These guys did my central air and I’ve used them for everything HVAC related. Definitely the most knowledgeable & professional company I’ve come across. I was having issues with my furnace since I bought my home (it was fairly new when I purchased the home). I was having the company that originally installed it service it, they kept telling me it was an issue with the furnace itself. Rescom fixed the issue when they did the AC- was as simple as changing 3” PVC out for 4” so the unit could breathe better. I haven’t had an issue since and it’s been 6 years. I’ll never use another HVAC company, these guys are the best.

My heat went kaput on Thursday. I had an estimate and a new furnace installed by Friday afternoon. Even with their excellent service, they came in $400 below the other company that quoted me. From the office staff, Debbie, to the techs that came out, both Brian, they were fantastic. Friendly, professional and overall a perfectly great experience on a day that was unexpectedly not so fantastic. Thank you all! I am so grateful to have a warm house tonight! How refreshing to deal with kind people on a terrible day! Call them! You will not regret it!

Excellent response time! My AC quit one morning after a hot day and night... I called 3 separate businesses only ResCom offered a tech at some point that day... the guy showed up at 2pm, discovered in 5 minutes the problem, had it fixed in less than 1 hours. Charge was minimal and reasonable. Highly recommend!

Res-Com in Cicero, New York did the electrical installation in our new JMG home. We wanted some additional GFI outlets installed and a light to be lowered in our dining room area. Nick and Austin arrived on time and warmly introduced themselves. They removed their shoes which showed respect for our home which we very much appreciated. When I commented on this they said, "Of course, This is your home!" They listened carefully to our concerns, went quickly to work, but what we appreciated most were the clear explanations given for what was going on with our electrical circuits. When they encountered a bit of a problem in the kitchen with the tile backsplash, they especially were carefully when they worked on inserting the outlet without breaking the tile. They made sure all work areas were cleaned up after they were done and made sure everything was working properly before they left. They also made sure we knew how to use the GFI breaker in the outlet. They gave us tips on what to do and not do in our home to keep safe from injury, especially with the electric stove. These men were professional, polite, respectful and would definitely want them to come back to us if we needed any other work done on our home. We would highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

I am really impressed with the polished and professional service this company provides. They installed a new furnace in my home five years ago. They came, did the work and left. Simple - right? Well I'm not sure why every company isn't like this. I had a problem with my central A/C. I called on a sweltering July day expecting to wait several days for service. Nope, they came the same day! Fixed the problem and that was that. They are there when I need them and for that I am grateful.

I can't say enough good things about Res-Com, I've been using them for the past 12 years since we built our home (they installed our furnace initially). Courteous, reasonably priced, quality work...definitely a good locally owned company to do business with.

My furnace stopped working and they sent a tech within 30 minutes and we’re able to make the repairs. The tech was professional and knowledgeable and took the time to show me and explain the problem. Highly recommend res com!

I used Res-Com for A/C installation. The work was done to my satisfaction but very expensive compared to other companies. I have twice called them since then for heating and A/C repairs and installation issues and both times they were reluctant to do the work. Are you an existing customer? Yes Has anyone else ever done work on your systems.? Of course we have lived here for 37 years. After being put on hold, switched to another person she said that they can't help us since we used another company for a heating repair that they were unavailable for. What are you kidding? I told the lady I couldn't believe how poorly they treat their customers and I hung up. I would NEVER use them or recommend them to anyone.

Original review 10/9/20: Loved working with ResCom for a few years, but them my main technician (Joe) started working in the backoffice and a new tech came out and miraculously discovered about $17k of repairs. When I didn't respond to their estimate, they followed up and asked for an update. I respectfully said that I got another opinion and that they suggested $500 in repairs (and even that was optional). His response makes it clear I will never be doing business again - extraordinarily passive aggressive. Update 1/9/21: as I mentioned in my review 2 months ago, $17k in repairs were recommended. Turns out no repairs were needed!!! If Paul (or Joe, who I actually still really like but I wish he did this earlier) took a monometer, he'd see I had barely any gas going to my boiler. That's why it wasn't working. I didn't need $17k of repairs. I needed the guys to do their jobs. This is a basic tool they probably have in their vehicles for any job. Turns out I've had this issue for 3-4+ years! I likely paid for thousands of dollars of repairs over the past 3-4 years from Rescom that were wholly unnecessary. I'm even more disappointed now.

Furnace went down 12/30 at 5:00pm. I called Res-Com and Patrick, sales / estimator, called right away. The problem was able to be diagnosed without a service call. 20 year old furnace no good. The owners wife, Debbie, got in touch with me at 6:30 pm and said she would talk with her husband and call me back in the morning. Debbie called at 7:00am and said her husband Steve would be over at 7:30am. Steve showed up told us the price and said he could have his technicians over within a half hour as they were closing at noon. The tech's arrived promptly put floor protection down, followed all Covid protocols and worked efficiently to complete installing the new furnace in a couple hours. Excellent experience!

Res-Com installed a new furnace & air conditioner for me this summer. Everyone I dealt with was great. The installers were very professional & they left my house taking every bit of trash & scrap with them. I highly recommend this company!!!

Never let anyone from Res-Com to touch your heating or A/C unit. They will come like a very simple, professional to check your system for $89 as regular check up. Later they will find something here and there to bill you $250-350 for minor repair or more for a bigger one. By the way, when any guy from Res-Com comes to your house for a service call, ask that guy whether he has parts to repair your unit. They are professional artists, will tell you that they don’t have the parts and they will get the part and come back again but you need to pay for their gas for summer driving. So, please don’t trust this company at all.

Moved into a new build home, found out the A/C did not work. RES-COM got a tech out in just a couple hours after I called on a holiday. They came and assessed the terrible job the builder did and completed and repaired the A/C installation. The technician was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!
