Richards was highly recommended to me by my daughter and son-in-law after they had installed a new boiler at their home. I had gotten several estimates from big name A.C. installation companies and I chose Richards and I could not be happier with my decision. John, Mike and Ryan ((Richards son) were just what I and anyone else could want to do business with. On time, did everything we covered with the contract plus little extras at no cost. Courteous, clean, quiet, knowledgeable and economical. I reccomend them highly. 5+stars.
Great customer service and went above and beyond
I was searching on google for a heating company to assist us with our heating system that stopped working a few days ago. As I began to scroll I came across Richard’s heating company and I said this seems very family oriented. I called and immediately they sent someone to my house within 2hrs. I was lucky to get the man in charge himself Richard. He did an assessment and instantly he fixed the problem. In less than 15 mins the heat was back on. My experience was extremely pleasant because of his integrity, professionalism and his prompt response. Nothing pleases a customer more than kindness and understanding. This family oriented business gets 5 stars from me. If you’re looking for a honest and efficient business for any repairs you may have in the heating cooling department, Richard’s heating &cooling it is. Thank you so much for your business.

Top Notch Great Service. Stood by their work. Boiler backed up, black smoke out of chimney, carbon monoxide alarm went off. Came within a couple of hours, after hours, very professional, spent the time to clean my boiler and fix it right. Would recommend Richard's to anyone. Thank You

Our 30 years old boiler started leaking overnight. Ryan to the rescue! He figured out the best way to redesign and build a densely populated grid of pipes, shutoff, mixing & relief valves to restore our heating system to good health. Using modern crimping technology & tools, Ryan took the time to create & assemble a custom made pipe system replacing the leaking one. Prompt, extremely efficient, knowledgeable and professional, Ryan patiently checked the results and fine-tuned the system, re-adjusted the aquastat and the mixing valve settings. In a couple of hours, he fixed our system and restored our home heat and hot water without wasting any time. Other technicians would have taken the whole day to do this job! Thank you, Ryan!
My heat suddenly stopped on the coldest night so far. I spoke with Ryan on the phone he walked me through things to check. While on the phone with him, guiding me the heat turned on !! You cannot find this level service and professionalism nowadays. These guys are the best around we will only use richards for now on. On our previous house we called probably 10 different places on a very very cold night. We finally came across richards and they came in 10 minutes. look no further these guys will fix it.Thankyou Ryan.
So where do I begin with them. For starters I don’t even really leave google reviews when I have things done around the house but with these guys it’s warranted... Being that it’s winter time in New York, I’ve had a bunch of other companies here throughout the years for heating and boiler related stuff, but they are without a doubt the best I’ve ever dealt with.. Ryan just came by and fixed a problem we had, on the coldest day of the year so far, and on a Saturday no less and made sure we had heat and hot water. He’s knowledgeable, explains what he’s doing if you care to know, and they don’t price gauge, you really get the community, every customer matters vibe from them.. For the past few years now, and going forward this is the only company I would even think of calling if I had any problems with my heating system...
They don’t try to rip people off. Will be using their service again in the near future.
I had my oil burner yearly service done. He took his time to go over the system better then anyone I have had in 10 years. Really nice people who answered the phone and the guy who came here to do the service. Professional
The first time I used this company everything was good with the service. I used them this year for heating maintenance and 2 Bad things I noticed First oil spilled on the floor that wasn't cleaned when the service was performed. My Boiler has an oil leak now and second the heat wouldn't stop coming out of the vent even if I turn off the heat. That wasn't happening before. I don't know what the heck is going on but the heat is just continuously working even when is off. I don't think I'm gonna use this company again for my heating needs in the future.
Took care of the problem without trying to railroad me into an upgrade... Very knowledgeable serviceman.

Had a 35plus year old oil furnace and external hot water tank replaced with a new furnace. Richard inspected our old unit, explained our options, answered all our questions, and gave us an estimate. Richard was extremely polite, and in no way did he come across as a “salesman”. Once we decided to go with his company, he gave us a date, and explained the procedure. His workers showed up when scheduled, were as friendly and professional as Richard was, and did a fully professional job, with Richard inspecting and supervising from time to time. Replaced central air and gas boiler, very professional, kept in-touched throughout the process and after the job was completed. Job well done.
I highly recommend Richard's. I've used them in the past for boiler repairs, and last summer they installed a much-needed mini split system. They were prompt, professional and very respectful of my home - spreading drop cloths and cleaning up where they worked.
Ryan explain everything he was doing. They are very professional, knowledgeable and reliable company. I will for sure will use them in the future and will recommend to others
