Do not use this company! They replaced my old Hvac with a new one including head strip and air handler in January of 2022. It’s been serviced 3 times because it’s stopped working. 8k job and no accountability ! Unfortunately they were hired via my home warranty service and the owner does not care about the quality of service provided especially if you are coming through an insurance company. I am convinced their business model is to just milk the insurance company. The owner actually told me why do you care it’s not your money! Shame on you and your company! Do not use them! Do not approve them via your home warranty. I promise you will regret it.

I called Long Lane to fix my refrigerator. Another company mis-diagnosed the problem, only added freon. The technician arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, ordered parts. Fridge is working like new again.Highly recommend.

I was at my neighbors house, and I asked if he could help me with a problem. He came in and saw the problem & fixed it. As courteous and nice as I’ve ever had. Would use them again. Highly recommend

Long lane home services came out twice to diagnose my leak from my shower. Both times the tech John advised it was my grout in the shower. John even went as far as cutting a giant hole in my ceiling in my living room and still providing the same diagnosis. I had the shower regrouted and there is still a leak. I called to inquire what they can do about me being provided the wrong diagnosis both times as well as spending my own money to get the issue fixed. Other lady I spoke with was super rude and she basically advised that it’s my warranty 2-10 fault. Of course I called my warranty and they advised they can only refund me the service fee. This is possibly the worst experience I have had since becoming a new home owner. Please don’t use this company. They will tell you the wrong info and don’t care if they do!

Chris did an amazing job with the installation of our new microwave. The staff was through and patient from start to finish! I’d recommend them for services.

This is the worst repair service I’ve ever experienced. They messed up the same repair 3 times. Our dishwasher has been broken since November 2022. After countless visits I still don’t have a fully functional dishwasher. This experience has been nearly impossible to comprehend.

If I could give minus zero stars I would. These people did not even address all the issues that the repair person discussed with me. I have a 30 year old dryer that squeals when running, is rusted has a broken lint screen, a broken starter switch and instead of suggesting to my home warranty company it should be replace they want to repair this machine which has been repaired numerous times before for which I have to pay for each time I put in a service request. To top it off its an electricity guzzler. I find it asinine that anyone would suggest keeping this 30 yr. old dinosaur especially when they would not themselves. And this person Anthony I spoke to is trying to compare a dryer from 1980 to one from today. Really, how ridiculous. Warning to anyone with a home warranty this company's own repair person said out of his own mouth that this company hates to recommend replacements and that the owner thinks anything can be repaired. Wow. At the end of the day, we as policy holders have to pay yearly for our home warranties that are not cheap, and we also have to pay a service fee each time a repair is called to our homes. This company loses nothing when they request a replacement, so I find them to be unacceptable as well as ridiculous. I would never recommend Long Lane Home Services to anyone as well as I would never approve of your company ever stepping foot in my home again and as for your service repair report, try listing everything that is wrong and not just what you think will get you the repair job . Unscrupulous is what your company is and that's putting it mildly.

Only needed a heating element replaced. Cost to come out was $129, part cost $87, labor fee to install, an additional $110. None of this was prorated. It took the service tech only 15 minutes to diagnose and replace part. None of the $129 fee went towards the labor. Long Lane is no more than 4 miles from my house. Total bill just to replace heating elements was $349. Totally unreasonable. No negotiations. This is a rip off. Even car dealers don't overcharge like this.

Honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. They don’t call to schedule appointments, when you call to confirm they are coming they say they will be there between 9-6 and then show up after. They had me wait for service for a back ordered part that ended up having nothing to do with the underlying problem. They then ordered the wrong part and installed it anyway. They came to my home 6 times to service my refrigerator/freezer over a period of 3 months. My refrigerator/freezer is still broken. On top of all of this, they have the most rude and condescending staff. The older Man named Bill was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever interfaced with. Avoid this company at all costs.

They replaced my outside ac unit. Very nice people, and professional. The gentleman gave me a written estimate, breaking it down to the exact cost. Outstanding service, and no issues with the new unit. When the older indoor part dies, I will be sure to call them. I highly recommend.

They did the job well. The office staff is blunt and unwilling to pass on a message or even give an estimate of morning or afternoon arrival. Do not respond to email and seem pretty busy — got warranty work done for hvac breakdown on a Friday night during a heatwave and couldn’t come until Tuesday but no issues since the repair a month ago. So good skill set not awesome customer relations and maybe need more staff to respond quicker during extreme weather but solid work A+. Rapport C-

The lLong Lane plumber that was assigned for the job could not figure out where the leak was coming from. He stayed a while trying to figure it out but I thought I was on a prank tv show for a moment. He tracked dirt on my carpet, and didn’t have a flash light to find the leak he was looking for. That’s equivalent to a carpenter trying to measure something but having no tape measurer and a carpet cleaner trying to clean carpets without using water. Where do they hire these people. Get it together. Come prepared with tools, and parts and located and fix the leak instead of just snatching the service fee. I’m wondering if the company stay in business for collecting service fees and providing no work at all, that could be their scheme you know. Imagine a plumber’s days work is just driving to house to house collecting service fees and doing no actual work. And Just make up excuses why they can’t fix something. Do the job or just close the company down.

The techs which have come to our home have been kind and professional but the dispatch is awful. They have been rude and curt on multiple occasions and I've also had to routinely follow-up to get on the schedule after submitting a request through our 2-10 home warranty. Just recently, I was scheduled for someone to fix our pipe issue after misdiagnosing the problem initially, they were supposed to come out today and we changed our schedule to accommodate. This was scheduled a week+ in advance. They just called saying the parts came in today despite us being told the fix was happening today and now we have to wait even longer for someone to remedy the job. She claims she "doesn't know what happened" yet these issues seem to happen frequently.

For the first call with the woman who scheduled my service through the actual install 5 stars. They did in one fast appointment what 2 other contractors drug out for months. The tech was polite and explained the new appliance. He even gave me general maintenance tips. Above and beyond professionalism.

So far, timely, professional and knowledgeable! I have a Bluestar range and hood and was originally assigned a vendor near me, but had a lot of issues with their knowledge and professional manner, so I requested a new vendor. Long Lane has been top notch so far! Very knowledgeable about Bluestar products and are extremely professional. Very happy with them!
