We wanted conventional AC ducts installed in our 100 year-old house, with the goal of preserving the aesthetics and character of our home. We received quotes from 6 different heating/cooling companies, but most tried to sell us on mini-splits or high velocity AC because the conventional duct work would be difficult. However, Sanford listened to our goals and worked with us to find solutions. Mark made 3 visits to our home to design a plan that met our goals. The end result was exactly what we were looking for! The vents are inconspicuous and look as if they have always been there. The installation crew, led by Kyle and Brian, was very experienced, efficient and courteous. We couldn't be happier with our experience and the outcome! We would definitely recommend Sanford for heating and cooling needs.

I’ve dealt with a lot of companies over the years but Sanford has given me the best experience to date. All the people there are courteous, professional and more than willing to insure all your needs are met and you completely satisfied. I had a Carrier mini split system installed by Sanford and the whole process from Giving me an estimate to the actual installation was absolutely flawless. Every one involved were polite and patient when I had questions. They new exactly what they were doing. I had complete confidence in all they did. Sanford keeps you updated on when there coming will always work around your schedule. They are very flexible to insure that you are completely satisfied with everything from front to back. They also stand behind there products in the event of a repair. I had a repair done recently and Jason and Joshua came out to perform the repair. They were on time completely prepared. Had everything they needed to complete it. (I don’t how many times I’ve had other repair work done on other things in my home only to hear, “I’ll have to order the parts it Could be a week or two” Never once has that happened with Sanford. Always prepared, on time, polite, respectful and very patient in regard to insuring the customer’s questions are answered in full. Ricky, the service manager is fantastic! I’ve dealt with him on several occasions. Each and every time he is patient and is genuinely concerned about your problem and always makes sure all your needs are met. If your considering installing air conditioning or heating in your home, Hands down Sanford is the best company I’ve ever dealt with. If I could give 20 stars I would. I assure you, you WILL NOT go wrong with Sanford…

Kyle was fantastic lead installer/instructor. The team didn’t take a (5) minute break all day. I asked a million questions while he was working. He politely answered and explained the entire boiler install process. He explained all the intricacies of the new boiler. He gave me several tips on things to be aware of. The young gentleman has a wealth of knowledge. Your install team of Kyle and Rick works like a well oiled machine.

Kyle did a great job. The new unit is small and fits on the wall. He had two very good work mates that he was directing, Jared and Rick. They worked well together. Kept things neat. Cover cloth on ground. They were in and out in five hours with lunch. Sanford is highly recommended as an installer and maintainer. I'm happy they come to Washington.

My boiler stopped working right before the coldest day of the year. They came out very quick. I decided I wanted to switch from oil to propane so they helped me coordinate everything with the propane company. I believe I had about 6 of their guys in my house the past few days. I think their names were Derek, Kyle, Rick, Mark Jared, and Mike. All of them were very nice and professional. Especially Mark who gave me his cell phone number and answered a billion of my questions. Furthermore, I really appreciate that when something came up and the propane company needed Sanford to come over Dereck came over right away before our agreed time which was supposed to be later that day.

Our generator fried our furnace induction motor. Brett came out, diagnosed the issue correctly, got the part quickly and installed it correctly. He was very pleasant and bright. He also passed the “Tobie test” like no one else has (ask him what that is). On that alone he deserves 10 stars.

I gave this company a two and not a one because they were friendly and prompt, but value wise, I don’t know if I’ve ever felt this overcharged by a business in my life. Thought I needed a new thermostat, requested that they bring a programmable one. I had already purchased a $25 one online, but was unsure if it would work with my system. I was told there’d be a $120 fee to come out- fine, I get it, they all have that. The tech gets there and is unsure if it’s my thermostat or something else. Says the new thermostat is $583!!! I told him that was really expensive, and I was unsure, said I already had one but my husband just didn’t know how to install it. Tech says it could be installed, you just need to know how, but instead of saying we could pay to have him do it, he tells me he could just leave and my husband can install the one I bought if I don’t want the $583 one, which would mean I would’ve payed $120 for a person to tell me they have an expensive thermostat I can buy. So I decide it must be a really nice, expensive thermostat (he told me they have to make their money somewhere when I said it was really expensive) and bite the bullet. He installs it. Heat still doesn’t work. He flushed the lines. Heat seems to work, he leaves. I wake up in the morning, and the heat is still not working; obv not the new thermostat. Just for giggles I check the price of this thermostat online- $83. I was up charged $500!!!! I understand an up charge and service fee, but $500??? I cried thinking about how much money I spent on something I probably could’ve learned to install myself by watching YouTube! I’m mostly mad at myself for not checking before I said yes, but also upset that this company would take advantage of people in that way. I already paid the $120 for diagnostics and whatever other tacked on cost. Some people in the US can barely afford to feed themselves right now- how could anyone feel good about doing that to working people? Not to mention the problem isn’t eve
