I have three different friends that use buffalo energy for the HVAC work and they did superb work. These are high-class nice homes so i believe

I'm not sure I've ever encountered a more customer-focused representative than Justin. We worked with him and Buffalo Energy on two projects over a couple of years. In the first one, in particular, we has some uncertainties about the right course of action relative to insulating the house. Then the project was back-burnered due to COVID. Justin hung in there and patiently answered all my questions, and we got it done. The second project was much more straightforward, and I was extremely pleased with how quickly Justin was able to schedule the work. He's also great with follow-ups to make sure the work was done right. Justin should give a class on the benefits of patient and committed customer service, because he now has me as a customer for life.
Hard to rate as I had them out for an estimate on a mini split system. The salesman was personable and seemed knowledgeable. He got his info and promised an estimate in a short time. Problem is I never got that estimate. I could have followed up but felt that if I couldn't rely on them for an estimate then I couldn't feel good about them doing an install!
Good service
This is the second time I have had Buffalo energy to work on my house. The first time was the installation of a tankless hot water system, and the second most recently was a heat pump system for my whole house. I am very grateful for the quality of service, the respect of my property, and the care and concern they had with working with my schedule and the quality of work. I would recommend them highly!
My neighbor had this horrible company come out to do her installation and the workers very unprofessional smoking , using derogatory and profanity statements. Ruined and dirtied our yard didn’t clean up . Did not ask permission to come in our yard . Horrible service I guess cause it’s a city program - free doesn’t always mean good customer service .

I requested an energy audit via an ad from Buffalo Energy in Dec 2020 citing the Home Energy program was funded, NYSERDA whom I've gotten work done with in the past was part of the process (hope I got that entire process correct). From initial contact to inspection, my energy contractor representative Pete was very thorough & professional, went through all energy-aspects of my home, from hot water tank to HVAC. Was determined via the audit that my home was indeed lacking proper attic insulation. I completed the application process, received an approval & within 4 wks my job was set for full attic blown-in insulation, at no cost to me. The 2 gentleman Buffalo Energy sent out were awesome, 100% pro's at their jobs, set-up, installation & clean-up was great. Guys even stopped during set-up, ran to Home Depot to get & replaced my bathroom exhaust fan vent tube, as existing 20 yr old tube had holes in it. They said it would release moisture into the attic & promote mold, talk about going above & beyond what was expected!! Couldn't be happier with the new insulation, home is quieter, heat is turning on less, total win-win!!
Still awaiting the water heater/boiler combo that can be placed on a wall/chimney?
I had an install done, very professional. Fast forward a year later, I had an issue with my thermostat, they fixed promptly and it was not even their issue ( I got a faulty one after my install they did not even put it in). They were willing to help, you don’t find that very often. Yet again 2 months later another issue. My neighbors garage burned down causing property damage to my home among other things. I needed my ac inspected because of the heat and I was worried it may be damaged. Without any hesitation Mike W. came out the next day and did a through inspection. It was not damaged, but it’s amazing we still have company’s that give this level of customer service. So If you are thinking about any ac or furnace work or installs, if you call anyone else you should rethink every decision you ever made. They are awesome, by far one of the best companies to deal with. I’ve never done a google review until today. They also had very reasonable prices and financing .
We just had our attic and basement insulated and are very happy with the work that was done. We worked with Pete several weeks ago to determine the scope of work that best suited our needs. Zach, Kasheem, Elliott, and Ian were on site today to complete the job. They worked tirelessly, in spite of the extreme heat, to finish the job in one day. Thanks to all for your hard work to get this project completed.

Buffalo Energy provided me with a home energy audit after I reached out to them regarding lacking insulation and issues with heating/cool in specific areas of my home. Buffalo Energy laid out a solution to resolve my issues and the quality of work they did was terrific. In the end, I had spray foam insulation installed throughout my attic in order to help with heating/cooling and an aging A/C unit replaced. All of the work was completed in a timely manner with a crew of extremely courteous and professional workers. The team at Buffalo Energy pointed out issues with my existing systems and went above and beyond in addressing issues they found. They provided information and options throughout the process and everyone I worked with, from the project management to the folks doing the work were top notch. Communication was excellent throughout the process. From the initial audit, the lead up to the work, onsite communication and follow up, the team kept me informed and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the results. I would highly recommend Buffalo Energy to anyone looking to improve the comfort of their home and who cares about quality of work and professionalism.
I had an issue with my heat not working throughout my house. The furnace would turn on, but I’d get no heat to the house. Turns out, the condensate pump was clogged up which restricted the heat turning on. Tech Dave and his partner (who’s name I didn’t catch) came to my house on time and had everything fixed within an hour! Also to mention, when I first had this issue and called 2 days ago, they called me right back and gave me an appointment that fit my schedule. The guys were professional and friendly, and got my heat working great! Awesome service and I’d definitely recommend their service to anyone who needs HVAC work.
I have had a great experience from start to finish with Buffalo Energy. I worked with Will who explained all the incentives I was eligible for, the process to apply and time-frame to get everything completed. It was so simple and I had all the work done the following Monday after the paperwork was completed. Installation was quick and done in one day. Would recommend for anyone looking to get energy efficient upgrades done like I did.

I had 10 or so guys at my home for two days blowing insulation along with many other things. They were AMAZING! Very professional, very friendly and great workers.
Can't say enough about Buffalo Energy - they were incredible! I was supposed to have insulation work done by another company, but due to scheduling changes (along with more than 2 months of waiting) I moved on & less than 24 hours later I had an energy audit completed & signed off on. Less than a month after that I had 5 guys down at my house spraying foam insulation along the joists of the basement & blowing 16" (YES - 16 INCHES!) of cellulose in the crawl space attic of my 2 story home. After showing up before the promised time, they were finished in less than 5 hours while being clean & professional. Right away I could tell the difference with the temperature in my upstairs rooms going from 6-8 degrees difference compared to the downstairs to only 2! Knowing my family can sleep more comfortably at night along with the fact that this will help use less energy in the future makes this 100% worth it.
