We have been with this company for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Last week, our central air unit broke and they quickly gave us reasonable options for a new Carrier unit. Within days the work men arrived , replaced the old unit with the new one . They were diligent, neat, knowledgeable and curteous. I highly recommend this company over Gold Medal and PSE&G who were abominable in the past.
GRC serviced the chiller for our cancer center's linear accelerator and enabled us to return to caring for our patients very quickly. Sean (might be mis-spelling) was very efficient and professional as he diagnosed and fixed the problem. He kept us informed as he went along, realizing he was helping us care for cancer patients. Marie was my point of contact at the GRC office. She is very knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to work through several business-related details that I did not understand. We are grateful to be working with GRC Mechanical Services!
GRC serviced my wine cellar cooling unit. They responded to repair requests within the same day for equipment they did not even sell me or install. Top quality service. When the time came to replace the equipment they gave me a very competitive price and the installation was perfect. Their crew arrived on time, put down floor protection and were professional and neat. The new equipment went in without a hitch and is working fine. It is nice to know that they stand behind their work!!
For the longest time we were trying to sort out how best to replace our wine cellar refrigeration. It is no easy task finding experienced local provider. John and GRC solved our problem well with no headaches. They came to the house to evaluate set-up, then returned to test the lines to make sure all would work. They followed up with supplier which was no easy feat during Covid, and kept me in the loop. Wine cellar refrigeration is specialized equipment to operate at low temperatures for long time and John and GRC understand that and have done it before. Cirilo, Terence and Tim were terrific on -site. They treated our home like it was theirs. Covered all the floors. Worked neatly and cleanly. Very polite. Zero cutting of walls needed especially in one tricky area. Communicated clearly and quickly during the process. Two months out everything working perfectly. We're happy GRC customers. Many thanks.
From day 1, when Matt prepared a quote for a replacement of my AC system, the level of professionalism and responsiveness from GRC Mechanical was excellent. The crew on site was meticulous and thorough in removing the old AC system and installing a new AC condenser, air handler and new flexible hoses for the vents. Their pricing was competitive with other quotes that I received from other companies. I highly recommend them.

We had to replace all our major home appliances, Gas Furnace, AC, and Water Heater due to flooding caused by Hurricane Ida. After scheduling for an estimate, I had a proposal with two options within a week. Salesperson followed up with phone calls to see if I had any questions or concerns. Their financing options (60-months, 0% interest) played a key role in making our decision since insurance company was not responsive and we could not wait any longer. After getting the approval for financing and accepting their proposal, installation took place within 3-4 days, which was a great relief for us (PSE&G would have taken additional 3 weeks to schedule). Technicians were very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the two days installation period. All our questions were answered and concerns addressed to our satisfaction. They have tested the system thoroughly after the installation, and make sure everything is in good working order before leaving. We couldn't be any happier with the quality of the products and professional workmanship delivered by GRC Mechanical Services.
GRC converted our home from oil heat to gas. They installed a water Heater & Boiler plus ran new gas pipes under ground and into the house. They are totally professional in every way. We are contracting for future work.

Needed our complete A/C [Air Handler and Compressor] replaced. Timely response/visit to give an estimate. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Three workers showed up at 8:30 a.m. to make the installation happen in one day. They worked together as a cohesive team. All were confident, courteous, knowledgeable and did not leave until we understood how to use/maintain the system and operate the new fangled thermostat. :)

When we bought a three-bedroom house, we were told the previous owners had considered central air conditioning but didn't want to spend $35K. We did get a proposal from another company, specifying one unit in the basement and one in the attic to cool the first and second floors respectively. Since we didn't want holes in our hardwood floors, there would have to be extensive ductwork in the first floor walls. The price was $35,550. We then realized that the compressors and heat exchangers were manufactured not by Carrier, Lennox, or Trane, but by the HVAC installer itself. We weren’t about to spend $35K on a “house brand”. Tim from GRC pointed out that we only needed a single unit in the attic. Ductwork could be run through closets to cool the first floor from vents in the ceiling. Only one small section of wall on the second floor would have to be opened and repaired. Total price for top-of-the-line Carrier variable-speed equipment: $23,020. The installation was as prompt and unobtrusive as we could have wished. Our A/C is so quiet only the cool air and the thermostat let us know it’s on. We subsequently used GRC to install a gas-powered generator. Needless to say, we have recommended GRC to all who have asked.
GRC replaced HVAC system. Completely satisfied from the initial estimate contact thru the completed job. I'm very hands on and picky in regards home repairs. The installers, Terrance (and his assistant) did a top notch job. Every connection, pipe, wire, brace, duct work perfect. All in a 3.5 foot high crawl space.
Good service! A little late to the appointment but good service when they got there. Most importantly, they communicated.
We are in the process of selling a mixed-use building in Glen Rock and needed minor HVAC work completed per the inspection report. GRC Mechanical Services was very responsive and the fact our job was so small wasn't a problem. They arrived on time and completed the work, complete with pictures that we can submit to the inspector. I highly recommend this business.
Great experience, AC was out, another company came and said I need a new unit and let the wiring in a shambles, GRC came right away and fixed the problem, would definitely recommend. Brian
Be aware of these scamers. They came to my store after the landloard call and with no any word or estimate changed filter, their "professional" technician damaged my new seal and new painted wall, which I paid $2750 to fix it. few days later the sent me a bill for $943 🤣 yes $943 to change 2 filters. Their professional technician didn't even how to change them.
If it were not for a second opinion, I would had been convinced to pay alot of money to replace a part in my Colling system
GRC did a great Job removing my 35 year old AC System and installing anew more efficent one.System works great, removal of old system and installation of new system was quick and the house was left clean.new system works great ,very happy with GRC.would highly recommend them.
