I had them come out and fix my backyard facuet. They showed up on time were very friendly. Joe let me know what they would have to do and the cost. Once I approved they went right to work and they were very clean. Butch and Joe are great customer service! Thank you Theresa
Very happy with the service I received after being told my furnace was leaking carbon dioxide from another company. To get another opinion they were able to come the next morning and inspect and clean and said nothing is wrong with my unit. Good and honest people running this company. I will continue using this company for future services.
We are tenants who have had temps reach over 80 degrees and over multiple times for 2 weeks. I called to discuss the lack of action and effective maintenance asking to be transferred to someone whose paycheck includes dealing with irate customers. Laura declined and decided to address my criticisms. Her reasons are: We do not have the parts. This is a mechanical problem and it's not a simple problem. It's not our fault we are cleaning up someone else's mess. Translation we can't do anything, be patient, there is no plan. My wife's chronic pain was down to almost nothing before all this started. Thanks to the repeated schedule failures, part finding failures, the fallout is that she is in a full fibro and migraine flare. Even if the AC comes back it will take DAYS possibly over a WEEK for the flare to subside. Thank you desert air for the unwanted oven experience!
***Save your time and money. Don't use this company*** My apartment complex uses this company. The a/c has been out for 2 weeks now. They were supposed to be out to fix it at the end of the first week. They didn't show. Apartment complex calls to find out why. "It fell through the cracks" with the installer from this -glorious- company. Apt complex calls again. The soonest they could get out was the next Friday. (04/28/2023) They send a new person out today, who didn't even know what they were supposed to be doing. Now they are claiming they 'dont have the parts'.
Just tried to schedule HVAC appointment and rep was hugely unprofessional and disorganized. Couldn’t figure out how to book an appointment. Won’t be using them for sure!! Beware
The heat in my rental unit stopped working. Greg was able to quickly assess and diagnosis the issue. He had to order in a replacement part and went above and beyond to have someone drop-off two electric heaters while the part was being overnighted. Greg followed-up the next day to install the new part. I would highly recommend Desert Air!
Thanks Steven. You are a gem! Thanks for diagnosing and fixing my drain. Your commitment to great service and quality work was amazing and so appreciated.
Desert Air is my favorite company to use. My bathroom sink faucet broke and I was able to get it repaired within the same day it happened, at a low cost too. While they were fixing my faucet, they noticed that the toilet handle was loose too and they fixed it as well. Desert Air also services my HVAC system, I have no complains about them. Their technicians are all so professional. They always give me a call before they head out to my home, to make sure I'm home or that I'm ready for them. I always recommend Desert Air to everyone I know, because I know they're the best company in town.
**Get a second opinion. Save $100's**. I had changed the batteries in my thermostat and the heater stopped working. After playing around with the thermostat and the heater I called Desert Air for diagnostic service ($129). The tech came out and I informed him that I changed the batteries in the thermostat and now the unit isn't working. The tech in examining the heater unit said the thermostat is getting power so the issue is not the thermostat. After further examination the tech said I needed a new furnace control panel at a cost of $660. I decided to get a second opinion. I had another company come out and I explained that the unit stopped working after I changed the batteries in the thermostat. The tech looked at the thermostat and said the problem looks like that the thermostat is not fully pressed in to engage. You have to really make sure the unit is pressed into the wall. He took the thermostat off the wall and made sure to line it up. THE HEATER WENT ON! The tech said that yes, the furnace would show power going to the thermostat, but as the thermostat was not fully engaged it was not sending any signal to the furnace to start. The tech said Desert Air should have inspected the thermostat. The tech checked out the control board to make sure there were no issues and said the board was fine. He said it was good that I got a second opinion as most people would have paid to replace the board and that wasn't the issue and would not have fixed the problem. I called Desert Air and explained the above to them as I feel that I should not have to pay the full diagnostic fee. The representative said they will speak to their manager and call me back. The representative called back to say that the spoke with the service technician and he states the control board is bad. I informed the representative that I don't agree as a second company said the board is fine and the unit works now that the thermostat is seated correctly. Please always get a second opin
I originally had them come to my place to light an oil furnace in my rental. I was quoted at $140 per hour which I felt was fair. Technician came out and found that the blower motor was not functioning and will need to be replaced. Let him know it was a rental and I would not be paying for the replacement so he buttoned it up and left. He got there at 11:58am and was gone by 1 at the absolute latest. I get a call from their dispatch to pay the invoice and to my surprise it is $210. I asked what they were charging for and they said diagnostic on the broken heater. I asked where the extra $70 came from and they said "Drive time from one job to the next". I was completely shocked as I had never heard of this before. I thought "maybe hvac charges this" so I called Lincoln Heating and Air and they were just as shocked as I was to hear that someone is charging for drive time!! Definitely will never be using them for any hvac needs. They are absurd to charge a drive time fee at full hourly rates. He only drove 15 min to get to my rental so I guess I'm paying for him to go to the next job as well? Outright ridiculous.
