Steve Harris is on time and does what he says he is going to do. I would and have recommended Comfort Systems of MT to my friends and family. If you need a heat pump. Call them.
Excellent customer service! Very knowledgeable about my heating system. Explained everything to me. Got me on their schedule very quickly. I can't say enough about how great they are!
Dave was a great tech He did a Natural gas to propane conversion on a new furnace installation, did the furnace startup and testing and then checked out a new LP fireplace installation. On time. knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. And a nice smiley guy! I have worked with a lot of techs in my construction career, but he was the best by far. The office staff were on the same level as the tech. Great to work with. Looking forward to the next project and their participation in making it successful.

Great experience! They were responsive and helped get my furnace installed quickly and at a reasonable price. I used them after having a very bad experience with another company (Mountain Heating and Cooling) so their professionalism and efficiency was really appreciated. Would recommend!
I have used Comfort Systems of MT for servicing my furnaces at my rental property and my primary residence. Their response time is always good and reliable. November 2021 Update - A pilot light to our furnace was out at a vacant property in Bozeman. Upon arrival in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, their technician identified a block in the system, cleared it within 15 minutes, and lit the pilot. All good - UNTIL I was presented with a bill for $369. They charged an arbitrary amount of $250 to clear the obstruction (probably a dust-bunny) and an additional $119 diagnostic fee for finding the block. In total, the tech was at the property for 32 minutes. Ring camera confirmed. When I logged a complaint about the amount charged for the basic visit (no parts involved) their Ops Manager defended their charge by saying they often work in dangerous conditions, have highly trained techs and boasted that they do work for the Yellowstone Club. I had expected an industry standard minimum charge of $175 to $250 since he was there for less than an hour. The tech or their office never informed me of the minimum charge of $369. He told me he would not discount the charge and would send it to collections if I did not pay it.

Comfort Systems is by far the best heating and cooling company operating in southwest Montana. Highly professional, cost efficient and trustworthy, no reason to consider anyone else!
We used the portable Air Scrubber from Comfort Systems to help take the smell of fish out of our house. We had cooked halibut without a hood vent. The entire house stank for a week. We were told to try the air scrubber from comfort systems. It is light, small and super simple to set up plug it in and turn it on! Worked like a charm! We used in every room of the house and the fish smell was gone within two days!! Our air smelled clean and fresh!! Thank you Comfort Systems!! The owners were extremely helpful too!
Cannot say enough good things about this company! We needed an a/c unit moved, which sounds easy, but actually involves many steps. We called several companies, and literally this was the only company who actually sent someone out to look at what was involved and gave us a reasonable quote right away. Best of all it's a Veteran owned and staffed company, which, we can never do enough to support our Veterans, so that was important to us also! When we told them yes lets go ahead, they communicated with us promptly, sent out Steven and Nate who were professional, knowledgeable and personable, and went above and beyond in every aspect of this task. Later Nate and Dave came out to follow up and check the a/c unit was running well and there were no problems. Absolutely impressed with every aspect of this company and a shout out to Rachel who did an awesome job handling coordinating all the parts of this job. Absolutely recommend Comfort Systems of Montana!
Had an encounter with the horrible driving of a Comfort Systems employee that almost ran me off the road. Their truck passed me as the lane was merging back into one lane, I had to go into the narrow shoulder to avoid a collision or ending up in the ditch. I was driving the speed limit at the time and this truck passed me doing at least 10 over the speed limit in unsafe driving conditions. This same truck later cut me off with no turn signal later down the road. I called and left a message with Comfort Systems and they never even bothered to get back to me. Do you want to trust the safety of your home to people who can't even be trusted to operate vehicles?
I manage a facility that relies on our air conditioning units and unfortunately we had one of them go down on a Friday afternoon. I called Steven Brimm and he was able to diagnose my problem very quickly and magically hand deliver a brand new condensing unit at 5pm and stayed all night to swap out units plus recharge my system correctly. Amazing service! It’s all working beautifully and could not thank Steven enough for his professionalism and Rachel for awesome communication and quick services!! TOP NOTCH COMPANY!!
Comfort Systems went above and beyond for our AC install. The staff was friendly, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. We could not be more pleased with the work completed.
We lost heat during the Big Freeze (house interior dropped to 38 degrees!) . Since it was late at night, I called their on-call and got Kevin. I know I woke him up because I heard the sleep in his voice, but he came out with the best attitude, worked hard and fast to find and fix the problem, and couldn't have been more pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Comfort Systems!
Comfort Systems and their techs are outstanding. They repaired the misguided work of an HVAC person whose 4 attempts were fruitless. We are soooo grateful to have our heating system working perfectly.

This company is great! The staff is friendly and helpful! I had questions about a kitchen ventilation system and didn't feel rushed or talked down to with my inexperience. I received a fair price quote from Mr. Stites and wasn't pressured to purchase that day! I would recommend this company to anyone!
