My AC stopped working yesterday I called them and after a couple hours everything was done. They have reasonable prices
Air conditioner was not working properly. Rite Rate sent Remy to perform the repair. Needed freon and a good cleaning. Remy did a great job of diagnosing and fixing the issue. He is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Rite Rate did it right! When you call them for a repair, ask for Remy. Thank you!
You have to wonder about the integrity of a company who, when requesting an estimate to replace a water heater and fix some leaks, starts off telling you it's a $75 charge (rebated if they get the work), then tells you it's a $250 charge (for exactly the same estimate) when they discover you have just bought the property. Sure are some shark-infested waters around Ridgewood. Avoid.
We switched on our furnace for the first time this season as the weather is getting colder by day. The furnace didn't produce any heat. These guys got me an early appointment and sent a technician at the scheduled time. He diagnosed the unit and fixed it within thirty minutes. Great work and polite customer service. I highly recommend them.
I would go elsewhere if you're seeking an HVAC technician. Unlike other HVAC techs in the area, Rite Rate charges a flat fee for coming out to your home and they're not actually very good techs. They told me my central AC was un-repairable and that I needed a new system ($6-8k cost). But the next morning a tech from another company came out and fixed it in 20 mins! Rite Rate was prompt -- but if you want a good tech I would look elsewhere.
We recently bought our dream home and hired a couple of contractors for renovations and repairs. These guys were one of those contractors. The house came with an HVAC unit, and we needed it professionally serviced. Rite Rate squeezed our service call on a busy schedule. Our HVAC unit is working like a charm. We are very satisfied with this service.
I have to say I am genuinely impressed with this service. These guys are very skillful and honest. Our AC unit is around 15 years old. It uses R22 refrigerant, which is quite expensive. I was receiving some ridiculous prices for a few pounds of the refrigerant. This company gave me a price which was still expensive, but much less than others. We got our Freon recharge, but the technician revealed that the unit is leaking the refrigerant very slowly. Soon we will run out of Freons, again. He also told us that R22 will be eradicated from the entire world by 2020. We will have a new unit installed soon, but right now we have to make do with the old unit.
At first, it was just a leaking faucet in the bathroom. While I was considering possible solutions to this problem, the water heater broke. I found this service off the internet and I am glad it was the best choice. They fixed the water heater and the leaking faucet at an affordable rate and within my ideal timeframe. I am a satisfied customer.
This happened at two of my properties. At both places, the HVAC unit stopped blowing hot air. Tenants were suffering. I needed a reliable service that could finish both jobs at once. They assured me that they can send people to both places. They delivered on their promise and both units were fixed. Highly impressed with the service.
Just had a new condenser and coil installed and had some repairs done by these guys. Our prior AC cement was not level, they fixed it with some quick cement, got everything installed, and were super professional. The price also seemed very fair, I ran the quote by our realtor since we are getting ready to list and they also said it was very fair. I have nothing but good things to say about this team.
We had a terrible slab leak in our driveway that caused us to shut off our water every day before we left for work. We found them on Google and they worked with us every step along the way. They were always on time and kept us updated with what was going on. It's been over a month since the repairs and everything is running better than ever! I consider them my go-to for any issues I have in the future. Would work with them again 100%
I called this company for replacement of my water tank. The person who answered my call was extremely rude and unprofessional with such an attitude I have never experienced before. I asked politely, "Can you come and replace my water tank", and he goes someone has to visit the job site to see the size of the tank. So I told him I know that the size of the tank and then he goes "if you don't want to pay $95, find someone else. Don't waste our time. We are very busy". O.k. I called this company since they had perfect review but based on my experience they are not even 1 star.
Great Service! Called at 9.30 am, someone came in by 11.15 am. Fixed my AC in half hour. I thought I will have to replace my central air since it is a very old Unit. He said it is working perfectly. Very satisfied with the service. Will call them again if needed.
We recently moved the location of our salon. Water is super important at a hair salon (obviously) and everything that could have gone wrong did. We were able to reach the plumber who did our previous work (and we learned later used a lot of used parts -_-) and so we were recommended to this plumbers. They came right out (and we used them two more times) and they fixed the issues, were really pleasant, and didn't charge us anything ridiculous. I'm impressed. Thanks again!!!!
My toilet was making a dreadful whining noise and I was afraid it was going to be a huge problem and expensive but they fixed it no problem.
Have an old floor furnace and a plumber came out to evaluate and repair the fact that it was always shutting off. He adjusted the sensor flame, cleaned the sensor unit, and found the heater was in good working order. This gave me peace of mind. He even had a replacement cap for the heater in his truck (junked from a non-working heater) that fit just right! Thanks for the excellent customer service.
Came out yesterday to install a new thermostat for me. TOP NOTCH. On-time, super friendly, honest. He did the job at a great price. He told me all about the old heater we have - how to redirect the hot air, etc. I will definitely call them the next time we need anything for our furnace

I called about my busted water heater and within 2.5 hours I had a brand new water heater and a fixed garbage disposal. What more can i say!
