.They charge $ 199 plus tax for first hour to diagnose problem, any repair is extra, He spent 10 minutes diagnosing & ten minutes repairing, no parts, charged $199 plus $325 for the 10 minute repair, heating unit worked for one day, afraid to let this company touch My “York heating & air conditioning system again”. I refused to pay the the $325, He left with the $199 plus tax.
Arnica was great on the initial install of our central a/c system and on annual maintenance. Simon was responsive, helpful and honest. Lisa was very helpful in setting up appointments and on ensuring documentation was covered off effectively. The maintenance work was well done and the technician was helpful in explaining what he was doing. A very good experience over last three years!
Great company and very reliable service. A total AC installation was completed in just a few hours and the technicians were extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend.

Difficult to get an appointment. The first time the technician came he left with work unfinished. Said he had to go to another customer and would reschedule. I made three other appointments to complete the work. Each time they canceled on the day of the appointment and said I needed to reschedule. I will never use them again. Michael Ashby, Manhattan.

Good people...good work I live in Manhattan and had them install a split level Mitsubishi system with 2 compressors, 2 wall mount vents and 2 ceiling cassettes (the ceiling cassettes are awesome!). I would say the install was complicated as it took some custom work to mount the compressors and all the piping was done internally (not outside). They did a great job communicating through the process. The office and installer staff were super polite, courteous and helpful. Simon worked hard to accommodate the electrician's needs and made a strong effort to keep costs down. After installation, the system needed some minor tweaks, to which they quickly fixed. Great experience and I would recommend them.
This was my first experience with Arnica, and it was very positive. They did the work they said needed to be done, and did it in the time and cost they had estimated. No surprises. The service technician, John, was courteous and concientious. All-in-all a very satisfying experience.
I had the original unit installed by them 5 years ago. The Mitsubishi power board malfunctioned so they have ordered, installed, and serviced it for free. Luckily I still the Mitsubishi warranty but they did all the work for free.

After working with a different HVAC installer on a renovation I'm currently doing, and having them make several significant and costly mistakes, I brought in Arnica to help clean up the mess and ensure that everything was correctly installed and working properly. Neil, the installer, was highly professional and efficient, and explained everything clearly. The price was very fair. I would not hesitate at all to call Arnica for my next project.
We were thrilled to find Arnica and recommend them without reservation. We called them on the recommendation of an HVAC distributor we had a contact with because we needed a furnace repaired or replaced. Arnica was very responsive -- called back immediately, came to look promptly, did a very exhaustive analysis of the problem, sent an extremely reasonable proposal almost immediately and answered all the questions I peppered Simone with before I signed the contract. They then scheduled the job promptly, showed up on schedule, and the guys who did the work were great -- fast, nice to deal with, and cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely call them whenever we need work done on our heating system.
We had the Mitsubishi split system installed. After months of research we landed with Arnica. Simone runs a great company with top class customer service (thank you Rosette). His foreman Victor ran a tight crew of four, as we needed a condenser at the front and at the back of our house. Three days later and we had a fully functional system! Thank you for the effort and expertise.
Super good service I'm very happy with everything. Very responsive and fairly priced. I had just bought a new home and needed a replacement furnace. They came through priced it out and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Fantastic followup/followthrough and I feel very secure that our new HVAC system is going to work very well for a long time.
Our boiler had cut off randomly on what one could argue was one of the coldest weeks of winter. I quickly googled Companies to repair boilers and same day preferably! Of the 20 companies I called Arnica offered the best price and came out the same day to do the job. The thing I appreciate most is that they were very communicative, updates on if they would be able to service me the same day, calling to give me an ETA of the serviceman, calling to see how the job was going/ if everything was to my liking. I am someone who appreciates good customer service and follow up. I also like that when the problem was bigger than my husbands assumption they didn’t force me into anything right then and there, the serviceman explained what my problem was, the next steps and cost options. I definitely believe (if need be) I will be using them again in the future.
I selected Arnica to install a heating and air-conditioning system in my coop three years ago because they had the best and clearest bid. That work was performed promptly and professionally. Since the I have had them back twice to add features to the system. Each time they were prompt and did excellent work. I highly recommend them.
Love the Mitsubishi Split System that Arnica installed 3 years ago to my home and when a problem arose they came ,conquered and fixed the condensate pump (actually installed a new one with warrenty).. Neil was great. Thank you,Lori also. Call me a happy customer.
I absolutely had the best experience with the team! They were very professional, patient and kind. They were faced with many hurdles as they had to install a large system in a coop building with many rules and permits and they tackled it all wonderfully. Simon was a dream. I did not feel stress during the process. I wish I could give them 10 stars. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Arnica!
Arnica came out to my building on a weekend to help me with a broken boiler. This was an emergency situation due to the cold weather and tenants in the building that required heat and hot water. Arnica solved the problem quickly, changing a faulty relay and control unit. My boiler is up and running and I could not be happier.
