air. I called Todd again and he promised he would take care of it. After that, he didn't show up twice, stopped answering my phone calls or responding to text messages. I would avoid this company!
First-time customer here. We had an issue with one of the dampers and They were very patient and helpful in explaining to me the different troubleshooting and diagnosing steps they took. For the repair, he showed up on time, finished the work in a reasonable time, and confirmed if we had any questions. Overall, I'm very pleased with our first interaction with them.
Knowledgeable, Honest and Reliable. In June 2022 Todd and the other guys at Berkeley installed furnace and AC for me. I got 7 estimates and Todd provided the best equipment, speedy and personalized service for the lowest price. He repaired my humidifier for $125 when his competitor was going to charge me a thousand to replace it. He also gave me good advice on related issues throughout the house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND BERKELEY.
Mr. Todd Berkeley and his team of gentlemen were awesome. They were in/out, very informative, efficent, knowledgeable, pleasant and caring. They did a very nice job installing my AC, he gave me a great deal and was very responsive. My AC unit barely makes noise, I can hear my neighbors unit over mines. I forget mines is on because it so quiet. One of the best customer service interactions I've had in a long time. He even checked the next day or so to make sure everything was going well with the AC. I felt like a human and not just a consumer. I would use him everytime! The process was easy and I had no stressful moments with this company!!! Phenomenal job! 10/10 for me! Thanks for your help!
My furnace was out of order this morning. I googled local heating and cooling companies and called each one. Berkeley was the only company that can send a technician out on the same day. Steve went above and beyond to fix the problem. Thanks!
I hired Berkeley to replace 2x furnaces in my multi-family home in Rochester. My existing furnaces were functional, but very old and in need of replacement. The great: Workmanship looks awesome. They were able to schedule my job in on short notice (< 1 week). They were able to accommodate my preferences with the installation (vent location). Efficient and clean when onsite and cleaned up everything when they were done. Also, their price was great even when compared to bids I received for lower efficiency units (they installed 96% units). Room for improvement: Communication was a bit too reactive on their end for my taste. For example, what was billed as a 1-2x day project stretched out a bit longer ~1 week from start to finish. To be clear my heat was never off for more than a couple hours, they just ran into delays with materials and schedule conflicts with their crew. Those things happen, and I understand, but I only really got updates when I inquired after waiting for someone to arrive on a handful of occasions. I would have appreciated more proactive communication on project progress/schedule delays/etc., but all said and done this was only a minor inconvenience for me. Bottom line: I would hire them again, so they get my recommendation.
Serious issue of incomplete work and non-responsiveness. My mother (81 years old) paid Berkeley to install furnace/ac unit at condo that she (and I) own in July 2019. Paid in full at time of installation (probably a mistake.) Not only has AC never worked properly but it leaked and caused damage to interior walls, ceiling and lights. Representatives have been out and promised to fix it but have not done so. Two years and issue is still unresolved, and Berkeley is not responding to phone calls or letter. Further action required.
I was skeptical at first about their service at first on Facebook due to I need to buy my own supply at the location that they recommended. So I got a good talk with Stephen that I need about his company name, experience, etc. After that, I agreed to go along with him. He and his brother in-laws were very friendly. They load up supply stuffs at the supply store, and then they followed me back to my home to install Goodman heating furnace. They installed it less than 2 hours due to my furnace was 80% efficiency. They also left unused supply for me to return as well. So that was a plus to save extra cash. Besides that, Berkeley cooling and heating is offered great price for my heating furnace. Therefore, I would recommend this small business that they can offer great service and very reasonable price as well. We had an issue that caused the furnace to shut off. The only company willing to come same day was Berkeley. Not only did they come same day, Steve and Dillon were just buttoning up the finishing touches on a new wiring system when the owner personally showed up to make sure we had heat tonight. Would recommend them to anyone with a service or installation need. Fair rates and unparalleled service

Positive, Exceeded My Expectations and then some. Your Crew Had Us Back Up and Running Quickly. They are Extremely Professional and Committed in Finishing the Job and Making Sure it's Done Right. They made me Feel as if I knew them for awhile. This was an Awesome Experience that I had with your Crew. Berkeley Heating & Cooling is our go-to HVAC service provider for over 12 years. They installed the original system in our home and have maintained it in tip top condition since. When we added a wine cellar to our dining room, Todd & Co once again provided superior service by recommending the right-sized make & model chiller. They persistently overcame several technical challenges to get the unit to work properly, making the project a huge success. Berkeley's service is a great value and they stand behind their work.
Berkeley has installed both a new furnace and a/c for us within the past few years . I can not say enough good things about Todd and his crew! Everyone we've encountered at Berkeley is honest and knowledgeable about their products. After both the furnace and a/c were installed, Todd followed up with us to make sure we were happy with everything. Our old a/c unit quit in the middle of a Saturday night. Todd was in touch with us Sunday morning right away to set up a time to come look at it! We honestly will never use another heating and cooling company again!
