We are very thankful to Hawthorne for coming out quickly in a busy season to remove and replace our leaking water heater. Nick was a clear professional and a huge help. The install went so smoothly and it was nice to have this peace of mind on a very chaotic day. Absolutely worth it and will rec to anyone.
Technician Nick was awesome. Polite, friendly & easy to communicate with. He brought everything up to code.. I recommend this company to anybody that needs a good plumber. I gave this company 5 stars. Which I never do for any business or service. I commend them for their good work. Great job, guys, and thank you again.
I have been very impressed with the quality of the work done by Hawthorne Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. Terry was wonderful. He took care of my heating unit. He was efficient, friendly and took care of everything. I also got a hot water heater through them and was impressed with Daniel who installed the unit and Nate who checked everything out later. I am only going to use them for my plumbing, heating and cooling needs in the future.
They have done work for me before so I called them for another job. They wanted $59 for a quote. Oh well, I guess I will go with a plumber that didn't charge to tell me what it would cost.
I called this company to come troubleshoot a leak at my water meter. The tech came out and did troubleshoot or that is what he said he did. He told me the leak was in my main water line and was 100% confident. He then proceeded to tell me I had to replace my entire main line because it was so hard to find parts. The quotes started at $7000 and up from there. Of course I got second opinions and found out it was the irrigation valve that was the problem. I would stay away from a company like this and if you do use them, get a second opinion if they tell you need major work. Thankfully, we did not use them.
Terry and Hugo came to my house today to do maintenance on my heating unit. I can not give them a higher rating. They were both professional, kind and friendly. They walked me through every step of what they were doing so I had a better understanding. You could tell they both care about what they’re doing and take pride in doing things right. I am very grateful for them both and I am appreciating my warm house. Thanks for everything gentlemen!
The person who answered the phone was courteous and explained everything in a professional manner including the pricing. She sent a technician the same day and Daniel was also very courteous and professional plus being on time and knowledgeable. He helped me understand the problem and gave me a reasonable estimate and options to consider to fix the problem. He was thorough and took time to make sure he answered all my questions. I was very impressed with the service I received and highly recommend Daniel and this company.
Excellent customer service when scheduling the appointment. Anthony was polite, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. Plumbing prices can always have some sticker shock, but he explained the cost breakdown and I felt confident I was getting quality service for a fair price. I will absolutely be using them again!
We set up an appointment through their website and a few days before the appointment they called to reschedule because they gave our appointment to an elderly couple. We have two babies and we’re using space heaters to heat our house. We accepted the new date and they called again to reschedule because a job was taking up two days unexpectedly and the next appointment wasn’t for another two weeks and we were gearing up for a snow storm. We told them we had two kids and needed the job done they said the soonest was November 18th. We turned around and called Sierra air who got use scheduled that same week and right before the snow storm. They completed the job fast and way cheaper than Hawthorne told us as estimate. Really unprofessional to reschedule multiple times on a client. Your booking issues are not the customers problem.
Anthony (Technician) was very professional, friendly, and went above and beyond with fixing my kitchen faucet. He even helped me with selecting a new faucet. Would highly recommend. 5 stars! Thank you! A little pricey but worth it for Anthony's great customer service.
Please let me tell you, I called these guys on a Friday, (A professional reception) they sent a tech the same day, (when they said they would) and made the repairs the same day as well. I was given options for the repairs, which were fully explained. The tech, Anthony, was polite, experienced, and professional. I highly recommend Hawthorne Plumbing. I am not affiliated or related to them in any way. A very rare and pleasant experience.
I've had to call these guys a couple of times for emergency situations. I've never had a hard time getting through and even scheduled same-day. The technicians are knowledgable and quick with an estimate. Javier came out today and was able to solve a leaking pipe in the crawl space this afternoon. He replaced 2 failing joints and a pipe within a few hours. When my ancient water heater failed, Nick was able to get quote us for a removal and tankless install that afternoon and the work was done cleanly and efficiently with good long-term care options. Take care of your plumbing people! But I would call Hawthorne for any pressing matters and then some.
Jay and Terry came by my place to troubleshoot my HVAC system. I was blown away with their professionalism and willing to explain to me what they were doing. I asked several questions and learned a lot from the experience as well. Rather than just telling me to buy a new unit, they really dug deep into all the possibilities. Still some work to be done, but no regrets calling this company as it was clear the two technicians were honest professionals just looking to help me out with my problem. Great experience!!!
Horrible service, Took day's to get the job done. Tried to charge me a weekend fee when nothing was done on the weekend. Very rude technician that left his trash from doing the repairs in front of my house on the ground. The only good thing was the supervisor who helped minimize the price. Would not recommend or use this service again.
Good job, great price and got the job done right. *** July 2022 Update. *** 3rd call to Hawthorne for help with water problem. This time I was charged $499. to replace 7 inches of pipe, and there was still a drip coming from somewhere. Asked them to check again thinking it should have been caught on the first visit. They came out again and determined the drip was coming from the same pipe but in a different area so It would cost me $300 something more. Though they did negotiate it down to $200 something I opted to have someone else check. Before I could do that the remediation fellow said it was really coming from my hot water faucet in the bathroom. Needless to say, I didn't use Hawthorne, nor will I again.
I had a tech named jay, he was amazing! He had a great way to lay all the information out in layman’s terms. Great guy, 5/5 job👍🏽
I had a tenant complain about a leak and Hawthorne Plumbing was able to come out within that day and fixed it. David is amazing, very personable and knowledgeable!
The guy was so nice and he checked everything out including Vance and batteries we even have an annual package that we’re doing and we’re very happy with Hawthorne Plumbing
