We used this company for an AC install and everything was fantastic. The guys did a great job, made sure to keep the areas they worked in clean, and did so in a timely manner. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. Thank you Cristopher, Jose, Joel, Mauricio, and Andrew!
Just install a mini split for the basement. Jose, Maurico, Christopher, Albert and Andrew all did a great job and were neat and professional.
Upon calling Bloomfield Cooling, Heating and Electric ( Little Falls NJ ) as a new customer I was assisted by their very caring and awesome customer services team. I found them to be very helpful in understanding the huge health impact of not having a Central AC system working for a 2nd floor apartment. ( indoor temperature ranged 85 - 90F for only a few days of unseasonably hot weather ). The customer services team coordinated technicians asap to make service calls for diagnostics and repair services. They provided follow up calls to confirm appointments all of which were kept on time as scheduled. When I met the first service technician he determined with diagnostic accuracy that I only required a new compressor ( which was under mfg warranty ) and new circuit breaker. An order was replaced with the mfg to get the new compressor part. The part order was fulfilled quickly to my delight. The 2 technicians that visited today - Christopher and Mauricio are excellent service technicians that went above and beyond the call of duty. They worked diligently in the driving rainy weather to repair my Central AC system with exceptional skills and knowledge to ensure the Central AC system was not only repaired properly but fine tuned and cleaned too. I would like to provide my deep appreciation to all the team members for an excellent job and highly recommend them.
I have to say that Richard, the technician, was really great. He arrived after hours, 7pm, during a storm just as our power went out as he was going to fix our AC which was on the fritz on a 90 degree day. He left since there was no power which came back on two minutes after he drove away. Not only did he return and fix the problem by replacing the capacitor but he was thorough, polite, very knowledgeable. These folks installed our unit 12 years ago and have maintained it since. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience start to finish. Seamless install of central AC in a 115 year old house. On time, polite, efficient - and cleaned up everything at the end of each day. My attic looks better than before they started! System works perfectly and the house is blessedly cool even though temps are in the 90s this week. AND the job cost significantly less than the price I was quoted by Airgroup and included more options. Many thanks to Mike, Anthony and the rest of the crew for a great job - if I need anything else, I know who I'm calling!
I used Bloomfield AC for the first time yesterday for a routine maintenance on two AC UNITS.Great Expierience. Rich the technician was polite,knowledgeable,and thorough.They are now my “go to” AC company.I have used many different company’s over the years. Simply put they are by far the best. John M.
I hired Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric Inc. to replace an entire old central AC system in our house in West Caldwell. This included replacing all the feeds in the attic, the air handler in the attic and the condenser outside. Tom Swartz, the salesperson, was very helpful in finding the right system for us and also followed up during the 2-day installation to make sure everything was going well. The technicians who worked on the replacement, Nestor, Tony, Aaron and Jake did an excellent with the installation making sure they cleaned up after and during the installation. I must say that they were very professional and did an excellent job. Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric Inc even sent an electrician to fix a recessed light in our hallway several days after the installation that was jarred out of place during the installation. I would definitely recommend Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric Inc for a central AC installation. We were extremely happy with their work.
Bloomfield has installed our generator, AC and furnace. We give them an A in each case and are thankful that we chose Bloomfield. Recently, Richard did a small repair on our Generac. He was perfect. Not a surprise because Bloomfield would hire only the best. This includes their office staff that I speak to, Laurie and Debbie. We highly recommend Bloomfield Cooling Heating and Electric.
Lucsonne arrived promptly to service our air conditioning system for the summer. He got right to work cleaning and checking indoor equipment, working steadily, never on the phone. When he serviced the units outside, he cleaned them thoroughly, hosing them down and leaving them looking like new. (To do that, he did not use our garden hose—which was handy—instead using one from his Bloomfield Cooling and Heating truck.) We do not usually write reviews, but today's service was exceptional.
BIG CORPORATE GREED They *may* install at a competitive rate, but will then charge $450 for a 15min coil clean (soapy water technology). Also, they do not return phone calls. EDIT: Their response is a complete lie! I never threatened to write a bad review. They never even called me back!
Aaron from Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric helped us out on an emergency basis. Could not have been more communicative or responded more quickly. We were very pleased! We have also used Bloomfield for other services and have never been disappointed. Very professional and trustworthy company!
