This is my first google review, but Rob Smith's work was outstanding and I felt compelled to share my experience. I had a number of small but important repairs based on some amateur plumbing done by the original owner of the home I purchased. He quickly diagnosed the issues that had been identified in the inspection report and provided long-term and cost effective solutions for those issues. Furthermore, I had a temperature issue with the shower, and he was able to fix this unusual issue! Strongly recommend his work. Honest and fair.
George and Joe are crooks. extremely unfair pricing and bad attitude. $2200 just for labor to replace a water heater and only takes zelle or cash. really hope they get audited for tax evasion. go with anyone else but this place.

Everyone we dealt with at Astoria Plumbing Heating and Cooling was very friendly and professional. Our furnace stopped working and they not only came and looked the same day, it turned out we needed a new furnace and they worked with us to find the best fit and arranged for the install the next morning. Would highly recommend!
I called George, when another plumbing company disappointed me by not showing up, pressing me into their schedule and responding sympathetically to my pressing predicament. Someone came almost immediately (I was lucky he was only a few blocks away) and saved the day! His plumber was very nice and professional and I booked them again next time.
A repair person came to fix our problem since we installed our new air con. The repair was quick and clean to fix what needed to be done and the air con seems to be running better than ever.
Shame on this company. I normally do not write reviews but this company took advantage of my elderly parents and I need to warn others. My elderly parents suddenly had no heat and contacted this business to fix their heating system. They came and assessed the situation and said that they would need to order a new motor and some other parts to fix the problem temporarily for a few months but they recommended that they eventually change the whole system. My parents chose to fix it temporarily so they have heat for the remainder of the winter and would think about the $9,000 expense to change the entire system for next winter. They company “fixed” it and were paid over $2000 to do so. The pipes were warm when they left but a few hours later, they were cold again. To make a long story short, my parents contacted them numerous times (most of the time they did not answer). To the company’s credit, they did send someone out 2 times to “fix” the problem but they did not fix it. My parents still have no heat and the company will not answer any calls. The last time the person came to air out the pipe, he left the cover off and a mess. I would advise, not to use this company, because there is a chance they will not complete the job properly (or at all) and then will not bother to respond to messages or phone calls about it. Now my parents are out over $2000 and have to spend even more money to get someone competent to fix the problem. I don’t know how they are in business.

Excellent Plumber. I called this morning and my call was returned immediately. Within 2 hours, one of their plumbers was at my home. He fixed the problem with the toilet and replaced an integral part. Very reasonable cost. I highly recommend these guys!
Our household was left without hot water, until Ahmed provided a speedy resolution. His expertise and proficiency enabled us to enjoy warm showers in no time! We were thoroughly impressed with the service delivered - not only for our hot water tank but also their heating and cooling services too. We will be recommending them enthusiastically to all of our friends and family who may need furnace or air conditioning assistance!
The plumber was punctual, professional, and quickly diagnosed my clogged drain issue for a reasonable cost. Will be calling him again for my future plumbing needs!

Pros: Can same day to repair my elderly parent's heating system. Cons: Literally took 5 minutes and charged us $500. Overcharged us, but my parents did not have heat on a freezing day, so I paid, no choice. Now I can't get an invoice. I keep getting bounced around. If you want prompt service and pay A LOT of money, call Astoria Plumbing.
