.They charge $ 199 plus tax for first hour to diagnose problem, any repair is extra, He spent 10 minutes diagnosing & ten minutes repairing, no parts, charged $199 plus $325 for the 10 minute repair, heating unit worked for one day, afraid to let this company touch My “York heating & air conditioning system again”. I refused to pay the the $325, He left with the $199 plus tax.

Arnica was great on the initial install of our central a/c system and on annual maintenance. Simon was responsive, helpful and honest. Lisa was very helpful in setting up appointments and on ensuring documentation was covered off effectively. The maintenance work was well done and the technician was helpful in explaining what he was doing. A very good experience over last three years!

Difficult to get an appointment. The first time the technician came he left with work unfinished. Said he had to go to another customer and would reschedule. I made three other appointments to complete the work. Each time they canceled on the day of the appointment and said I needed to reschedule. I will never use them again. Michael Ashby, Manhattan.

Good people...good work I live in Manhattan and had them install a split level Mitsubishi system with 2 compressors, 2 wall mount vents and 2 ceiling cassettes (the ceiling cassettes are awesome!). I would say the install was complicated as it took some custom work to mount the compressors and all the piping was done internally (not outside). They did a great job communicating through the process. The office and installer staff were super polite, courteous and helpful. Simon worked hard to accommodate the electrician's needs and made a strong effort to keep costs down. After installation, the system needed some minor tweaks, to which they quickly fixed. Great experience and I would recommend them.

I had the original unit installed by them 5 years ago. The Mitsubishi power board malfunctioned so they have ordered, installed, and serviced it for free. Luckily I still the Mitsubishi warranty but they did all the work for free.

We were thrilled to find Arnica and recommend them without reservation. We called them on the recommendation of an HVAC distributor we had a contact with because we needed a furnace repaired or replaced. Arnica was very responsive -- called back immediately, came to look promptly, did a very exhaustive analysis of the problem, sent an extremely reasonable proposal almost immediately and answered all the questions I peppered Simone with before I signed the contract. They then scheduled the job promptly, showed up on schedule, and the guys who did the work were great -- fast, nice to deal with, and cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely call them whenever we need work done on our heating system.

Our boiler had cut off randomly on what one could argue was one of the coldest weeks of winter. I quickly googled Companies to repair boilers and same day preferably! Of the 20 companies I called Arnica offered the best price and came out the same day to do the job. The thing I appreciate most is that they were very communicative, updates on if they would be able to service me the same day, calling to give me an ETA of the serviceman, calling to see how the job was going/ if everything was to my liking. I am someone who appreciates good customer service and follow up. I also like that when the problem was bigger than my husbands assumption they didn’t force me into anything right then and there, the serviceman explained what my problem was, the next steps and cost options. I definitely believe (if need be) I will be using them again in the future.