The service tech Aaron, was great. He arrived on time, was efficient, and polite. He ran tests to find the problem. He explained the issue and fixed it. It is not always fun when you have to call for a heater service… but I felt really happy I did and that my heater was working again. My go to place for hvac. Thank you
We just had 2 Carrier ductless split air conditioners installed by Bloomfield Cooling, Heating and Electric in Little Falls.My husband and I were very impressed with the professionalism of this company from start to finish. Our salesman, Tom Swarts, was very knowledgeable, accommodating and pleasant to work with. He even stopped by a few times to make sure the installation went smoothly, which it most certainly did! Electricians Andrew, Anthony and the rest of the crew knew exactly what needed to be done, and expertly began their work as soon as they arrived at 8 AM. Their work ethic, knowledge and evident expertise made my husband and I feel very confident that this installation would be perfect, and that it was! And they even clean up after their work was completed. The ductless air conditioners are beautiful, and we’re so happy we made the decision to do this. Thank you so much Tom, Andrew, Anthony and crew for taking such good care of us with your competence and skill!
My name is Randy Technician (Aaron) and Customer Service Representative (Diane) were awesome. Being a Customer Service Representative myself for many years i really appreciated Diane for working with me to get the technician to my house earlier so that i would be able to drive my daughter to work. Aaron was kind, considerate and meticulous. I appreciate a technician who pays attention to the particulars and does not leave any stone unturned when it comes to his work. I know that with the maintenance done on my boiler i could rest assured that all is well with my equipment. I asked some questions and I got great answers. All in all, I appreciate the attentiveness that these two individuals gave to me in my time of need. These are the kind of people you need when you want a business and or company to excel. This is what makes a client call back year after year. Thank You for the special attention you gave to me. Moved into a new home with an old boiler, so called Bloomfield Heating and Cooling to give it a good cleaning. Aaron was more than professional, arrived on time, explained the cleaning process and answered my questions. I have decided to move forward with his recommended repairs and I plan to call yearly for my boiler cleaning. Several local family members have also been happy customers for decades.
We called Bloomfield Cooling, Heating, & Electric, Inc for an emergency with our heater. Our fan was making a crazy buzzing sound and would not spin. And of course, it was very cold and it was on Friday evening. Richard came out early the next day and diagnosed the issue. We wound up needing a new fan which would have normally taken a long time to order, not taking into consideration the shortage and delays from COVID. Bloomfield Cooling, Heating, & Electric, Inc. was able to source the fan and have it installed in just a few days. The install was quick and they took the extra step to find out for us that our system is still under warranty which helped with the cost. Bloomfield Cooling, Heating, & Electric, Inc and Richard went above and beyond to help our family. The ladies in the office were also a wonderful help in the scheduling process. Thank you everyone.
These guys always come through for me when I need them! Anytime I have a heating or AC emergency they are able to come right away and take care of the problem. I recently had a problem with my boiler and gave them a call. My tech, Joe Colombo, took care of the issue properly and gave me some great advice as far as maintaining the unit. I highly recommend!
Very disappointed with this company. Technician went to my house and he was very informative and polite. He diagnosed the problem and said most likely was a leak that would be very expensive to repair. He took the time to go into the house so he could see what the problem was with the heating. At the end I was not sure if I wanted to the spend the money, so he said his supervisor would contact me. Someone from the office called me today 11/26 to follow up. She said they don't work with the brand of units I have. So when I said why did you come to my house not knowing the brand, and why the technician didn't even look at the brand? She put me on hold, when she came back she said that the problem was the leak and how much it would cost, and she also said I should contact the manufacturer and find out who service that brand. Off course I told I didn't want to do business with them. Very unprofessional. If they only service some specific brands, they should make sure of the brand the customer has.
I've continued to have very good experiences with Bloomfield Cooling and Heating over the more than 18 years I've been using them. Today, I had a new technician performing the winter service, Richard. He was professional, kind, personable and respectful. He addressed the issue I was having and offered a clear and helpful explanation, always asking if I had more questions. It was a pleasure to have him here doing the work and he's a reason I'll call them again for service. Richard is a credit to your company. Thank you.
Today Fitzroy came to my home (early - but waited until the time window opened - I was told from 7.30AM to 8.30AM) at 7.30AM and was such a kind, considerate and efficient tech I had to call the receptionist and let her know how impressed I was. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! I highly recommend the company and their employees!
