Great customer service and Gene is THE BEST!
Called for a water leak on side of garage. Was pleasantly surprised that the office called me and said they will try and get someone out the day of. Tech called about an hour later and said will he out later in the day. The service tech was to the point and gotnon the issue right away. He was ex Military and learned the trade while serving. Very professional and I appreciated the work that was performed and reasonable price.
Not the least expensive, but got the job done for me in record time!
I called Rakeman because my toilet was leaking water at the base. They got me scheduled for the next day. The plumber arrived on time and was professional. The plumber changed the wax ring and reinstalled the toilet. He checked to make sure there was no leaks before he left. We haven't had any problems since. I would recommend Rakeman Plumbing to anyone in need of a good plumbing company.
These guys are awesome. After a water heater install from this company.I wanted to find out why the pilot shut down on brand new water heater and get a quote. An old guy came from the company and looked at it and lite the pilot burner. So one would think maybe this is simple task and cost efficient around. I got an bill in the mail from a collections company for $172 to basically light a gas stove. I drove to rakeman plumbing myself and asked what was going on. I paid the $172 to light a gas stove. Talk about knowing right from wrong. I would of lite it for free and asked more business references. Build better business relations.
Do not use this company, they will not do the work that is needed and will steal your money. Do not ever give them or anyone your credit card before the work is done. They did not complete the work but still billed for work that was not done. Save yourself the headache and use a credible plumber because these are not professional plumbers by any means.
This company is sooo unprofessional, the lady that answer the phone in the plumbing department ALL WAYS have a attitude!! I called them on Wednesday for a quote and I still don’t have anything on Friday! I tried calling and the lady with the attitude answers the phone of course unprofessional with an attitude saying she can help me. They are a bad look for the compnay 100% if it was my money I would go else where but it’s the owners money. Smh
Rakeman has been my number one choice since day one. I am a project coordinator for Titan Solar power and if i ever need a contractor to do any work for our Local Office or Customers home they are my go too! They have done jobs ranging from Thermostat installations, Gas Line add ons, Water line add ons, Water Leaks, Emergency Calls, A/C repairs Etc. Its always a great pleasure to with Joseph (service Manager)!

Paid $196.02 for a $97.00 part. Total cost with parts and labor $344.77. Rakeman is over priced. We have since found out we could have saved over $150.00 using other companies. Estimate alone was $135.00. Will never use Rakeman again!
Fast and affordable
Used Rakeman Plumbing in 2013 to have tub installed . Called last week for same job. I was told 116 hr + 1/2 hr that's fine , then told will schedule next week however give me your credit card now. I complained , no call back. In this instance Rakeman should have scheduled a time and taken c.c. no problem. DOES NOT SEEM LIKE SAME ONWERSHIP AS THE RAKEMAN OF OLD. PS. FOUND BETTER PLUMBER.
I contacted Rakeman Plumbing with an urgent clogged drain at our dental office. They were so helpful and professional setting up the service call, Ashley was great. The technician that came out was kind, informative and efficiently fixed our problem. I appreciate all the wonderful people at Rakeman Plumbing. If your looking for a plumber look no further they are awesome!

I was so impressed with the whole process from the beginning. I had a leak in my front yard from old pipes. The ladies at the office were so polite and informative which helped reduce my stress. They sent JR to assist me and got me a quote the same day. JR walked me through all my options. Two days later JR and Darnell came, fixed the issue, and completed the job in one day! Both gentleman were on time, professional, and did a fabulous job!!! The best part was what I paid was what they quoted to me. No hidden fees. Thank you for everything! This was the one of the best customer service I have every encountered. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends. For sure, I will be using them in the future.
Unfair they don't update you 30 min. Before coming. They send someone and then call so you don't get option if there needed and then they want to charge you.
I put out some feelers for toilet repair this morning - the toilet quit flushing during the night. Got a response from Rakeman Plumbing within an hour or so, said they could be out today; I hired them. The techs showed up this afternoon, went about their work efficiently, with consideration for our home, didn't leave a mess, and were done in fairly short order. Repaired flush valves in two toilets, and replaced the fill valve in one. The cost was more than fair. Rakeman will get my recommendation if anybody asks me.
Water heater is under warranty and they want to charge me the time it takes them to figure it out what is wrong. When we already know there isnt any hot water. So he left with a water heater unfixed and they want us to sign for a bill and come back tomorrow. So I called the company and asked to speak to the manager or owner and they said her name is Rhonda but they dont know her last name. So I am now waiting for a Rhonda who's last name they dont know to call me back. Terrible!!!!
I have been using Rakeman Plumbing for over 20 years. They have handled numerous jobs, from clogged drains, complicated basement sump pump issues, slab leaks and tricky outside snake jobs. They are punctual, professional and I highly recommend them for any plumbing job, large or small.
