My 86 y/o aunt's ac stopped working July 1 in 80 something degree heat. She called Gold Medal. Technician and comfort advisor came out. Long story short, recommend $9800 for new AC. Called Carrano Air to get another opinion. Carrano tech Anthony looked at unit, determined capacitor (?) needed replacing. Now blowing cold air again saving my aunt $9800 ! Would definitely call CARRANO AIR again
The crew installed a new furnace, and thermostat within the work day. Will walked us through how to use the google nest thermostat and was the utmost professional throughout. Looking forward to some cooler summer sleeps with the AC. Fantastic job by Carrano Air HVAC Contractors, Inc. and great crew!
I needed a new heater and AC and my experience with Carrano was very positive, starting with the great advice and options, our sales advisor, gave and to the installation I needed a new heater, they were very professional and efficient. They arrived on time, explained the heater installation process, and cleaned up afterwards. They also explained how to operate our excellent new thermostat and how to claim available rebates. Great job, guys. Thank you!
When our existing furnace quite on us and flooded our furnace room I contacted the original installer. Never heard back for several days. I contacted Carrano Air HVAC Contractors, Inc. their sales person was out to see me right away and assessed the old furnace. they were professional and not pushy. We signed the agreement for a new furnace and hot water tank. the installer and his partner worked hard to do a very professional job of installing and cleaning up. I give this company full marks as a quality and dependable HVAC supplier and installer.
UPDATE - March 2023 - Again we can sincerely give the highest recommendation for Carrano Air! They are the only contractor we have had for repeat business in over 22 years. We are currently loving our new furnace and look forward to the new air conditioner. Herb, Connor, Mario & Angelo were beyond fabulous, not to mention their outstanding office staff! From the initial phone call to report the outage, to the highly knowledgeable salesman Herb, to the install and calibration of the furnace and air conditioning units we could not be happier. They respected our time, were not "high pressure sales", excellent communication through every step, and most of all very conscientious of our escape artist pups to be sure that all gates and doors were closed appropriately. What can we say - friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy, efficient, respectful, affordable, courteous... a real pleasure every step of the way. Called them to diagnose my heater as it was only blowing cold air. They quoted $475 Plus tax to just to change igniter (which cost no more than $50). Maintenance person Andrei was not professional at all and when I negotiated the price his reply is “ I can’t stand here for feee and company has to make money”. Save yourself time and money.
I had Carrano Air come and replace my outdated boiler and radiator system with an HVAC system. Considering the age of my home (over 200 years), and the difficulty that this would pose, out of over 10 different consultations, only three companies would even give me a full quote. Of the three different quotes I got, theirs was the most comprehensive and took into account the structure of the house. The construction was thorough, and they did a truly fantastic job with great customer service and fabulous communication! The house is so warm and comfortable, and the heating system is wonderfully state of the art. I will use them for all my future needs.
update: never received a call back like they promised. Wouldn't expect anything different from a poorly run company. You would think a company wouldn't try to rip off a customer that used them to purchase and install their AC unit 3 years prior. Well, I was sorely mistaken. I was charged $450 to replace a broken capacitor that took no longer than 30 minutes to fix. I asked them for a breakdown of the cost and all they could say is that it was a "flat rate". There was no communication of this "flat rate" pricing beforehand. It seems to be made up to cover their shady business practices. Not to mention they came much later than the promised time. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Very unprofessional and would not recommend this place to anyone.
Carrano Air initially replaced my AC and installed a mini split. We were happy with their work, so they were the first place we called when we needed a new furnace and blower a few years later. That install also went great. It is rare to find a company that exceeds your expectations while being professional, polite, and competitive. I will be contacting Carrano Air & HVAC Contractors Inc. first for any future work.

Carrano Air HVAC Contractors, Inc. replaced and installed a new HVAC system on my building's roof. Other providers dismissed the request or indicated it couldn't be done because installing a new unit on the roof was too complicated. Their representatives were educated and quickly replaced the device while also removing the old one. Since then, I've hired them for all HVAC maintenance and repairs, and they've always been the best!
The replacement of a failing 20+ year old HVAC system was a quick and painless process. Carrano Air HVAC Contractors, Inc. worked miracles. An old metal scrap unit vanished from the Science and Industry Museum. The new unit's power and size are just what we require. This evaluation was written two weeks after experiencing the change. The heat pump is fantastic. Thank you very much. Highly recommended!
The people that did our installation work were from Carrano Air HVAC Contractors, Inc. They were approachable, competent, and total authorities in their field. Our installation took some time because it involved removing HVAC equipment that was 20 years old and installing new equipment on the roof of our unit and in a small furnace closet. They put in eight hours of constant labor to make sure everything was ideal and that all of our inquiries were addressed.
Thank you very much for the fantastic service! Our boiler caused a problem for my husband and me, but Carrano Air HVAC Contractors, Inc. rescued the day! Once again, many thanks for your prompt, seasoned, and professional service! And the cost was far lower than we had anticipated, and we now have heat again! great company
Carrano did a great job coming in when scheduled as promised, and knowledgeable. Diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered parts and returned to replace as promised. Herb, Alicia and Anthony were well coordinated! Would use them again!

Carrano air is the best. Had a problem with my ac unit and a technician came out within a day from a call. They determined the problem was caused by a storm that came thru the area and the owner worked with me and my insurance company to have a new unit installed. Within 2 days they installed the unit. I would recommend Carrano Air to family and friends.. Thank you Carrano Air!! Cathy H.
