Please avoid American Airflow / Climate Plus at all costs! Very disappointed in them esp given their great reviews!! They promised that the boiler had been fully serviced by top technician and in perfect condition only for it to go out of operation in 1 week. Had to call a new guy and they mentioned that nothing really had been serviced on the boiler recently. Was gutted to hear that! They over-charged multiple times market price for radiator vents and charged much more than normal for AC servicing. They also promised free dryer vent cleaning to never follow-up on that. When we called multiple times they said that they will mail a check for that which we never received. Unprofessional and not true to their words! Please avoid them if you can!
American Airflow maintained my system for several years but I knew it was time to replace the furnace and a/c. Two months ago they helped me understand which units to select and WHY. I also got an air cleaner and Honeywell remote thermostat. My house is so much cleaner and the portable thermostat comes upstairs at night to keep my upstairs a comfortable temperature. Everyone there is very nice to to do business with.
American Airflow is one of the few companies remaining that still delivers outstanding customer service. They don't outsource their work to cheaper companies who deliver mediocre service. They are easily reachable and available, keep you updated of everything from scheduling to servicing (they text or call to keep you informed of developments and when they're arriving for service), have reasonable prices and perform outstanding installation work and servicing. They abide all regulations (i.e., permits and approvals). They also put on booties before entering your home. This shows their level of consideration for their customers and attention to detail.
Dear friends, Over the 20 years in our home, we never did full air duct cleaning. When we learned that this service is now performed by our friends from American Airflow in Hawthorne, we decided to give it a try. I'll admit we were nervous about how it would happen. But the specialist team leaded by David perfectly executed the entire job in 10 hours. The air is easier to breathe in our house and the new Americal Airflow humidifier is working well. The American Airflow technicians just left my home after doing a checkup on my heating system. They were on time, clean, professional and thorough. They updated me on the condition of my heating system and gave me tips to keep it in great shape. I had taken out the Comfort Care program and it's the best money I've spent on my home in a long time. Great to know I don't have to worry about my heat for the rest of this winter!
We hired American Airflow to look at our humidifier and they pointed out several issues with our system that were defunct. The humidistat from the previous installer was located in a place where it was not properly reading our homes humidity, the water source was tapped off the cold water supply reducing the system’s efficiency and the solenoid was not opening. American Airflow quoted us with 2 solutions for repair and replace and because of our units design and position we opted for replacement. The work was scheduled within the same week and was prompted completed in about 3 hours. American Airflow installed a new digital humidistat at the proper location in the duct work, tapped off the hot water supply to improve efficiency, replaced some duct work replaced the drain line, installed an outside humidity probe and of course a new humidifier. The quality of the work and pride that the technician took in it was extremely impressive. After having the unit running now for a few days we have noticed an improvement in how our home holds heat, our furnace does not turn on as often. We will be considering American Airflow for our future heating and cooling needs and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work done in their home and looking for the work to be done right.

Excellent service...I have a heat pump and was not generating enough heat during our recent freezing weather. ( I'm talking 65-60 room temps)...I called Ruff Cutt and since they don't do forced air systems..they recommended that I call American Air Flow...so happy I did... Brian, the tech, checked out the situation (my unit is only 1 1/2 yrs old) and after thoroughly checking everything out..saw that the wiring was wrong from the initial installation (by another company) and did his thing..my system is now working properly ....Brian offered me the twice a year check-up policy..which of course I took.for $179. With that, the initial visit fee of $89. was waived and 20% was taken off the rest of the invoice...very pleased..Brian is a big asset to American Air Flow...and oh yes.. Brian also put in a new filter..so I am now a very happy and warm camper..
I've used American Airflow for two pretty sizable jobs in my home, and they've been excellent to work with both times. Bobby and his team are extremely courteous and patient, taking the time to evaluate and explain the work in detail. Most recently, I had to have a very old HVAC system replaced. The proposal/pricing, service and end result were all superb. I'd recommend them anytime!
They squeezed us in last minute. They called me when the technician was in the area and sent me a text with the technicians name. Lastly, they saved me a TON of money by just replacing the needed part instead of replacing the whole unit.
A minor job, to get freon out of an decommissioned system. Very prompt communication, the company tech showed on time, work was done quickly. Gave a few pointers concerning the new system installation. Thanks.
Joined Comfort Club for the semiannual servicing of cooling and heating systems. This gives a 20% discount of repair work and no diagnostic charge. Brian was very thorough in his replacement of filters and checking of all systems. Even pointed out areas that were potentially hazardous. He did a great job!
