603 Oil Burner Services installed my new heating system in Hanover, NH in December 2023. I selected this business after much careful research. I am impressed beyond belief with Peter’s and Kyle’s (the business owners) high standards of professionalism, honesty, workmanship, expertise, and total commitment to making my experience the very best possible. Peter and Kyle never promised the least expensive oil burner system and installation. They did promise to provide me complete information the make reasonable decisions in terms of brand of boiler to purchase, etc., and high quality work and service. Peter and Kyle repaired major problems with my radiators that far exceeded expectations at the time my contract was signed, and did not charge me for the extra work. I am convinced that had I gone with a large company (e.g., the company that supplies my heating oil), I would not have received as much value for my investment.
Spoke with owner about propane conversion for our dryer. He was super responsive. Sent technician to do the conversion. Kyle was very respectful, knowledgeable and friendly. I’ll definitely be using 603 OBS again!
I called my local oil company after waking up to find my furnace was not running, and I had already tried most of the resets and basic homeowner stuff with no success. They could not help me, and the service people they suggested wanted almost a mortgage payment to stop by my house just to see what the issue was. After a quick search, I located 603, and they were close by. I called them and got a real person who said he would be happy to help. He came right over and arrived when he said he would. Super personable and beyond qualified. In no time, he had figured out the issue, cleaned and repaired my entire system, and fixed a long-running hot water issue. And in the end, he charged me a fair price and offered follow up service if needed. I can’t say enough about this company. If you are in the Hillsboro area and are looking for a quality HVAC service company, I can highly recommend 603! They have truly earned my business, and I already have them on my calendar for next years’ service. Other companies should take a page out of their customer service approach. Not only were they highly professional they were upfront and honest about everything. They told me it was going to take about 2-4 week for the boiler to come in and all the parts. They were amazing with communication about the process to replace, move, and repipe the new system. They also were super animal friendly as well. I will never go anywhere else for my home needs as this father and son team are the best.
Job not finished, had to wait a long time till they did other jobs then wanted to charge extra to finish the original job after they cashed the check for the job

Pete answered promptly, and had availability on short notice even during peak season. Even better, his price was the best around for the work performed. Would not hesitate to call again when needed!
When our heating system was acting up last winter, we reached out to 603 OBS. Peter and Kyle came out to take a look and have a further discussion of the issues. Somewhere along the line someone had installed a lot of things wrong and caused numerous issues with baseboard zones and radiant zones that were never hooked up. Peter and Kyle did an amazing job with the new boiler, piping, and all new zone circulator pumps. They went above and beyond my expectations and took pride in their work. I would recommend them for any future work.
Pete worked tirelessly on our problematic two year old boiler that was never set up or worked correctly, going through it with a fine tooth comb. Our boiler had been experiencing incomplete combustion causing a dangerous carbon monoxide problem that went undiagnosed and unaddressed by our previous service company, as well as stinking up our house with exhaust fumes. He also made some tweaks and brought our off boiler hot water heater up to code, and installed an inline fan to induce a good draft up our chimney, as well as rerouting our exhaust pipes from the boiler into the chimney to make it safe and code compliant. We are so grateful for all of this after two years of issues - 603 Oil Burner Services are our boiler people from now on, and we would highly recommend them to anyone! Update 10/19/20 - Pete has since done some follow up maintenance on our heating system and installed new anodes for our hot water tank. Still extremely happy with his service and the value of the detail-oriented work he does. Thanks again.

We just bought a mobile home with a furnace that hadn't been serviced in 3 years. We called a large local company who played around with it for a bit, got it to run and then left. It never ran after that. They never mentioned it was running at 60% efficiency or how bad the electrical was. We called these guys since they had good reviews. Kyle found out we had an air leak somewhere in the system and Peter showed us where the burner was completely broken apart and shorting it out. We decided to do a new furnace from them. They gave us a reasonable but worst case estimate, showed up on time, hauled the old furnace away and got it installed in just a few hours. They even swept up when they were done. They came in way under estimate and did an amazing job. I would recommend them to anyone I know, the price was very reasonable and they did an excellent job. I definitely would have thought we were going to pay a premium for the care they took and how good it looks now

Peter and his son Kyle from 603 Oil Burner were excellent to work with! Our home had been hit by lightning and our boiler was no longer working. Peter was quickly able to come out to our house and give us a quote to submit to insurance. He then completed all the work quickly and even better then it was installed initially. The best part about 603 is they can handle lots of different types of handy man jobs. I will be calling 603 again soon!

Peter and Kyle recently installed a new furnace for me. This was not a purchase I was thrilled to make but it was necessary. I could not have been more pleased with the work that they did. The price was reasonable and they went the extra mile to ensure that I was satisfied in every detail. The town inspector commented on the quality of the installation. Earlier this month they came back to restore some weathered windows and replace some aging face boards. The work was completed efficiently and was up to professional standard. The old wood was removed along with a large quantity of odd materials that had been housing bugs under my porch for longer than I’ve owned the house. Once again, great work done. I have always tended to hire people based on my sense of them. I would recommend Peter and Kyle without reservation.
