Was with petro for a couple of years.i asked them if they could put me on a budget plan I was told no. I asked for a lower price per gallon I was told no. I switched to natural gas best decision I ever made. I'm paying 70% less on my heating bill. Anyone who has propane I'm telling you call new jersey natural gas. They will install meter for free.all you have to do is have someone run a line from meter to furnace. It's a no brainer

Scammers. Tried to tell me I had to fill my tank every few months even if it wasn’t needed and find out they deliver when oil is at the highest and you pay the cost for it. Asked if they had a minimum which I was originally told it was 150 gallons. Then the story changes and I have come home on two occasions with my tank filled 1200 dollars later and if you can’t pay it in full you keep occurring late fees. I will go to the company everyone else is using which is Dover Oil it’s cheaper and they don’t force you to fill your tank. Beware of the excuses they give you on why you have to fill it completely.
Fastest response time of any service. Fixed right on the first try every time. We're a 25yr Loyal Petro customer. We use them in 3 different locations in 2 states and they are the very best.
Petro offers great, reliable service. Their technician Joe Harper is second to none. He's super pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough and offers helpful tips on keeping your heating unit running efficient. When Joe services my boiler, I never have problems and my boiler unit runs clean and efficient. Mind you, my oil fired boiler unit is 30 years old. Joe has been servicing my unit for over 20 years. My boiler runs like new and I expect the unit to run efficienctly for another 30 years!! I give Joe Harper 10 stars.
A wonderful company to deal with. Every time I have needed to contact Petro my call has been answered by a person who is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Delivery is always quick and on schedule.

They deliver gas to us when our tank goes low. They are super nice! I started using them 4 1/2 years ago when I moved to NJ and I do not regret it. I googled the best company and they had amazing reviews. They are so amazing! The owners before us used Amerigas but they had terrible reviews so I was hesitant to continue with them. I’m certainly glad I chose Petro! We plan on being a customer for life! Thank you for your wonderful service!
Best prices, quick consistent service. Wish I thought to use them when I had my furnace replaced. I’m certain I was ripped off by another company who I believe came in a sabotaged my furnace so they could come back later to claim it needed to be replaced at twice the cost of what Petro would have charged.

I have used Petro for My heating and air Conditioning needs since moving to NJ. Always prompt assistance and professional service. I have a service contract for both my heating and central air systems and they are very transparent with Both cost and what is Covered.They remind Me to make my routine Annual Service appointments and recently when My fan blower Went out they came Out Next day and repaired it promptly and completely and it was 100% covered under My service contract. Very Satisfied customer.
