We shopped around and received several estimates for central air installation. What impressed us the most about Econo-Air is Chris' mastery and expertise of air conditioning. He educated us and even pointed out areas where we could save money without sacrificing quality or performance. Other estimates were happy to over-design and sell us unnecessary equipment. Everyone on the team was professional and courteous and Angela was super-responsive. Overall we had an excellent experience and we highly recommend this company.
Chris installed a new Air Conditioning unit 10 years ago and its worked perfectly ever since. The installation was highly professional, his team did a neat and clean job and they were a pleasure to have at the house. Since then we recommended him to at least five people, all of which also raved about him! Today it went out for the first time, a minor problem, and Chris was here within the hour! THANK YOU! I can not say enough good things about the expertise, consistency and incredible service of Chris and his employees. I highly, highly recommend him for any AC installation and service!
Chris is incredible. He retrofit central air conditioning into my mid-century house that has no attic and plaster walls. He was so neat and meticulous you never even knew he was there! My home was transformed by this improvement! More recently, I needed service on my unit and Chris and his team were at my house IN UNDER 24 HOURS!! During a heat wave!! They were professional, courteous and all around fantastic. I have never had such incredible service from a vendor, especially during their busiest season. I am a customer for life
Chris is a great guy. Him and team are truly masters of their craft and very professional. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work. Chris even called me on the first hot day to make sure everything was working to my needs.
Chris and Angela are a great team at Econo Air. Just had old a/c replaced with Trane 4 ton. On time and careful installation. Crew was terrific. Excellent service.
Chris was extremely knowledgable and friendly! My AC went down during a heat wave and Chris showed up a couple hours after I called and had the unit working within minutes. Definitely worth the call.
A family member recommended EconoAir after our 20 year old Bryant central air unit and handler had broken down and required a full replacement. We called the owner Chris who came the next day with a competitive estimate and we booked him on the spot. He had the Trane unit and handler we needed in stock and came within a week for the installation. The workers that came were professional, clean and thorough. The new outside unit was carefully leveled onto a new platform pad and the workers left our home clean and neat. They also installed a new digital thermostat that we can control with our cell phones. Chris was wonderful to deal with. Everything quoted was clear and direct. The fact that everything was in stock & there was no delay waiting for parts was fantastic. He called us a few days after the installation to see how everything was & of course we were enjoying our new, quiet & efficient system. We would highly recommend EconoAir to anyone looking for central air replacement.

I just used Chris from Econo-Air to replace my old unit. He came highly recommended by many others on Nextdoor and I’m glad I used him. Econo-air is not one of those big companies with a huge overhead and office personnel (cost which gets passed on to you). It’s just him, his lovely office assistant, Angela, and his hard-working crew. I called 3 other a/c companies and found Chris to be the most reasonable, reliable, and knowledgeable. And he’s one of those ppl, if any future problems arise, he’ll be sure to fix and address any issues bc he’s old school, a man of integrity. You get a good feel from him the moment you meet him. Just a really nice guy and courteous crew. Highly recommend him!

Very positive experience. Spoke with Angela n a holiday weekend and she was Booked. However, she called me back as soon as an appointment became available. Chris showed up on time and was incredibly proficient and extremely reasonably priced. He had my system up and running properly in less than 15 mins. Very highly recommended.

If I could give Chris and Angela 6 stars I would! You could call someone else, but you'd be insane. Honest, reliable - best service call I've ever had, hands down. This is my first call from now on!
Chris has continually come through for us. He and his staff and even Angela who answers the phone line are very courteous. His work is quickly and skillfully performed and his knowledge is extensive in the field of heating and cooling. I can't say enough good things. We have had him fix our AC, add a humidifying system and most recently fix our heating system. He is very busy but keeps up with his calls. I also found his pricing to be reasonably.
Chris and his crew installed central air in our cape in Westbury in less than two days. They were prompt, efficient, professional, highly skilled, courteous and intelligent. The price was excellent. I recommend them without hesitation.
