Smaller outfit with WAY better quality, service and value than you'll find with larger outfits. Service was transparent, honest, thorough and I didn't feel like I was being taken to the cleaners. McCann showed options, educated me and showed me how to prioritize my heat/AC and ductwork needs between now and next winter based on my unique set of circumstances. Will be calling them for every maintenance, service and project we have.
Was totally impressed with the company AND the owner. Honest, reliable! I would definitely use the next time I have a plumbing or heating issue.
Sean installed a new hot water heater for our new home, replacing an old and inefficient existing one. Every step of the process with Sean - from initial contact through installation - was seamless and professional. He communicated everything he was going to do/was doing throughout the installation and made himself available to answer any questions we had. He even worked late into the night on a Friday to ensure it was fully installed for us before Thanksgiving holiday family arrivals. I would gladly use Sean again and highly recommend him! We live in Cazenovia and hired McCann Mechanical to install a new York AC and Heating system in June 2022. Sean was excellent from start to finish! In fact, he has so many qualities that it's hard to list them all. Nevertheless, I’ll mention a few. The first is clear and prompt communication. He always responded immediately to messages. I also really liked that he would provide a heads up before he was coming to our place, just so we were prepared. Second, he leaves the job site very clean. I’m a bit of a neat freak and this aspect meant a lot to me. Third, his price was more reasonable compared to another company. Fourth, he’s friendly and answers questions thoroughly. Finally, he has excellent attention to detail. Indeed, Sean goes over and beyond. He even stayed a bit longer at the end of his job to attend to some of the aesthetic aspects of the job. I would definitely hire Sean for another job and would recommend McCann Mechanical to others as well.
McCann Mechanical was very professional and especially accommodating. Responsiveness was excellent! McCann also provided the most reasonable estimate I had received for the services I was looking for. Being able to chose a local business was just icing on the cake. 10/10 will use for future HVAC inquiries and needs.
Very happy with our experience. Sean is an excellent communicator and does beautiful work. His attention to detail and respect for our home was beyond noteworthy. Sean diagnosed an issue and subsequently installed a new hot water heater for us. He was clearly knowledgeable of his trade and passionate about his work. I would definitely recommend him.

Sean was a lifesaver. My elderly dad's furnace broke and after calling many different heating places and being told they were all book up and leaving many messages Sean called and said he had an opening. My dad lives in a very old house with chimney problems and Sean was so great working with us to find a solution. He was great with my elderly dad and the furnace was installed in 2 days. Sean was so nice and professional. Would recommend McCann Mechanical Heating Cooling & Plumbing to anyone who is looking for someone who will give you a fair price and great service!!!
This was a great company to work . any follow up questions i had were addressed immediately . it was a big job and they were meticulous about everything . no short cuts at all. also a great job explaining things . highly recommend
Sean McCann is prompt, He ran a new gas line into my house. Saved my life actually. The old pipe was leaking into my basement. He came out and installed my new pipe with the correct dimensions. The install job of this man was amazing. He anchored it to the house and did an amazing job ensuring each joint would no longer leak. I would recommend him over and over again. Extremely knowledgeable of his craft. Would recommend him over and over again! Came out in short notice, and even gave a military discount. True supporter of the men and women of uniform.

If I could give 10 Stars, I would! Sean got me out of a huge bind by replacing the igniter on my pellet stove during a freezing week in winter. I was told by the place I bought the stove it would be 2-3 month wait time for them to do it. He was prompt, professional, and neat (he took apart the back of the stove and cleaned it - it was scary dirty and I didn't know how to take it apart) He definitely knows what he is doing, it was fixed properly and no call back was needed. I recommend McCann Mechanical to anyone! I will definitely work with them again for my HVAC needs. Thank you!
McCann does not service my Heating equipment but they directed me to how I could find the company that can. They were very informative in helping to understand my situation and I was able to find the company that serviced my heating system. I had called 3 places before I called McCann and they were not able to provide the expertise that McCann was able to do.
Sean was exceptional from start to finish. Went above and beyond installing my Tankless water heater and central air unit. Highly recommend!
Sean came and fixed our A/C during the recent heatwave when nobody else would fit us in. He did a great job, found and fixed multiple issues and was reasonably priced! We highly recommend him!

Great guy, who does great work, at a great price. He put in a new High Efficient Gas furnace just before Christmas. We had issues heating our kids rooms and he balanced out the air flow in our home so our kids rooms are equally heated as the rest of the house. Two weeks after he finished the job, I asked him to come check on something for us, he came over to the house that day (Saturday). Our Family is very fortunate to have been recommended to him, he will be our families HVAC provider for years to come.
I had a terrific experience with Sean. He is professional, courteous, trustworthy, punctual, and affordable. He was a pleasure to deal with. I had to have a new furnace installed and Sean gave me a great price and did clean, detailed work.. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and the professionalism.