Great service!
I had Desert Air perform a trenchless sewer line pipe bursting replacement on my 70 year old disintegrating sewer line. I shopped many estimates for the job and Desert air got the bid based on good recommendations, reviews, price, and customer service. After Daniel came out for the initial estimate, i still had questions and concerns being a large, pricey project. So the owner, Spencer, came out to my house and answered all my questions in a very honest and friendly manner before I agreed to the bid. I very much appreciated Spencer's candor having dealt with other companies that give a very predatory vibe that will try and squeeze as much cash out of you as possible. Not the case here. The job itself took 4 days right on pace with the estimate of 3-4 days. The 2 main workers at my house, Daniel and Martin, were very friendly and worked in a clean and professional manner. Daniel was able to answer questions I had during the job and quickly problem solved a possible issue of a water main pipe being in the way of the repair. After the job was done they did an excellent job returning my front yard to it's previous state. and the job price came in the same price as the estimate. I will definitely use and recommend Desert Air in the future.
Greg was so professional, knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it, then even went above and beyond for us by adding a copper conduit to the wire to prevent any further damage! I will be recommending Desert Air to everyone I know! Edit : I also forgot to mention this, and it is key - this was an emergency fix! I had my new puppy destroy some low voltage wire on my ac unit outside, shut the entire system down. I called and they suddenly had an opening available and called me right back! Thank you Jillian for the call back and sending Greg! My house is perfectly cool now only a couple hours later 😊
Matt came out and quickly fixed our AC. Very professional and friendly. Desert Air LLC is the best in town. Adam arrived quickly and was very professional and friendly. He got our AC working and diagnosed the underlying problem which other AC services could not fix but Adam can! Very good communication, prices and professionalism. We highly recommend Desert Air LLC.
Donovan and Greg were excellent. Dedicated polite thorough and diligent. I would absolutely use them again
Last week I called Desert Air LLC about my furnace, because it's pretty old. I think I have about two more seasons and that's about it. I wanted to save some money. I'm writing because I wanted to compliment the young lady that answered the phone. It was so refreshing to speak to a costumer service person who so polite and respectful. I did ask a lot of questions and she was very patient, I think her was Jasmine but I'm not sure. She was great ! I'll check in with you guys next season.
Matt gave a very professional and thourough inspection of HVAC equipement. Explained in detail the issues and best practices given the age of the equipment. Thank you for the excellent service! Price was 150/ unit (so 300 total). I called around town to compare prices. Not many offer inspections. This seems to be the going rate and it was definitely value for the money. In my view, price is not a reason to give a bad review so I give them 5 stars based on excellent service.
I called
Great service, great price, quality installation! I had Desert Air install a split pump (AC & heat) for my upstairs bedroom and I couldn’t be happier. Matt and Donovan did a top-notch job and were very pleasant through the entire process. Thanks very much.
They are expensive however efficient.
