My first call was to a large home AC service company for help with my home. I was not prepared for the amount of upselling I received. I then called The AC guys for a second opinion. Wow what a difference!!!! Very pragmatic approach with friendly, skilled and professional staff. The first impression was perfect. I will follow up after the repairs are complete!

This is going to sound a bit biased but this is a great company, they won't try to oversell you on something you don't need, they will give you a new unit purchase as a recommendation, but they 99% of the time push the repairs you need over a new unit. I personally know they try not to leave a call until they figured out everything they can and did everything in their power to get your AC back to running to almost new spec conditions. They work long hours and barely see their families so the residents of Las Vegas can have cold air in the summer and hot air in the winter.

After trying numerous companies, we finally found one that is amazing! The AC Guys installed a brand new system about 3 years ago. They come out on time, every time. They are great people, have incredible work ethic, and are honest and caring men and women. From the ladies that answer the phones to the guys that show up at your house...they are super kind, helpful and trustworthy. Aug 2019 update! Still very pleased with the customer service at The AC guys! Tony was out today for a minor issue and he is always so helpful! From Melanie taking my call this morning and squeezing me into their day to the arrival of Tony, you can count on them to update you, communicate with you, and solve the problem pretty quick and efficiently. Always a pleasure to do business with The AC Guys!

They simply are amazing! From the first call on forward. They take the time to figure it out and get things fixed. Questions were answered and i feel comfortable when i need to ask questions. My A/C suddenly stopped cooling! I have two dogs waiting at home. I called A/C guys at 7am. She was very friendly. I had to go to work and told her that I would like to make an appointment after 5:30p. She made an arrangement. Technician James came on time and he checked everything for half an hour. He found the problem and fixed it. He explained what the problem was and charged less amount I expected. Thank you very much!

I highly recommend The AC Guys! We had a new unit installed the right way that is running perfectly! They had it installed right away and provided a temporary AC unit until the new unit was installed. My AC had went out yesterday evening. It just so happened that The A/C Guys were installing a new unit at my neighbors house. I walked over there and asked if they would perhaps be able to come over and take a look at my AC. I had spoken to Troy, who as it turns out is their Field Supervisor. He said that they would stop by as soon as they had things squared away at my neighbors house. I swear it must have been only 30 minutes later, when there was a knock at my door. The first thing i noticed was how tired Troy looked. I told him if he would rather come back another time, I would understand. He said that they had just completed a 12 hour install of a high efficiency unit, but that he would be happy to take a look at my AC. He even said that worst case scenario, if he wasn't able to fix it last night, he had some portable AC's in his van that he could leave with me, until he was able to come back to service my unit!!! Troy had showed us a cost/benefit analysis of repairing vs replacing our unit. With our unit being an older model, it didn't make a whole lot of sense to repair it when it will inevitably need another repair, after repair, after repair. He was so very knowledgeable, detailed, and honest, doing what he could to work within our budget. We opted to go with the 18 Seer High Efficiency unit. The unit is scheduled to be installed tomorrow, ON THE FOURTH OF JULY. In the meanwhile we are nice and comfortable with temporary AC. I am so incredibly impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and work ethic of this company, and would highly recommend!!!

Tech was great, honest. His boss however tried to upcharge us for everything. Sold us a $51 thermostat for $246.54. (That we did not need) It is a 5 minute install, and the tech was already there and we'd already pay the fee for the service call. Sold us some line about how our 1 year old thermostat somehow caused our 20 year old furnace controller to burn out. Right. His boss also tried to add some other $50 fee to us while on the phone with the tech but the tech so he wouldn't because it didn't seem fair. All in all paid $800 for a part that should cost closer to $500 parts, labor, and diagnostic. (Per their own pricing) Also tried to sell me a whole new system for 7k. When I called to complain about the charges after they sent the bill, their response was "for an extra $49 we will trade you for a programmable thermostat" (like the one I had before they charged me $246) no thanks. Will never do business again. Edit to reply... my thermostat did not fail. My furnace controller did. Your tech tested my thermostat and actually put it back on on the first visit when he concluded it was still good. On his 2nd visit (after you had computer problems and told us you wouldn't send a tech out even though you had our part from the night prior) you charged $200 over cost of parts for a 5 minute install of a thermostat we didn't need, and apparently took our working thermostat as it is nowhere to be found and no one was home during the repair of the furnace. No pricing on the thermostat was given, and when I spoke with you on the phone you wanted more money to put in yet another thermostat.. that is not the way to treat a customer and you should be ashamed.

Said they were still getting ready and would be another 30 or 40 minutes. 45 minutes later they still hadn’t arrived....or called. In fact they still haven’t called a day later. Okay, I don't like giving out 5-star reviews to just any service business (especially those who deal with heating/cooling), but the AC Guys really do deserve high marks. I ran into an issue where I needed to have one of my AC units on the roof replaced and I went out to a number of different AC companies to get some quotes. Well, needless to say, most of the companies I contacted (particularly one that rhymes with "Ghetto") gave me really astronomical quotes on units that would have easily put me in the poor house. When I spoke with Chris at the AC Guys, he not only took the time to walk me through my different unit options (as in what I would need for a house my size, what the different terminology of the units meant, etc.), but he also gave me an amazing deal on a new AC unit - WAY cheaper than any of the other companies I got quotes from. And it wasn't a generic unit either - it was a Trane unit, which is one of the best AC units you can get. The AC Guys took care of scheduling a crane and getting the proper permits and all that stuff. And when they came out to install the unit, they did it quickly and efficiently, and were able to not damage my pigeon netting I have covering the units on the roof either! So the installers were very knowledgeable and professional, and it was a pretty painless install. In addition to that, I had an issue the next day after the installation where the new unit wasn't working for some reason. When I called up the AC Guys about the issue, they sent someone out that day and he fixed the issue at no charge (there was a loose wire in the unit that caused it to trip a breaker and shut off). They also fixed a broken disconnect box in my 2nd AC unit at no charge while they were up there, even though they could have easily charged me for such a thing. Over-all, the quality of service and the professionalism I received from this company was above and beyond compare. I'll definitely use them for all my heating and air conditioning
