They broke the emblem on the outside of the unit and I know it was not much BUT I like to keep everything looking good on my unit no matter how old it is. Asked to have it replaced and the story was they could not get that part anymore along with a bad attitude. So I called the company and they sent out two for FREE and gave me no problem about it. I'm sorry sometimes its the little things that keep your customers FOR OVER 20 YEARS so I no longer deal with them.
I can't even begin to properly articulate my frustrations. The whole thing of being purchased by Hutchinson only leaves you in a finger pointing situation. Please keep an eye on your bills when you are financing. Campbell didn't send the right amount to Hutchinson for my install that was financed through the company they refer you to and now Hutchinson is looking for their money that somehow I owe them. Instead of these two companies figuring this out and handling it, they expect you to be stuck in the middle and deal with their mistakes.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Listen please be careful when using Hutchinson. I used Campbell to install a new air conditioning unit in my house. At the time I did not know Hutchinson was taking over. Now I wish I did, when I signed my contract it stated rebate for x amount of dollars. I did not receive the rebate at all after about 5 months I finally decided to call. In a matter of a month I call twice a week. Being told I will be contacted by upper management, sales, rebate department. For a month straight I did not receive a call now once. Finally I call again go on to explain my frustration to the women on the phone. She then emails someone who then reaches out to me. The gentleman then tells my that there is no rebate available. Again I will reiterate when I signed my contract it clearly state x amount available for rebate. Now I understand this is not Hutchinson who did the contract but as a company who takes over. You are liable for all contracts and clients. After 5 months this is the answer I get. It really is the the process how everything was handled. You also think maybe after seeing how frustrated I was as a customer they would offer something. Please beware of these people.
EDITED TO ADD: When I posted this, the company was Campbell Comfort Systems. It has since been bought out by Hutchinson. I have no idea how Hutchinson conducts business. This is not an endorsement of Hutchinson, but of a company that no longer exists. Tech was professional and friendly, explaining what services he performed – even did some extra research on the brand of system he was unfamiliar with to explain things to me.
We used a company previously (Air Temp Solutions) that ended up contracting out to Campbell (who is now Hutchinson). We had them come out and do a furnace tuneup and had a good experience. After much discussion, we decided to sign up for their service membership. We had them out at the end of June to tune up our AC, and we ended up with an estimate for over $1000. The language used was very convoluted, and after a Google search I realized that we needed a capacitor replaced. They wanted to charge us almost $400- and that was WITH the 10% membership discount. The other items we were quoted were unnecessary. We reached out to other companies for an estimate on the capacitor, and Campbell was double the price anyone else charged. As we only chose to do the membership for the discount on service, we felt it was best to cancel it. There is no price benefit. I called to cancel the next day. I was surprised the next week when we were charged the monthly fee. I called to ask for a refund and was told we hadn’t even cancelled. The agent cancelled for me (again) and was uncertain as to whether we would receive a refund. As of today, a check supposedly went out in the mail a week ago (I was expecting a refund to our credit card)… I’m quite disappointed that things have gone this way. We would have kept using them for our tuneups, but I’m not so sure about it at this point.
Folks should know Campbell is now Hutchinson. As someone that had terrible customer service from Hutchinson, I was very disappointed to learn this when a Hutch tech showed up for my AC maintenance instead of Campbell. As someone on the service plan, it would have been nice to get a heads up about this ownership change before my scheduled. I’m giving 3 stars for the lack of communication and the attitude from the tech when I asked why they were here instead of Campbell. ------------------------- I'm updating my review to 1 star. When I found out Hutchinson bought Campbell (per above), I called to cancel my maintenance contract. They assured me it was cancelled, but couldn't provide me any confirmation via email or US mail. Sure enough, the next month rolls around and I get charged. I call to try today to try to get a refund and to ensure (and get confirmation) that the contract get cancelled. They are able to see the contract is cancelled in their system, but no one available to help me further. I've decided to just pursue disputing the charges with my credit card company than deal with Hutchinson ever again.
We have used these people before and thought they were the best. However, not anymore! They installed an AC unit with coil, and it does not compare to our old unit. I Believe they did not install enough BTU unit. Our old system on 70-71% froze us out This system (Lennox), I have to keep the temp on 68% in order to cool like the old one did. They argued what they installed was good. I say something is wrong, and all they wanted was to argue with me that they were right. So, no fixing it. We would NEVER use them again, nor would I recommend them. We paid their HIGH price only to be unsatisfied. Trust us when I tell you they are very high priced, with no fix attitudes. Also, they installed the unit off from being straight. It is not straight with the house, looks terrible.
Mike was the Hero again. The whole group is fantastic as well. House is nice and comfortable now!! Got right to the heart of the matter and set it all right. Campbell comfort has been my source for HVAC since I purchased my house in 2004. They did all my upgrades and installs. They are fantastic and the best in the industry I had personal interactions with the owner and his son. Their techs are the best. I will never use anyone but them. They supply and service your equipment with professionalism and care. Tou are lucky they sell and service e your product. Once again Campbell comfort system to my rescue. Issue found, parts installed and Mike P as always checked every detail. I couldn't ask for more confidence in a home contractor. From bottom to top the entire group is the best!
Had a preventative maintenance visit with an additional component deep cleaning service on Friday afternoon. On Sunday night, I noticed the air was no longer blowing at all. A very experienced tech was dispatched Monday morning and resolved the issue quickly, professionally and, as expected, with no extra charge. I would have preferred.it was done right the first time, but really appreciate the fast response and resolution without any complications.
Campbell Comfort systems always does an exceptional job. They explain ever step and always offer alternatives whenever possible. They are my service providers for all my AC and heater needs. I would recommend them to anyone.
First off Brian showed great personality and patience with our 2 dogs! He performed the inside and outside checkup in a comprehensive yet timely fashion. He explained all our options regarding the life of the a/c compressor. All I’m all am extremely pleasant experience!
I cannot express the professionalism, expertise and respectfulness of this company. Jacob and the apprentice arrived on time, understood what I needed and explained what was needed. Bill Campbell the owner took the time to come explain what products they had available in an easy understandable layman terms. I was able to get an installation the very next day! Matt and his team arrived on time, we’re respectful of my home and laid drop cloths. They tested both the new AC and Furnace systems and Matt was able to resolve a big issues with two vents not working, that in itself was a exactly what I was praying for. Communication via text and email were great I received a bio and picture of our installer, Matt, before he arrived on time. Matt used drop cloths and wore boot covers. Matt installed the HW heater and furnace with a new thermostat. Matt took care in keeping his work area confined and clean. Ryan installed the new AC unit with a new condenser pad, disconnect box and AC whip. They wore surgical masks and respected Covid boundaries. Matt and Ryan worked constantly without any breaks. When they were done, everything was cleaned up, and Matt reviewed the new system with us. I am very happy with the quality of their work. I am glad we chose Campbell Comfort Systems and highly recommend them.
We contacted Campbell Comfort Systems when we had an issue with our AC stopped working and they sent Mike P. out to our home. From the moment he walked he was beyond professional to us. He has made us feel so very well taken care of with the this experience of replacing our entire system. Campbell Comfort are very lucky to have him!
Honest and reliable company with outstanding employees. Always on time, Matt and Ryan worked to install flat radiator heat in 3 rooms. They made sure they did installation with no mess

I called Campbell with a central A/C issue, and Brian came out the same day. He was professional, knowledgeable, and patient with answering any questions that I had. The system is working %150 better, and just in time for hot weather this week (thanks to him). Thanks to Brian and Campbell Comfort Systems!
Took advantage of their A/C system check. Know my A/C is on the old side and had them check to see if still working properly. Thoroughly checked inside and out. Let me know of the current status and potential issues in the future without a pressuring sales pitch
